regarding Gough... he isn't blind, he can still see... but he thinks he is blind, because of the people who gave him his armour - they put stuff into his helm, that blocks his view...
I never say he is blind, I say "he can't see". Regardless of the rumor that he's blind or not is irrelevant, one way or the other his vision is impaired and "he can't see". That being said, he is blind. He calls himself blind through dialogue and I choose to believe that one of Gwyn's four greatest warriors isn't so idiotic that he'd couldn't tell the difference between being blind and having the eyeholes on his helmet covered in resin. It's more likely that his blindness is why he doesn't even realize the eyeholes are plugged.
yo, never claimed you said he is blind :) edit: they are all a bit stupid, there is that one person who got stuck in a barrel... ^^ he might choose to hold the helmet in honor and therfor wears it... he also might be just a bid dumb... editedit: its possible.
TerraMantis Actually Mantis, he really isn't blind. The reason why he can't see is because his helmet has some sort of wood resin in the eye holes, which allows Gough no vision. This is mentioned in Gough's Helmet's description.
That's exactly why I avoided the word "blind." All I said was that "he cannot see", which is as open-ended as the item description itself. As I posed it, it's irrelevant whether Gough is blind or not. All that matters is one way or the other his vision is impaired. We really have no conclusive way to tell if he is literally blind or not.
If that's what you wanted to say you could have said "unable to see"... That would have clarified it more... Unable makes it more vague in terms of what you are saying... Not that cannot see is any wrong

The banshee has a baby, sword, AND uses lightning from her baby just like Solaire can use lightning. AM I ONTO SOMETHING?!
A mother holding her baby is highly popular in religions, like Isis holding Horus whom later got adopted to portrait Maria and Jesus, so I think it is more of a religious thing I guess the banshees in new Londo Ruins is holding the babies for more of a darker image, since banshees is known for mourning the death. c:

The baby carrying ghosts in New Londo reminds me of the baby carrying female statue at the bonfire behind the flame breathing dragon. Don't know if it's a coincidence but they look just the same.
I have to give you props, i actually didnt know some of these. When it comes to Vati's versions of this, i always know them. So he obviously isnt trying hard enough. LOL. Good job.
I'm honestly curious, are these stuff things you noticed by yourself or is it a compilation of things you learned in forums/videos? "If you keep blocking the mother ghost a long time she'll do this special attack...." I would NEVER find this out... She is so easily staggered, I think 99% of the DS players simply block her first attack then stagger her to death.
So, sometimes I just do a ton of research and read forums, then I'll verify if what I read is actually possible -- like when I did the mature egg-head in my other video -- but, in the case of the special ghost kill/passing through the shield (and like many other tidbits that I find out) it's just dumb luck, usually as a byproduct of spending WAY too much time with Dark Souls. For the special ghost kill I was actually just trying to capture footage of the ghost lightning baby attack and I just so happened to start writing down notes (for this video) and while I was writing I was holding block with a controller in one hand while I wrote with my right hand on a piece of paper... then she did the special move. Now, since that obviously piqued my curiosity, I actually found out about the special repeating stab kill simply because I accidentally let her do the passing through the shield thing so much that she killed me one time with it. So really, it's a combination of both but I do tend to try to have the higher ranked stuff (#1-5) be stuff that I think is either really cool or that I've found on my own.
So many little details Been playing this since it came out and I learned alot. Dark Souls is truly one of the best games if our time just by sheer attention to detail

"Only the eye holes were packed with tree resin, by those who dismissed Gough as a brutish giant" It really could be taken either way. Either he was blind, and never noticed. (Due to his blindness). Hey TerraMantis, Anastacia doesn't only have her tongue cut off, but, as stated by her Blood-Stained Skirt "Perhaps its former wearer was maimed to prevent escape?" the people that put her there not only silenced her but made sure that even without the bars, she would never have the capability of escape.
