You mentioned the 3rd story being satisfying, but I'll tell you. The first one with Liam hitting the disrespectful little shlt was extremely satisfying.
I have been harassed and my vehicles and property vandalized for over 20 years and recently threatened while on my driveway unloading groceries. It stemmed from one family who has spread lies about me. Those who knew me before that family knew what was going on but don’t want to be targeted the same way. One man and his partner had moved in a few doors down and I was friendly and chatted as I was working outside, even loaning them my books about native landscaping for our area. After the bullies moved in, they began doing things to my property as well and I mentioned that we have security cameras. His partner began following me filming me with his cellphone when I was outside taunting me. I ignored him but finally confronted his partner who had begun to ignore my hello’s and asked if I had done something wrong. He basically told me that I was a horrible person, obviously believing the lies. One elderly neighbor was selling their house but needed some repair work on their deck for structural support. My husband and I have helped them spending many hours as they have always been friends. We were finishing up a few days ago and the man walked in the backyard and my husband didn’t recognize him as I was married 7 years ago and he had never spoken to this man. The man ignored me and complimented my husband on the work who told the man that my engineering was the reason that the deck was now structurally sound. Then he complimented the paint job, which I had done touch up after my husband had caulked. We both ignored him. The man then said that his deck is having the same issues and needs work and without missing a beat my husband told him that was unfortunate and didn’t say another word. The man still hadn’t acknowledged my presence or effort and my husband realized the disrespect and normally would have offered to look at it as we have helped other neighbors. I told my husband that was great as we only help friends. The man is going to easily spend $20,000 based on others in our neighborhood that have spent. We’ve given up many weekends but the satisfaction alone to see Karma hit the man was worth every painful moment of work as the realization hit him that actions can have consequences. It might be years but that only makes the satisfaction better.

Yeah, there's no 'maybe he kinda deserved it' about it - ABSOLUTELY deserved it. Had the kid not pulled a knife, different story, but under the circumstances, 100% justified.
Generally all these celebrity stories are fake or exaggerated. I doubt the kid had a knife and he held it showing it to William. When even Gandhi has fake stories told by himself of him in South Africa plus he fooled an entire nation. You can least expect actors to not say small lies.
I had to do the same exact thing. That sounds like some type of garbage that would happen in the US. Actually probably wouldn't even happen here. It truly makes no sense. No telling how many lives he saved
This Liam's story is my best so far, I gave it 100% because as you were telling the story I was laughing at the same time you were smiling too. Several failures drive him to success and popularity. God be praised.
An Honorable Vet, making a living for his wife and kids with his talent. I can't wait for his videos! Best storyteller ever. Bet he does good bedtime stories for his little ones! 🥰❣️
*When I was a kid the thing I noted was that the teachers who deserved the most respect were the ones who never got it and the ones who didn't were the ones that did. Then I grew up and realized it was a microcosm of LIFE.*
I retired after 34 years as primarily a middle school teacher. I didn’t meet that kind of disrespect as a regular teacher, but after retirement, I substitute taught for a few years, and THAT was completely different! Kids were particularly rude, primarily at the high school level! But, strangely, regular staff and other subs were really unhelpful and “back biting!” I lost my taste for subbing quickly!
For real. My dad snitched on bikers and they tracked him down and got him for it. The anniversary of his death falls on memorial day weekend every year.
I loved The story of the actor who started out to be a schoolteacher, then yelled at a kid in the classroom and decided this was not for him, but instead became a famous actor. I never had heard the story of Harrison Ford that was really great. Keep up the good work.
You should definitely do a part 2 of this. The stories surprised me, considering how famous these three men are. What's funny is that the film director who discovered Harry was kind of in the same boat since nobody wanted to finance/produce his film and that one film ended up changing the world of movie making forever as well as began the greatest media franchise of all time.
I've noticed there are a lot less creepy stories. Every now and then but its mostly interesting stories which is good too. But the creepy stuff is what got me hooked
@Cory Dinsmore you seem angry man, the guy didn't really say anything wrong and Mr ballen himself like the comment. You seem like you could do with a J
My dad and uncle have a lot of stories similar, basically being the stubborn kid in the story. Growing up in rural Maine, from the stories they told, this was fairly common and not taboo in their district lol
Keep chasing your dreams and never give up. My mom always says “if you’re breathing, then there’s a chance” and Harrison Ford is a testament to that. Great story 👏🏽
Yes Harry was in American Grafiti and that was directed by the same “eccentric director” however his role was relatively minor and it occurred years before his big break. As such, I obscured Harry’s minor relationship with the director in order to show his big break more clearly. Edit: clarity
the kid had a knife. the teachers reaction was completely logical. what if he had pulled it on someone else or tried to stab the teacher? a weapon that can mortally wound someone vs. getting punched? his over all response to the kid wasn't the greatest but the kid clearly had intended on hurting someone over learning that day.
@@ColeKeleher No, they weren't asking who the teacher was. They're joking, and suggesting that Sean Penn was the spoiled 15 year old brat. Also, did you ever see the 1983 movie _Bad Boys,_ with Sean Penn?
I don't know what he looked like younger and pre star wars, but some men are better looking with the mature, older look, then when they're younger and Hollywood is looking for the young, Elvis/James dean look
A guy I know was, at one point, planning on being a high school science teacher. In his situation, a kid took a swing at him, but he dodged, and the kid broke his hand hitting the wall. Needless to say, it was the teacher who got in trouble. And that, in a nutshell, is why America will be a 3rd-world country soon.
@@nayan7398 As far as I remember, no. This happened more than 15 years ago in Texas. I think the kid played football, so he was "more valuable" than a teacher.
As soon as he started talking about the drinking and cocaine history and the name Tim I instantly was like “obviously Tim Allen” I knew he had done jail time for coke but had NO IDEA about the snitch for a lesser charge aspect of it. That was shocking to me as well.
Once he started talking about carpentry I was 95% sure throughout Harrison's story that I knew who it was, but the confirmation still made me yell I knew it at the screen.
I loved these stories! Regarding Harrison Ford, isn't that just like life? The moment we let go, stop trying to make something happen and basically don't give a shit...the answer comes and the breakthrough happens. This life can be such a mystery.
No shit that's how I met my wife. I gave up on dating and stopped trying and then all of the sudden this woman became VERY interested in me and is to this day the best thing that has ever happened to me.
No. In no way is that just like my life. I've spent the last 15 years not giving a shit and I'm still a nobody who wastes his time on the internet all day with nothing to show for it.
You have no idea how much this video has helped me with my depression and idea of personal self-defeat. This truly helps me believe that I will be somewhere great no matter how many failures I experience and I don’t know what else to say but Thank You.
How did I ever manage life without the strange, dark and mysterious delivered to me in story format by MrBallen?? Also congrats on making your way to 3½ million subscribers. 🤯 Mind Blown!!! That's amazing 👏🏼
He was the only actor I immediately knew who MrBallen was talking about. Back in the Home Improvement days it was pretty widely known that Tim had done time in prison for drugs. I didn't know the details of the story, though.
I knew he had been in a lot of trouble for drugs ( cocaine mostly ) but I didn't know he had a gun drawn on him in the middle of an airport by an undercover cop, lol. That's pretty intense, lol
I guess I get why they fired him, but at the same time the kid pulled a fucking knife on him!! The kid should’ve been expelled, kicked out of school, and charged...If anything, Liam was protecting himself and the other students! 🧐 Strange....
Not something to brag about. Especially when the teacher gets fired and and goes on to be a famous movie star. The 15 yo probably ended up in prison when he became an adult.
The Liam Neeson story is gold, just gold Jerry! As a former teacher myself, I cannot tell you how many times I felt like doing what he did. I NEVER did it; but yeah, I understand the feeling behind it. Oh yeah gold, Jerry, gold.
@@Magnolias2 Agreed. But we are adults. We must have more impulse control. I know it sounds shitty, but its the price of being an "adult" in power, which a teacher is.
In a country where, for the most part, it's illegal to carry a knife in public places, a stupid child brought a weapon to school and pulled it on the teacher. The teacher did his job and taught the kid a lesson.
It really is amazing to hear how just one incident or one person can change a person’s entire life! When you really take a step back and look at your own life you’re able to see the “when one door closes, another opens” moments that happen to you!
Keeping my eyes peeled for a part 2, this was so fun to try to guess who I thought the celebrity was before hand. It’s wild how one moment or opportunity can change the course of your life.
IMMEDIATELY when you said that the director was looking for a “nonchalant” and “sarcastic” kind of cool guy, everything clicked. i knew right away who it was and then you said who the director was and it was absolutely clear to me. i can’t believe one of the reasons he was turned down was that people didn’t think he was pretty enough to have roles?
I don't get that either since Harrison Ford is extremely handsome, and especially when he was younger! A total hunk! That guy really did miss his chance of casting this amazing actor
Harrison was in George Lucas’ American Graffiti in 1973, way before Lucas did casting for Star Wars. George liked him from the work he did in American Graffiti and knew he’d be a great Han Solo. That story seems way off.
I remember from the Harrison Ford part- When he played the bellboy; some Director told him, "You're no actor'. Ford replied, "I thought I was supposed to be a Bellboy". Boom!
Big fan of Mr Ballen's natural narrative skills + love the "strange, dark and mysterious". But it is also refreshing to have lighter topics like the today episode. No blood, no tears, no fears but pure suspense (who is the guy? Who is the guy ????). Thanks Mr Ballen. Had a great time listening to you, once again!
This guy has the best story telling presentation style. He's clear, honest, straightforward and easy to listen to. No special effects, no creepy pictures, subtle background [almost subliminal] music. I really like him. I don't even have to watch the video. I can picture the whole story in my head with his vivid words.
Although I subscribed to this channel for all the dark, mysterious, murder stories, I must say it's very refreshing watching a video like this lol. Thanks for all the great content Mr. Ballen, you are a story telling god!
I absolutely love your stories about celebrities. That's so refreshing and interesting, please do more. There must be more back stories of famous people 😅. So good thanks.
I love how he can't contain his excitement when liam was about to knock the kid into next week 🤣🤣🤣 I couldn't stop laughing with his reactions as he's telling the story.
I thought I didn’t know much about Hollywood actors, but I knew all three of these people about a minute into each story. That didn’t stop me from listening to the excellent narration of the whole thing, of course.
You told "Harry's" story perfectly. I was so excited for you to tell us who it was, and when you did I was like "Oh, of course!!". It made perfect sense and I can totally see him act that way. He has that very nonchalant persona that works well for the characters he's playing. Good job in portraying his personality without giving him away until the very last minute
@@annaclarafenyo8185 Yeah he had also already worked with Coppola on The Conversation, so was very familiar to Lucas and the Zoetrope crew. MrBallen takes a lot of liberties with the story here. He's just embellishing to make the story more dramatic, I get it

The way Mr.Ballen’s face lights up when he says “winds up, and just blasts this kid” is so priceless. Hitting a child is wrong, but the imagery created with the wording and emotion (mostly comedic excitement) from MrBallen is priceless.
@@tonycoltrane1311 when I say “hitting a child is wrong”, it’s just based on the context of the phrase “winds up and just blasts this kid” in a general sense. Nah if you can do carpentry at all you can do it well or he would not have lasted as one long enough to get lucky and be given a task he was not in any way auditioning for a part in a movie...

the kid had a knife. the teachers reaction was completely logical. what if he had pulled it on someone else or tried to stab the teacher? a weapon that can mortally wound someone vs. getting punched? his over all response to the kid wasn't the greatest but the kid clearly had intended on hurting someone over learning that day.

I supposed I could have said “in a normal circumstance, hitting a child is wrong”. I do agree with that fact that in this case it was self defence and I have no issue there.
