It's still wild seeing this dude in the NBA all grown as shit. It feels like just yesterday i was watching him ball out at my old HS Morgan Park. Time flies. I still can't believe he fell to us in the 2nd round, he's been a huge help for the Bulls ever since Lonzo and Caruso went down.

I don’t know why but Ayo seems to be answering these questions like a “media interview”. Js tho the answers feel weird and unnatural to me compared to how other guys answer. It might also be that he’s just uncomfortable 🤷🏾♂️
He’s young man he also wasn’t a top rookie to get all of that media attention this is just probably somewhat new to him he looks fine

He's just young
He's got a pensive personality. I think I heard in another interview that his grandfather was a professor and one of his family mantra is chopping wood (i.e. hard hard and lunch pail mentality. Grind hard every day cuz it's gotta get done even if you're tired kinda thing). He also harps on keeping an even keel, never too high and never too low but in the Derozan interview with Gilbert Arenas he uses the same phrase so I wouldn't doubt that comes from him.
Ayo is a sponge and a lot of his answers stem from advice given to him from other players throughout the year. They come off very diplomatic but if you watch enough interviews you can see he's taking in a ton of information and regurgitating it when asked about it. That implies that he's taking lessons and learning from them constantly. I see his answers as good insight into his ability to grow mentally.
