Another Maxey video is in the works (Fall 2024) For now, the end of training camp seems the most likely time it will be completed.. With more eyes on Maxey than ever before, there is more material to work with than in previous years- this one is going to be fun
Hahaha I can’t lie friend, I was referencing this video th-cam.com/video/rUDoMLVLggg/w-d-xo.html wasn’t sure if anyone would notice 😭 glad you caught it 2:10
This is a very well put together video. I was very suprised to see you only had 100 subs. I really thought this was gonna be some huge channel because of the quality of this video. Please keep it up man, you can definately do something with this!
What a ridiculously great video. Awesome job. The thing that makes Tyrese so special is that he has leadership qualities on a team where he’s not even asked to be the leader. As a Sixers fan, it gives me hope for the team’s foreseeable future. As Harden and Embiid age in the next few years, Maxey can step into that #1 option role and it can keep the Sixers championship window open longer than originally expected. The Sixers are having issues with depth right now, but once the team is healthy and another move is made at the deadline I think they can go on a special run in the playoffs.
Honored to hear you thought so highly of the video, thanks a ton- and I couldn't agree more. Maxey is like a magical antidote to so many of the concerns we've previously had about the team's present and future prospects. What he brings to the team escapes description, and while the 4-6 start gets some people upset, it is only a blip on the radar as it stands now
@@Transcend_ the thing that has stuck in my mind during this slow start is that bad stretches happen during an 82 game season. At the end of the day there’s no difference between a 4-6 stretch in January or a 4-6 stretch of October/November. And honestly, you’d probably rather have the bad stretch now than in the new year. My biggest takeaway from the first couple weeks is Harden looks healthy, Maxey is continuing to become that special type of player and Joel is Joel. If your stars are right, the rest of the team will figure it out.
@@danmcguckin98 couldn't have said it better, 4-6 stretches happen to many teams throughout the year. With last night's performance, some have voiced concerns about his ability to lead the offense. How quickly people forget how well he performed on his own last year with no Embiid or Harden. It's not like we haven't seen Embiid put up a bagel against the raptors. Off games are sure to happen at some point and they will never look pretty. But that does not make them any indicator of the big picture
Imagine that, if you practice your shot, your percentage of shots you make improves, why why WHY couldn't Ben Simmons get this? I mean, if philly fans even just saw him TRYING to develop a shot, we would've been a lot less demanding on simmons, it's a shame, simmons could've been SO beloved if he just showed he was trying, because the rest of his game was damn good. Maxey will be loved in philly forever if he just maintains a similar work ethic, and play on the court like he's got now, it's hard to not love a guy who seems to care so much about his game and his team.
All of what you are saying is valid criticism but also remember that this side of Ben Simmons is a side that exists in all of us. If you look across the span of the NBA's history, there were various levels of great players who didn't have the drive to practice. Almost universally, these are the players who are naturally gifted enough to thrive on a court at the highest level. Shaq and Iverson would be the most extreme examples. Guys like MJ, Kobe, Steph and Maxey developed the insane work ethic because it was their only opportunity to make it to the NBA. LeBron is a rare exception to the rule and yet for all the talking people do about his shooting, he is roughly the same exact type of shooter he was when he came into the league when you really look into it. Human nature finds a way to humble us one way or another, work or no work
I only seen a couple of his Kentucky games but when we Drafted him I was Happy I told my bro Hype we got a pedigree player his speed and grace is crazy 🫶🏿
I think that given the right situation and enough time to develop under the right circumtances, he could very well put himself somewhere between the Lillard and the Steph category. Exciting to see what's to come!
Some things just aren’t true. We in Philadelphia know we will go as far as Maxey improves. His expectations in this city are very high and we value more than anyone else on the team currently. We never had those expectations on Ben. We just wanted him to shoot the ball.
I agree with a lot of what you’re saying, particularly in terms of where things currently stand on Maxey, but there’s no comparing their initial developmental years in terms of national media attention and corresponding expectations. Again, not saying this as an excuse for Ben but just pointing out that it can have a slingshot effect when a player has the opportunity to really surprise people
@@Transcend_ maxey is in his initial developmental years. He’s in season 3 first 10 games. Simmons decided to sit out his Rookie year for a $10 million dollar check for rookie of the year. Maxey improved more in 1 summer than Simmons has in 6. It’s the mentality of the player not the media. Season two for Simmons Boston exposed him in the playoffs. Season two for maxey he won us playoff games. He’s on an older team but he is also the future and he knows that as well.
Too bad doc rivers is slow and is playing role players who shouldn’t be playing …..tucker is awful now , Daniel house is even worse and they are eating up so many minutes …..it’s terrible they need them to play defense and hit threes and they do neither
Been a frustrating start to the season, for sure. I trust that whether it’s with Doc or without him, Matisse will regain some of House’s minutes, Tucker will have his minutes scaled back for his own sake, and the team will find its balance
@@Transcend_ do you because after losing there three in a row as someone who isn’t a coach but can see the flaws of what’s wrong I would have fixed it right away if you aren’t producing as a role player even a little …,I mean they haven’t done even a little bit of good things
@@talkingmoney4499 I totally feel you, I think the primary focus right now before anything else is to just get the team playing harder- if they just do that they'd already be in a much better place and then they can worry about the more practical things. For whatever reason, they've come out of the gate feeling a bit uninspired, but that happens to all of us
This is really late. I got to meet maxey pre game before a maverick vs 76ers game. I am a younger kid so he let me pass the ball to him while he warmed up. He is and amazing person and player. I hope he can become a superstar and lead us to a championship
@@Transcend_ I'm from Philadelphia, lived here my entire life, embiid doesn't have that killer in him, he doesn't have that mamba mentality, that Shaq, just like Harden and Westbrook, he's soft.

Funny this popped on my Timeline after tonight's performance 🔥🔥
A performance for the ages
Maxey is Philly's favorite little brother/nephew right now. Maxey, watch out for my Aunt. I think she likes you.
This the truth lmao
We passed up on Kobe.. not this time
Not everyone sees it yet but I believe you’re right
We didn't pass up on Kobe ...we picked Iverson.
“When working from the mid-range, it’s almost like he has an agreement with gravity.” 😂 😂 great comment!
