kid is incredibly 'heady' for a rookie. Plays like a 5 year veteran starter. Great court vision, energy, and a very willing passer. Chicago picked up a future All-Star with this pick.

I'll never forget waking up in the middle of the night to check Twitter to see who we drafted and I damn near jumped out my apartment window with excitement when I read the Bulls got Ayo. I thought for sure he would've been gone somewhere late first. Bulls got a helluva steal.

ayo clearly plays to win. I honestly feel confident that he'd make the right decisions every time he has the ball on his hands. such IQ and defensive abilities for our rook.
The Bulls Basically Have 2 options, sticking and try to improve its roster to compete for a chip, specially with derozan and lavin and vucevic still with the team, and added drummond and dragic, and at the sametime if it fails they still have option #2 which is they already have Ayo,Terry and Pat Will as the teams futures.
Bulls needs more two-way players like Ayo. Trade Coby White, give Ayo more minutes and more development.

Ayo is my rookie of the year because he had off the chart stats playing behind other stars. He proved how you play within a team as a rookie. Most rookies can't do what Ayo did and he is a sponge.

@@suavelleadams5097 I actually like him next to Zo. They have great chemistry. He's the only 1 I've seen since the Lakers days to throw an alley oop to Zo. You need another passer to utilize Zo to the max. Most never utilize Zo's ability to move without the ball.

He could be in for a big season building off of how well he played in his rookie year. Plus... we'll need him if Lonzo isn't ready

What I like about him is that he can hit bit shots, come up big defensively, and pass the ball to open teammates for easy shots. He definitely learned to lead as a Fighting Illini, and he has shown his greatness in his rookie year. He is the epitome of a player who is willing to do "whatever it takes to win the game". And I think he would play the same way even if he's starting or coming off the bench. And I'm glad that he is on the Bulls.

As a Univ. of Illinoins basketball fan I was so confused how he didn't go in the top 20... He led Illinois to a no. 3 overall ranking and shredded defenses with his pass and slash... wthell were NBA franchises thinking?

And I've always thought great hands are among the most important attributes to make a star player because you can do so much with the ball in terms of defense, passing, and fining difficult layups. Ayo Dosunmu has hall-of-fame level hands. All he needs is reps and he can affect every aspect of a game as a high-impact role player or quality starter on a competitor.
SN: Stacey King is still the worst homer in NBA history lol, tho the point where I have to mute Bulls highlights so I don't have to hear his 1997 catchphrases (e.g "Like Zach, if I could be like Zach.") The homage to MJ was worth a chuckle the first time, like 4,792 instances ago.

All those teams passed on him because he was an older player. Forget that he won the award for best guard in college. Forget that he got better every year in college. Who needs a good sized combo guard (an actual combo guard, not an undersized shooting guard) with long arms who's a little good at everything, even if he's not great at any single thing?
