I'm not sure if it's been requested before, but John Paul Jones' bass tone on Led Zeppelin's "How Many More Times" is crazy, please please please cover that BEHS!!!
That’s what I’m talking about. I was listening to the deluxe edition and for the first time I could hear JPJ kick into what is basically a bass solo at 6:12
As with alot of zeppelin recordings, the volume of the bass is too low, IMO. Jones should have cranked it up a bit, like Jack Bruce. Then again it might not have been a good idea. Ginger Baker would get mad at Jack Bruce because Ginger could not hear what he was playing live.
Think about that; the drummer couldn't hear himself over the Bass. I hear Ginger said the Bass was too loud. But didn't figure he couldn't hear his own playing.
What can i say? The greatest rhythm section of all time. ❤❤❤❤
This is my favorite song on Zep 1. Very underrated album and song.
@John galush Mine as well. How Many More Times is a top five Zeppelin song for me.
Mine too!! Infectious
This album was never underrated
Almost like people in the comments don't know the meaning of underrated. LZ I is anything but underrated.

All those amazing fills by Bonzo, like hand in glove with JPJ
We can say that JPJ is like a custom-made glove for Bonham, perfect!
Never again will we see such a perfect assembly!
When two heavyweights play together…irresistible! 😊
06:33 that part... Best moment in history of Rock
That drumbeat from 5:48 to 6:38. Completely killer.
Love to hear bass and drums from out on the Tiles from zeppelin 3.
Not really a "Bass and drums" version from Out on the Tiles, but you might enjoy "The bathroom sound", from the deluxe version of Zep 3.

Once again the rhythm section puts the great, solid bottom for Plant and Page to fly over. The Johns were awesome!
Always loved that shuffle? that starts at 5:47

even without the guitar and plant....this could have been a hit on its own!!!!!!!!!!!!!!GOAT
