I was pretty buzzed watching videos on TH-cam and came across this video of the living legend Leo Messi, and I started to reflect more than ever on how incredible this guy is. It deeply saddens and depresses me to know that there are people who genuinely hate, detest, belittle, and even wish harm upon this guy. It's simply a disgrace and a sadness that there are people incapable of seeing the incomparable brilliance of this guy. A damn GENIUS, an unheard-of talent that has never been seen before and probably will never be seen again...
I'd like to suggest all football fans to share this video with their football friends so that, hopefully, we can open the eyes of some blinded fans by fanaticism. And if you're one of them who hate and criticize Messi, do yourself a favor and put on some headphones, sit down, and watch this video closely. I understand the hate, I completely understand the passion that football can awaken in you, but forget about the colors of your jersey, forget about what you think you know about football. I started watching football on 2009 just because of Messi and Barca (one of my cousin persuaded me and told how good Messi was). Since then, I have never missed watching Barca games, except where we didn’t have electricity - lack of electricity is a big issue in Afghanistan, most of the matches started after 12 AM, and we would be lucky if it started before that.
Even though some the matches started 1 AM and finished close to 3 AM meanwhile I have to be in at work at 7 AM, I kept watch the game.
After the World Cup one of my fiend who is die hard Madrid fan told me, “what a match man, Messi played so well”. I told him that it was just another match for Messi intern of performance. You just witness the tip of iceberg and wonder how good he was. I have been watching every single of his game for a decade.

His first match with Barça was against Amposta FC, a little town next to La Ràpita, my village. First time I saw him, I knew he was the GOAT. I didnt need him to win or demonstrate anything else, but he even has achieved a lot more than what I expected. He is clearly the best of all time, and I even maybe of the future

My introduction to Lionel Messi was his goal against Mexico, the lob that I'm so happy is included in this video at 17:09 ... I had stopped watching soccer for about 10 years and was just getting back to it. I was in a restaurant/bar where they happened to be showing this Copa America match. I watched this play and thought OK, play it back to Tevez, what are you waiting for?? But then this dude did the unexpected, an amazing touch, a beautiful lob, the most unexpected play. I thought to myself: I don't recall players being this accurate, and trying this type of shot. A lob, with 2 defenders relatively close by, with a very different technique from the typical lobbing technique and with beautiful accuracy. I didn't know I was watching one of the greatest players.

I can’t remember the last time I watched the entirety of a highlights video. They all tend to have something that drives me away, the music, the editing, the sound, but this I could watch over and over.
