    Love seeing another Dimash reaction from you. He is fluent in Kazakh and Russian. Continuing to get better at English and Mandarin. He does sing in at least 14 languages. When has concert in new country he normally learns and performs a song native to the Dears in that country. Add multi-instrumentalist, composer, director, screenwriter, humanitarian and it’s a start to this once in forever artist. Appreciate you learning about this song and meaning. 😮❤🎶😥
    I listen to this every day. Sobbed the first time from pure beauty and emotion. Still get tears and goosebumps.

    Dimash has so much content now and versions of songs as well as offial videos of songs, there is a lot to take in to get to know all of his colors just so far. Definitely you have much to check out to appreciate all that is Dimash, however it's a beautiful journey and very much worth doing. 7 years listening to Dimash old and new content and never tiring of it because it's just so good.

    It is so refreshing to see a review of Dimash from such a lovely lady. I am convinced that if you play Dimash's music only a few times it will resonate in your sleep and calm your soul. He is my "soul menderer" in that in a small way he heals. Enjoy your journey.

    Dimash always treats others very touchingly and with respect. Very modest, tactful and incredibly well-mannered!!! Recently saw a video from his very elderly fan. She is 80-something years old, she is from New Zealand.😳. For the last few years, she has hardly left the house and mainly lay and sat. Old age and the exacerbation of many diseases did not allow her to move much! She herself told; Once, completely by chance, she heard an incredible voice while sitting in the kitchen. In another room, TH-cam was on and different music was constantly playing. She gathered her strength and went to watch quickly. And that's it, since then she began to learn about Dimash and listen to everything that was on the air. She said that when Dimash sang, she seemed to breathe in clean air and began to feel that she was getting easier and easier. The pain decreased time after time. After a month of listening to Dimash, she herself went to see a doctor. The doctor was amazed by the results of the tests and examination. He started asking what she was taking! 😅 A few years later, she flew to Dimash's concert herself. 30 hours of flight time! At her age! 😳 And then she went to several more. Then she decided to fly to Kazakhstan herself to see where Dimash was born and studied. Somehow, Dimash's parents found out about her and invited her to visit their home. And then the most interesting thing happened. As she told us; A gorgeous table was set, a lot of national dishes and all of Dimash's relatives were around. They all sat down at the table. And suddenly Dimash enters on his shoulder with a towel and a small basin and a jug in his hands. And he begins to approach everyone at the table and, putting a basin under him, pours water on their hands and gives them towels to wipe them off. 😮😂 She was speechless and sat with her mouth open. Her idol! The magical voice of the planet! Gathering huge stadiums of spectators!!! For every look of which fans were ready to do anything! And he modestly, with a smile and tact, approaches each guest and bends down to wash their hands with water! 😮😮😮😂😂😂 Because that's how it's supposed to be, it's a tradition, that's the order in families in Kazakhstan. The youngest must take care of the guests at the table (probably his brother was in another place that day).. That's our Dimash!😊

    Where does so much air come from? 😊 Dimash has been studying vocals since he was 5 years old. He has 3 musical degrees and is currently defending his doctoral dissertation in music. And he still practices with a vocal trainer for at least three hours every day. That's why he is growing professionally. He knows in advance how much air he needs for a particular sound. Dimash also did a lot of sports in his youth, especially swimming, which of course also increases the capacity of his lungs.

    Hello.Diana 👋 Thank you for your wonderful and sincere response!🤗🤗🤗🌹🌹🌹💐💐💐
    When Koji Tomaki heard Dimash perform his song, he was very shocked. And besides the vocals, he said that he had heard foreigners sing in Japanese many times and this was the first time he heard that it was so correct and pure. (The thing is that in Japanese and other Asian languages, the meaning and significance of a word very often changes depending on intonation and volume.) And this is embedded in the lyrics of this song. And Dimash conveyed these differences! Listen to how differently he sings Ikanaide!

    The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person and that person is Dimash. I had the opportunity to say this to Dimash, personally, when I was with him in Latvia where I went, coming from Portugal (there are 8000 km round trip), on the 7th of March 2020. With friendship Rui Baptista

    En realidad Dimash habla 4 idiomas (kazajo, ruso, inglés y algo de mandarín), y ha cantado en alrededor de 15 idiomas distintos. También sabe tocar unos 6 o 7 instrumentos (guitarra acústica, piano, xilofono, batería, guitarra eléctrica, dombra, percusiones), y ha practicado el taekwondo, la natación, el fútbol, tenis, equitación, entre otros. Además de poder cantar prácticamente cualquier nota existente, es un excelente actor, produce, dirige, es cantautor y también buen bailarín y modelo. Su música abarca géneros como rock, pop, jazz, folk, rap, blues, clásico, ópera, etc. Es un conjunto de virtudes y talentos que conviven con una calidad humana extraordinaria. Dimash also sang the same song but in Mandarin - it is quite a famous song in China. If you want to react to it, I suggest that you watch the video on G Wu's TH-cam channel "Dimash translated: the true story behind "Autumn Strong" with English Subtitles". It explains the full story behind the song. I suggest that you have a supply of tissues at hand. If someone had warned you a month ago that you might cry whilst listening to a guy from Kazakhstan, singing a song in Chinese that you had previously heard him sing in Japanese you would have thought that they were mad.

    Il ne parle que le kazakh, le Russe et l’Anglais et est familier avec le mandarin mais il peut chanter en 13 ou 14 langues car chaque fois qu’il a un concert à l’étranger il essaie par politesse pour le pays hôte de chanter une chanson dans leur langue. C’est ainsi qu’on peut entendre des chansons en Turc, Arménien, Chinois. Il a également dans son répertoire des chansons en Italien, Français, Espagnol, Russe , Chinois , Japonais et j’en oublie…

    👉 Dimash sang Ikanaide (live and for the first time in Japanese) on the Tokyo Jazz Festival in 2021(in his studio). Because of the “pandemic”, the annual Tokyo Jazz Festival took place online again. Filmmakers verify that the videos have not been edited and manipulated, so the singer sings live.
    In 2020 Dimash also participated in the famous annual Tokyo Online Festival with 2 songs:
    * S.O.S. - th-cam.com/video/WdKYDoqKLP8/w-d-xo.html
    * Samaltau - th-cam.com/video/cEyLyKW-gWY/w-d-xo.html
    The original song Ikanaide was composed in 1989 by Koji Tamaki (*1958) singer and songwriter, the lyrics come from one of his lyricists Goro Matsui.
    In the same year, the song was used as the theme song for a Chinese-Japanese television series Farewell, Lixianglan, about the Japanese woman Yoshiko Yamaguchi (*1920 - † 2014) a Chinese-born Japanese actress during World War II. She hid her Japanese heritage under the name Li XIanglan and became famous in China. However, when the war was over and she revealed her identity, she was accused of being a spy. She was deported to Japan and longed for China. Ms. Yamaguchi did not return to China until many years as deputy environment minister in the Japanese parliament. The song is a metaphor as the lyrics speak of how a person should hide what they are feeling.
    Koji Tamaki sent a wonderful message to Dimash, thanking him, and praising him for singing his song in Japanese.
    Vbloggers, they reacted to the original by Koji Tamaki, they are mesmerized and can't stop listening to Koji Tamaki. He wrote many wonderful melodies - you should check it out:
    Koji Tamaki 2021, Ikanaide - th-cam.com/video/OpgnM2MccCQ/w-d-xo.html
    Dimash's Japan Fan Club asked the famous Japanese author of lyrics of 'Ikanaide' Goro Matsui about his emotions at Dimash performance. It's one of his favorite songs:
    "… I heard Dimash singing "Ikanaide" by accident. The first thing that impressed me was his crystal clear tone and expressive voice. I heard other Asian artists perform the song many times, but despite their magnificent vocal skills, none seemed to capture the true meaning of the original lyrics. In the chorus of the song, the line "Ah, Ikanaide" is repeated several times. And although these are the same words, each line has a different meaning. And it seems to me that Dimash felt it. "
    In 1993, Jacky Cheung (*1961, singer and actor in Hongkong) adapted the song into Chinese Mandarin, calling it Late Autumn: th-cam.com/video/dtM2EsgHD3M/w-d-xo.html
    The Chinese (Autuumn Strong) and Japanese (Ikanaide/ Please, Don’t Go) versions have completely different lyrics and meanings… and of course Dimash sings both very differently:
    - The Chinese version shows the image of leaves dancing in the autumn wind as a metaphor for the passage of time, a farewell and change...sad but inevitable and irrevocable
    - The Japanese version does not want to accept the loss of a loved one, is full of pain, begs, suffers... heartbreaking.
    I'm totally mesmerized by how sensitively Dimash differentiates and conveys to the listener the feelings of sadness and loneliness in the Chinese version and loss and pain in the Japanese version. Even his whispers and his breath are music... it breaks my heart and the tears flow... and at the end everyone suddenly holds their breath, we hear Dimash breathing, then a deep and comforting hum.
    I've never heard anything like that from other singers in my entire life. Only Dimash can do that. This is true mastery.
    * The most famous interpretation In China (first performance at the Singer 2017) was that of Dimash Qudaibergen and it was his first time to sing in Chinese mandarin: Autuumn Strong - th-cam.com/video/Kmi2cVijdMo/w-d-xo.html
    This song brought Dimash the 'Best Foreign Singer' award at the Golden Melody Award 2017 (equivalent to the Grammy) in Hong Kong.
    * Great performance (Chinese version) of Dimash from Kiev 11.03.2020, the last concert before Corona paralyzed everything: Autumn Strong - th-cam.com/video/437IEsDIZfE/w-d-xo.html
    * Other version by Dimash: In Moscow on March, 2019 - Autumn Strong - th-cam.com/video/-ewR8Boc21I/w-d-xo.html
    (Thanks to all Dears who helped to complete the information)

    The number of languages he speaks and sings changes constantly depending upon who is reporting the numbers. Speaks: Kazakh and Russian fluently. He heard and spoke these from birth. He said he learned English from his stage crews for whom English was a 2nd or third language. His English is still sometimes astonishingly poor, at times quite good. He understands Mandarin fairly well after spending eight years in China off and on. He can speak a few words and simple sentences, but needs to be coached on the pronunciation of song lyrics as he finds speaking Mandarin difficult. He will listen to Chinese being spoken to him and then answer in English. So one could say he speaks two languages fluently and can get by in English and then somewhat in Chinese.
    Singing is a different story. He has sung in many languages, often coached in pronunciation by people who are not proficient. He did his one Japanese song very well. He still butchers French. English still has a lot of errors. Italian seems to be easy for him (he’s done several), and his one song in Spanish was done well. He has sung a couple folk songs (Armenian and Ukrainian), and one song in Turkish. Opera singers are expected to learn lyrics in different languages and to sing them well.
    I have seen comments that he speaks 12 languages and sings in 18. That’s ridiculous. They are just pulling numbers out of the air with nothing to back them up.
    Nevertheless, close to 100% of his fans listen eagerly to any language Dimash sings in, myself included.

    I love your videos, but it bothered me a bit that you cut off the music before it ended . I understand that his vocal was done, but the instrumentals are of the highest quality and beautiful in their own right. They are definitely worth hearing, and cutting them off seems a bit disrespectful. Overall, that is a small thing, but it kind of struck me. Still, I love the way you experience the wonderful Dimash.
