This is crazy. Also my favorite. Please do the Emei Mountain Festival. It’s so telling how he cares for his fans. To not cancel and sing outside with pouring rain.
Definitely my favourite performance of so many great performances by Dimash to date. Great reaction Maddy I would challenge almost anyone with a passion for music not to have a significant emotional response to this one just as you did. That's even before thinking about the mastery of voice that Dimash was showing here. Thank you for sharing your response with your growing following.
DIMASH is the first singer I have heard in my vast years of life, that doesn't make one iota if you don't have the lyrics or a traslation ; he still pulls you into a feeling that you undertand it all. That is a great power that is hard to describe to others unfamiliar with him. Some people call him an angel , some an alien; but he is definately different from what we know about others in the world of music.
You really must at least once in your lifetime. I had the opportunity to see him live in concert in Dusseldorf, Almaty and recently Kuala Lumpur. He is out of this world. I have seen many performers live in my lifetime from Ella Fitzgelrd, Streisand, Paul McCartney, Michael Jackson, Tina Turner, Bruse Springsteen, Pavarotti to Queen but no one comes close to Dimash. Im glad to have lived this long to see an exceptional and unique artist such as he.
Ikaneide En esta interpretacion hay ternura y pasión, melancolía y tristeza, oración y desesperanza!!! No hay epítetos que puedan describir mi admiración por este extraordinario interprete
Similar smaller setting: Samaltau, which he also performed live and remote for the Tokyo Jazz Festival 2020, sitting in his home studio with two friends.
Another intimate Dimash song you are DEFINITELY going to want to hear is called " Love is Like a Dream ". It will be your new favorite lol. Peace and love from Pennsylvania USA.
You clearly have a musical heart and emotional ear as this is-I believe-Dimash's greatest vocal performance. The vocal precision and emotional expression are unsurpassed and bring tears to the eyes of every listener who has a heart! This performance is a "tour-de-force" of every emotional expression and brilliant vocal technique that I have ever seen. Many experts and vocal technicians will point to this performance and say ' This is how GOD would sing a song"!!
Really love your emotional response to Dimash's extremely emotional singing performance. This is so beautiful and flawless. He just sings to our soul..the one and only Dimash.❤
This was another very enjoyable reaction. This is quickly becoming one if not the favorite Dimash performance for me and it invokes a very visceral response in me, just as "Ave Maria" did. I believe this actually was a live performance in that Dimash sang "Ikanaide" live for the Tokyo Jazz Festival Live stream in January of 2021 as it was being recorded. As someone else pointed out, he performed Ikanaide from his studio in Beijing where he was going through a month of quarantine before taking part in the “Shine Super Brothers” TV show. According to several native Japanese speakers, Dimash's pronunciation of the lyrics is nearly flawless. One native speaker, who gave a detailed analysis, stated that he is "expressing Japanese more (better) than Japanese" and that he does not only perfectly pronounce Japanese but "expresses Japanese…with Japanese emotion.". Goro Matsui, who wrote the lyrics to "Ikanaide," posted on his Twitter account that he has never heard a foreigner sing in Japanese in such a beautiful way. Tamaki Kōji composed the music and performed the song in 1989. "Ikanaide" became the title song for the Chinese-Japanese TV series "Farewell, Li Xianglan," filmed that year. It is the story of Yoshiko Yamaguchi, a beloved Chinese-born Japanese actress and singer during World War II who hid her Japanese heritage under the name Li XIanglan. Following the war, when the Chinese became aware of her Japanese heritage, she was accused of being a spy and sentenced to death by firing squad for treason and collaboration with the Japanese; she had been involved in the production of Japanese propaganda films. Thanks to the intervention of influential friends, she was cleared of all charges but urged to leave China or risk being lynched. She resettled in Japan, where she would continue to enjoy a successful acting career. In the 1950s, she moved her acting career to Hollywood and Broadway under the name Shirley Yamaguchi but returned to Japan in 1959, retiring from acting. She would go on to become a TV presenter and eventually a politician. She did not return to China for nearly 20 years. In 1990, "Ikanaide" was translated into Cantonese and sung by Jacky Cheung using the same melody. Later, the song was rewritten and translated for Jacky Cheung to Mandarin under the title "Late Autumn." In 2004 the Taiwanese singer Terry Lin adapted the song into a new version titled "In Deep Autumn," with lyrics written by Daryl Yao. Dimash chose the 2004 Taiwanese version arranged by Terry Lin with Mandarin lyrics for his performance at the 2017 "I Am A Singer" competition but gave it his own interpretation and titled it "Autumn Strong." This song went on to earn Dimash the "Best Foreign Singer" award during the Golden Melody Award in Hong Kong. Here are the original lyrics to "Ikanaide": Ikanaide (ee-kanaa-eedayy) Please Don't Go Away by Koji Tamaki Nothing visible, nothing I have been crying throughout Not because I feel sorrowful But because of the delight of feeling your warmth
Ah… Please don't go away, please don't go away Please don't ever ever let us separate Ah… Please don't go away, please don't go away Let's remain this way
Someday your heart will be somewhere afar That everything will turn into memory Though it's better not to know Though it's better not to know
Ah… Please don't go away, please don't go away Whenever it is, don't let us separate Ah… Please don't go away, please don't go away Let's remain this way
An extraordinary song in music and lyrics. An emotionally overwhelming performance. A sublime, unique, incomparable voice. Thank you for sharing your emotions and the art of music with us. From Argentina affectionate greetings and successes.🌹🍀
Impresionante. Tu bello rostro, tus lágrimas de emoción, consecuencia de una canción de una belleza y una hondura indescriptibles de un artista superlativo, me producen una extraordinaria emoción a mí también. Gracias por tu reacción, preciosa.
Maddy, this is my favorite, I'm so glad you took the time to react to this one..no screaming fans or stage noises, just perfectly clear audio, a simple string audio track and Dimash singing his heart out. It really shows off his superb dynamics and vocal flexibility. I'm really looking forward to your reaction to his concert performance of "El Amor En Ti". Be well, stay safe and enjoy your Dimash journey.
@@MaddyReactions Thanks for the reply,. Great reaction by the way, when your eyes started to well up so did mine. Dimash feels everything he sings and makes you feel what he feels, you don't have to know the language, you can't help but be moved. It's his "super power". Take care.
I can see this performance by our vocal King touched you like it does all of us. This is one of my rolling 5 favorites, which are SOS, Across Endless Dimensions, Ikanaide, Ave Maria and Your Love. The rest are all a close tie for 6 lol. Loved your reaction and analysis
There’s another video with same setting. It’s Samaltau from the Tokyo Jazz Festival. This one is also special, one of my faves from Dimash. Great reaction 🙋🏻♀️👏🏼🙌🏼👍🏼💜🇨🇦
Many japanese "dears" have said that DIMASH's language in this song is perfect, others not familiar with DIMASH were shocked about his command of japanese.
Oh God Almighty, thank you for giving such a voice to our Kazakh.. This song performed by Dimash is a masterpiece that no one has sung it so intensely ❤❤❤
💕💕💕👍👍👍💕💕👍👍👍. ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING!!! Dimash has the most beautiful voice in the World. More Dimash please, Love is like a Dream, Lionel Riches Hello, Across Endless Dimensions, Give Me Your Love. 👍👍👍💕💕💕👍👍👍💕💕💕
👉 Dimash sang Ikanaide (live and for the first time in Japanese) on the Tokyo Jazz Festival in 2021(in his studio). Because of the pandemic, the annual Tokyo Jazz Festival took place online again. Filmmakers verify that the videos have not been edited and manipulated, so the singer sings live. In 2020 Dimash also participated in the famous annual Tokyo Online Festival with 2 songs: * S.O.S. - th-cam.com/video/WdKYDoqKLP8/w-d-xo.html * Samaltau - th-cam.com/video/cEyLyKW-gWY/w-d-xo.html The sad true story of this song... very touching: It is about Yoshiko Yamaguchi (*1920-2014), a Chinese-born Japanese actress during World War II. She hid her Japanese heritage under the name Li XIanglan and became famous in China. However, when the war was over and she revealed her identity, she was accused of being a spy. She was deported to Japan and longed for China. Ms. Yamaguchi did not return to China until many years as deputy environment minister in the Japanese parliament. The song is a metaphor as the lyrics speak of how a person should hide what they are feeling. The original Japanese version Ikanaide/ Please Don’t Go (composed 1989) is by Koji Tamaki, *1958, Japanese songwriter. Koji Tamaki sent a wonderful message to Dimash, thanking him, and praising him for singing his song in Japanese. Vbloggers, they reacted to the original by Koji Tamaki, they are mesmerized and can't stop listening to him. He wrote many wonderful melodies - you should check it out: Koji Tamaki 2021, Ikanaide - th-cam.com/video/OpgnM2MccCQ/w-d-xo.html Dimash's Japan Fan Club asked the famous Japanese author of 'Ikanaide' Goro Matsui about his emotions at Dimash performance. It's one of his favorite songs: "… I heard Dimash singing "Ikanaide" by accident. The first thing that impressed me was his crystal clear tone and expressive voice. I heard other Asian artists perform the song many times, but despite their magnificent vocal skills, none seemed to capture the true meaning of the original lyrics. In the chorus of the song, the line "Ah, Ikanaide" is repeated several times. And although these are the same words, each line has a different meaning. And it seems to me that Dimash felt it. " In 1993, Jacky Cheung (*1961, singer and actor in Hongkong) adapted the song into Chinese Mandarin, calling it Late Autumn: th-cam.com/video/dtM2EsgHD3M/w-d-xo.html The Chinese (Autuumn Strong) and Japanese (Ikanaide/ Please, Don’t Go) versions have completely different lyrics and meanings… and of course Dimash sings both very differently. Both are based on a same true story. The Chinese version shows the image of leaves dancing in the autumn wind as a metaphor for how fate affected Yoshiko Yamaguchi's life. ...sad but inevitable and irrevocably The Japanese version does not want to accept the loss, is full of pain, pleads, suffers ... heartbreaking. I'm totally mesmerized by how sensitively Dimash differentiates and conveys to the listener the feelings of sadness and loneliness in the Chinese version and loss and pain in the Japanese version. Even his whispers and his breath are music... it breaks my heart and the tears flow... and at the end everyone suddenly holds their breath, we hear Dimash breathing, then a deep and comforting hum. I've never heard anything like it from a singer in my entire life. Only Dimash can do that. This is true mastery. * The most famous interpretation In China (first performance at the Singer 2017) was that of Dimash Qudaibergen and it was his first time to sing in Chinese mandarin: Autuumn Strong - th-cam.com/video/Kmi2cVijdMo/w-d-xo.html This song brought Dimash the 'Best Foreign Singer' award at the Golden Melody Award 2017 (equivalent to the Grammy) in Hong Kong. * Great performance (Chinese version) of Dimash from Kiev 11.03.2020, the last concert before Corona paralyzed everything: Autumn Strong - th-cam.com/video/437IEsDIZfE/w-d-xo.html * Other version of Dimash: In Moscow on March, 2019 - Autumn Strong - th-cam.com/video/-ewR8Boc21I/w-d-xo.html (Thanks to all Dears who helped to complete the information)
Amanat is one of my favourite soft songs by Dimash. From the digital show. He sits on the floor and sings a song that is like a lullaby to his homeland.
this and one he did when he was on the singing contest in 2017 are awesome this one was sung in Japanese ..( a new language he is using) and the other was sung in perfect Mandarin .. so much so that when native Mandarin speakers listen to it they thought he was a native speaker. it just shows the dedication he puts into every song he sings .. the other song was Autum Strong
Second visit to your channel. Both Dimash. Loved how you just let his performance connect with you. It's rare for most reactors. Loved your reaction. Most cant wait for Dimash to show his vocal gymnastics and simply dont know how to appreciate a performance like this. Dont apologize for loving this extremely beautiful performance. You might want to check out the first time Dimash performed this song in the 2017 China competition show I Am Singer. Ikanaide is the original Japanese version. Dimash first performed the song 2017 in the he Chinese version of the same song and story under the title Autumn Strong / Late Autumn. He performed it in Mandarin for his Chinese audience as a tribute for the love they had shown him during that competition. I suggest you view the long version from the Gloria Wu channel that includes as intro the famous backstory of the song and Dimash preparing for his performance. The song subtitles are weak but better than nothing. The intro tho explains why the song was important to Dimash as well as the Chinese people. Dimash was worried his Mandarin would be bad. He had only one week to learn the song phonetically. It was amazing. My favorite performance ever by Dimash. The emotional connection between Dimash and his Chinese competitors,.judges and audience is epic. Thank you for sharing Dimash. Sorry this is so long. Hugs. Mark
This is many peoples favourite performance of Dimash, a tough choice, but you can hear why. It's the combination of technical perfection and beautifully judged emotional performance that is just exquisite. Glad you liked it 😊
...... it's normal to be in love with Dimash after seeing performances like this.... and I say this as a straight man hehehehehe.😆😆😆 In itself this is already a very sad song for the subject matter.... (I'm sure some of my "Dear" brothers or sisters will have already explained to you in the comments, so I'll spare you the repetition) so don't be ashamed to cry (By the way I saw you cry in "The story of one Sky" and you are beautiful even when you cry if I may say so). And anyway crying washes the soul!😇 As always, thanks for your reactions to our beloved Kazakh Prince is a greeting from the Italian "Dear".🙂🫂🖐🖐
Thank you Maddy for the lovely reaction! My best friend is japanese and she chose this song for her funeral,if she goes....I will be bawling my eyes out!😢
It hits ya' in the feels', doesn't it.....This is one of my faves as well. You mentioned that you could hear his breath. I've heard this before with him, but it is especially clear in the quiet of the studio , using such a high fidelity mike. It was like you could hear the notes trail off and still detect his vocal chords vibrating even though the tone was so soft as to be inaudible. JUst thinking about it gives me chicken skin (what we call goose bumps in the islands). Great reaction btw....
Dimash' most beautiful song IMHO! Dimash sings notes from his mouth and at the same time he sings emotions from the pores of his skin. BTW - You are a beautiful young woman. If I was about 40 years younger I would chase you 'til you caught me...or until the cease and desist letter showed up! Be well, and keep smiling that oh so pretty smile, your follow Dear, Duke
This is my Fave! I love his natural singing voice, which he displays beautifully in this. The belting is phenominal. I don't need the vocal acrobats all the time. His natural voice is silky smooth and very sexy!
Dimash sang a chinisse version-cover of the same song "autum strong" maybe that was the most amazing cover of this song. Thank you i LOVE yours reactions
I love your face I love your smile more so when you cry it's so natural but Dimash makes grown men cry he puts so much effort into his songs and his music check out the song Daybreak it's a true story about a tragedy again you will cry it's touching. All the same I love your reactions I am a fan for life.
Ikanaide means 'don't go' and has a sad but true backstory. If you want to know about it, all you have to do is react to Autumn Strong from Gloria Wu channel with backstory. It’s the same song but here he sings this song in Mandarin with slightly different lyrics. Or I'm sure another Dear will explain the story😅. Autumn Strong: th-cam.com/video/FXQ58U-Eddg/w-d-xo.html Ikanaide (the original) was written by the Japanese singer Koji Tamaki in 1989. This song is sooo beautiful❤️. And he performed it with so much emotions. You literally can feel his pain😪. His first song in Japanese. He has been invited to perform at the Tokyo Jazz Festival in 2021. But he couldn't go to Japan because of Covid. So he had to sing it from the studio in China. There he took part in the show Shine! Super Brothers. I’m not sure but I think it was his studio in China. But I do know he got a studio as a gift for his birthday. If the Japanese reactors are to be believed, Dimash sang in perfect Japanese. Some also claimed that it was better Japanese than many Japanese themselves😅. th-cam.com/video/8mM-bp5PB34/w-d-xo.html Greetings and love from Germany👋❤️
🗣️🎶 Astonishing. The fragility of voice and emotion he conveys through technique in this song about vulnerability. Still speechless after 12 years, enjoy your 12 Maddy ! ❤️ He deserves it, and great luck on your channel !!
From my you have a "YES"!🙂 I suggest you discover Dimash's interpretations, during the pandemic, made without the public in the studio that are special and who will enjoy you!: "We Are One", "River of Love", "Ikanaide" (just saw) .. etc. who are in the studio, without an audiente! 👍 However, for starters, watch "AED - Across Endless Dimensions" - movie version, from the soundtrack of the movie "Creators - The Past"!🙂
THANK YOU FOR YOUR REACTION.. YOU ASKED IS THERE ANOTHER STUDIO RECORDINGS FROM DIMASH.. I CAN SAY THEY ARE .. ONE OF THEM IS ABOUT THE PANDEMIC .. DIMASH IS ONE OF THE FIRST .. MORE DEFINITELY THE FIRST SING ABOUT HELPING PEOPLE .. HOW DIFFERENT COUNTRIES AND THEIR LEADERS COME WITH IT .. AND THERE ARE EVEN VICTORIES IN THE FIGHT AGAINST THIS DISEASE YU . Dimash - We Are One | 2020
The Chinese version of this song is very famous in the 90's, however I never like it until I heard Dimash's cover. You can check out Dimash version in Mandarin, its call Autumn Strong
👏🏻👏🏼👏🏽👏🏽👏🏿👏🏿👏🎶🎶♥️♥️🇧🇷🇧🇷
The song is about Yoshiko Yamaguchi, a Chinese-born Japanese actress during World War II. She hid her Japanese heritage under the name Li XIanglan. She became famous in China. However, once the war was over and she revealed her identity, she was accused of being a spy and she was deported back to Japan and didn't go back to China for many years, as it was forbidden at that time. Ms Yamaguchi did return to China in her later years as the Japanese Parliamentary Vice Minister of Environment. This song is saying goodbye to her Chinese name Li Xianglan. The song is a metaphor, as lyrics speak of how a person has to hide what feels inside.
💖LYRICS IN BOTH SONGS 🎶 ARE EVERYTHING 💝 Autumn Strong 🇨🇳 & lkanaide 🇯🇵 There’s a historic backstory 🥺China WWII Japan😢💙 This older performance of Dimash in China’s “I’m a singer” competition. He learned Chinese in a week. 🇨🇳 Then he’s learned Japanese and sings the original version for Japan. 🇯🇵 This puts his language count at 13 at the time of this recording 💿 His HONOR is showing again‼️🤗 Dimash’s “Autumn Strong”🇨🇳 “BACKSTORY”👀 with subtitles th-cam.com/video/FXQ58U-Eddg/w-d-xo.html Dimash’s “Ikanaide” 🇯🇵 With subtitles th-cam.com/video/8mM-bp5PB34/w-d-xo.html KOJI TAMAKI - IKANAIDE🇯🇵 ORIGINAL SONG with Subtitles th-cam.com/video/2j3ab7cu_30/w-d-xo.html I love how he’s blended the🇯🇵&🇨🇳 songs together with the warble in the beginning’s, and the vocalizing “Her” at the ending’s 🥺😥 The song writer 🎼 praised Dimash on his getting the “Ah’s” 🎶 so perfectly to what he intended they should convey in each phase👌🎤 “Well It Is Dimash‼️🤣😂💦” I also watched a Japanese reactor comment that the 🇯🇵 language is usually pronounced wrong with a hard consonant sound of most western speakers. He said that it’s different and should be weaker too get it right. He was so impressed with Dimash getting the enunciation correct❤️🇯🇵 “Well It Is Dimash‼️🤣😂💦” ❤️2U&2ALLU❤️🦌🦌💫🌎🇺🇸
This is an amazing performance, although my not less favorite will be always his concert performances, fancams even, perhaps especially fancams that focus on his face the entire time. When he is live in front of the audience his emotions and improvisations and connection to the audience simply kill me. Personally for me nothing beats his live emotions on stage. Also, towards the end of this song in his concert he often removes the microphone and you can hear his voice resonate in the entire venue.
This version "Ikanaide" (行かないで) ) is the original, from 1989, composed by Koji Tamaki (famous Japanese singer, born in 1958) with lyrics by Goro Matsui. The version "Autumn Strong" (Late Autumn), sung in Chinese, uses the same song, but has another lyrics (Yaqui Cheung, from 1993) and another theme: It talks about the Japanese actress Yoshiko Yamagushi, very dear to the Chinese, who was deported when they discovered her Japanese origin (his real name was Li Xiang Lan and we're talking about World War II, where Japan was China's enemy) and never returned to China. In the original version, the lyrics are more intimate, sentimental and more recognized worldwide. It means: "Please don't go!". For those who want to know the original work, just check this video: th-cam.com/video/2j3ab7cu_30/w-d-xo.html
Actually she did return in the 1970s, after the rapprochement between the West and China. Here's a fairly detailed biography of Yoshiko Yamaguchi. She became a Member of Parliament in Japan and a diplomat. There's a photo of her in a group including Zhou Enlai, the PM of China. yoshikoyamaguchi.blogspot.com/p/test.html?fbclid=IwAR3shuZs7TpXmVI54VKYcA4Yk9GBUoBRDYIIRBKCNMah0k7EQtS8Fw1Nop0
Your original post here is a little mixed up...if I may. The actress I believe was born in China but of Japanese heritage. You state her real name as the Chinese one. That's incorrect. She acted in China as a Chinese actress under the Chinese name. Her real name of course, was the Japanese name. In any event, the Chinese loved her until as the war ended, her true heritage was discovered. Most people dont comprehend now or understand the history of the times, the Japanese soilders were extremely brutal to the Chinese during the war, civilians included. As well as allied POWs captured and forced into labor camps until they died. The Chinese people felt betrayed and considered her a spy. She was very lucky to have been allowed to live and was deported. Later on, as emotions cooled, it became apparent that the actress certainly wasnt a spy and had loved China as her only home. So...the story and the song became both a sad love song of parting as well as a song of reflection and regret for the Chinese people for expelling an actress that had meant so much to them. Mark
Great reaction! If you want another song in studio, I suggest Samaltau (version Tokyo Jazz Festival, 2020). This is the song that Dimash considers the most difficult for him, because of the emotional implications. It's important to know the background of the song, about the kazakh men forced to leave their home to fight in World War I.
I love your emotional reactions to Dimash, Maddy, & that beautiful smile makes them even better! Also, I think you might be the first reactor to pronounce the song title correctly, without being coached first by the Dears lol. Do you speak a little Japanese? Words like "magnificent", "stupendous", "incredible", "unbelievable", "tremendous", "monumental", "fabulous", "stunning", "remarkable", etc, etc seem to fall flat when attempting to describe Dimash, don't they? There's really some fantastic talent out there nowadays, but Dimash is THE muical artist of our time!🔥🔥🤯
Did you already react to Qaragym-ai? The man who composed the song died of Covid in the first year of the pandemic. He was Dimash's professor of composition and a dear friend. He performed it as a tribute with only piano accompaniment in a setting where lights replace the audience. Make sure you pick the version where he is seated and wears a dark doublebreasted jacket . Bring tissues.
Hey Maddey, your expressive respond to 'Ikanaide' is nothing short of heart felt Blue written all over your blossoming teenage Face, waiting to become a beautiful Woman like the grace of a Sunflower in the Garden of life itself. Heaven forbid ,'Ikanaide' song will surely to unmask the romantic Woman in you tomorrow.💓
I also recommend Daybreak. There are two versions of this song. But please🙏🙏🙏🙏 react to the version from The Singer competition first. I highly recommend you to watch the version with the story behind on the Gloria Wu channel and then the one from his Bastau concert. It was the 8th performance of this competition. I don’t think there are copyright issues, because the videos on this channel are already edited. I think you will appreciate the Bastau version even more if you’ve seen The Singer version before. As somebody mentioned in a comment, that it is always very frustrating when reactors jump on the Bastau version and don’t know the sad story of this song and don’t even try to activate the subtitles. I can understand that a lot of Dears prefer reactions to this version because it is just incredibly more powerful. In my opinion, however, it loses at bit of its impression, if you don’t know why he sings, the way he sings. This song tells a very sad but true story. You really have to watch this with subtitles. It’s really important to know what the song is about. In the Singer version he was so sick and had a severe sore throat and fever. He lost his voice the night before his performance of Daybreak. I heard him say in an interview that it was very painful throughout the song, that his throat feels like shredded glass but he didn’t want to disappoint the people who stand behind him and so he pulled himself together and went on stage. He got 5 injections from this doctor in the hospital. And the doctor told him not to sing high notes. You can see how concerned the other competitors were and they suffered with him. They knew he was not doing well and one of them even gave him a very expensive Chinese medicine from his own inventory. The problem was his busy schedule between the performances and he didn’t have enough time to recover. He made very good friends there and many friendships still exist today. After the performance he lost his voice again. It’s unbelievable how he always manages to convey emotions to such a degree. Though I think in this one particular version the emotions he shows are mostly concern about his voice keeping up with the song and the pain he must have been in doing it. The Bastau version (no sore throat) of Daybreak is phenomenal and mind-blowing. So emotional and heartbreaking. Maybe you can do both together. Many reactors do and so you can see the difference between this two performances. In both versions I always cry my eyes out. I don’t know why I have to cry more. Because of the story or the fact, that he was in such pain and performed anyway because he didn’t want to disappoint the audience. Both version were in the same year 2017. Gloria Wu: th-cam.com/video/uXGF7vgEYKk/w-d-xo.html However the video has a dropout towards the end. So don’t panic. Nothing is broken😁 Bastau version: th-cam.com/video/2kZTJjLoD64/w-d-xo.html Please first The Singer then the Bastau version🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏. Or both together😉 Greetings and love from Germany👋❤️
Breathtaking song. The original by Koji Tamaki is wonderful and very emotional but Dimash's version is just awesome. No one transfers emotions like Dimash. OmG!
Me too my favorite- it’s scaled down, slowed down, very beautiful song, Don’t speak Japanese but cool hearing him sing in this language and the live .Chinese version too. The way he performs this he nails it. The story behind this one is amazing too.probably one of the prettiest and most passionate of his many performances ❤❤❤
Thank you so much. I enjoyed watching and listening to your reaction. In fact, I come back and do so quite often with this one. All the best wishes from an American now living in Japan.
For another intimate setting, Samaltau- Tokyo Jazz Festival is another great song.
Thank you for your reaction.
This is crazy. Also my favorite. Please do the Emei Mountain Festival. It’s so telling how he cares for his fans. To not cancel and sing outside with pouring rain.
Great reaction to one of my favorite Dimash performances. Simply stunning !!!
Samaltau at Tokyo jazz festival will blow your mind. Keep up the great reactions!
He is beautiful in every way.
Not just outwardly, but his heart seems good.
Loving, moral, honorable, giving, patient...
Magnificent voice and performance. Bravo bravo bravo Dimadh. The worlds best singer and most loved by his dears ❤❤❤❤
Sings directly to your soul
YES!
This is a most beautiful song sung beautifully
Да🥰💖🙏
I agree!
Absolutely Beautiful Great Reaction I have to see him perform live.❤❤❤❤
You really must at least once in your lifetime. I had the opportunity to see him live in concert in Dusseldorf, Almaty and recently Kuala Lumpur. He is out of this world. I have seen many performers live in my lifetime from Ella Fitzgelrd, Streisand, Paul McCartney, Michael Jackson, Tina Turner, Bruse Springsteen, Pavarotti to Queen but no one comes close to Dimash.
Im glad to have lived this long to see an exceptional and unique artist such as he.
Beautiful reaction young lady, Dimash ,,,, just WOW !
Super reaction. Dimash super. 👏👍😘🇰🇿🙋♂️
Thanks for your beautiful reaction ❤
My pleasure 😊
dimash is the best i always end up crying w his songs. i recommend u do love is likw a dream slavic2021
I concur
Con Dimash escalofríos y lágrimas con esta interpretación. Gran reacción
Here are the original lyrics to "Ikanaide":
Ikanaide (ee-kanaa-eedayy) Please Don't Go Away by Koji Tamaki
Nothing visible, nothing
I have been crying throughout
Not because I feel sorrowful
But because of the delight of feeling your warmth
Ah… Please don't go away, please don't go away
Please don't ever ever let us separate
Ah… Please don't go away, please don't go away
Let's remain this way
Someday your heart will be somewhere afar
That everything will turn into memory
Though it's better not to know
Though it's better not to know
Ah… Please don't go away, please don't go away
Whenever it is, don't let us separate
Ah… Please don't go away, please don't go away
Let's remain this way
An extraordinary song in music and lyrics. An emotionally overwhelming performance. A sublime, unique, incomparable voice. Thank you for sharing your emotions and the art of music with us. From Argentina affectionate greetings and successes.🌹🍀
Of course! ☺️
Thanks for the reaction ❤
No problem 😊

Thanks so much! Yes I loved this one
@@MaddyReactions Thanks for the reply,. Great reaction by the way, when your eyes started to well up so did mine. Dimash feels everything he sings and makes you feel what he feels, you don't have to know the language, you can't help but be moved. It's his "super power". Take care.
И мой фаворит ❤🥰😍😍😍🙏🙏🙏💖
Samaltau also from the same Tokio Festival, but first read the story behind the song, it will add a lot to experience
Dimash Unplugged concert would be great.
You might love “Love is like a dream” not intimate setting but very intimate performance. Gorgeous. Try it.
Great ☺️
There’s another video with same setting.
Thank you so much for a beautiful reaction to this beautiful song 👍❤
Hugs 🤗
❤ your not alone in this....its possibly my favorite one thus far. 👏 👏 👏
Oh God Almighty, thank you for giving such a voice to our Kazakh.. This song performed by Dimash is a masterpiece that no one has sung it so intensely ❤❤❤
I loved this one so much!
In 2020 Dimash also participated in the famous annual Tokyo Online Festival with 2 songs:
* S.O.S. - th-cam.com/video/WdKYDoqKLP8/w-d-xo.html
* Samaltau - th-cam.com/video/cEyLyKW-gWY/w-d-xo.html
The sad true story of this song... very touching: It is about Yoshiko Yamaguchi (*1920-2014), a Chinese-born Japanese actress during World War II.
He wrote many wonderful melodies - you should check it out:
Koji Tamaki 2021, Ikanaide - th-cam.com/video/OpgnM2MccCQ/w-d-xo.html
Dimash's Japan Fan Club asked the famous Japanese author of 'Ikanaide' Goro Matsui about his emotions at Dimash performance. It's one of his favorite songs:
"… I heard Dimash singing "Ikanaide" by accident. "
In 1993, Jacky Cheung (*1961, singer and actor in Hongkong) adapted the song into Chinese Mandarin, calling it Late Autumn: th-cam.com/video/dtM2EsgHD3M/w-d-xo.html
The Chinese (Autuumn Strong) and Japanese (Ikanaide/ Please, Don’t Go) versions have completely different lyrics and meanings… and of course Dimash sings both very differently. Both are based on a same true story.
The Chinese version shows the image of leaves dancing in the autumn wind as a metaphor for how fate affected Yoshiko Yamaguchi's life. ...sad but inevitable and irrevocably
The Japanese version does not want to accept the loss, is full of pain, pleads, suffers ... heartbreaking.
* The most famous interpretation In China (first performance at the Singer 2017) was that of Dimash Qudaibergen and it was his first time to sing in Chinese mandarin: Autuumn Strong - th-cam.com/video/Kmi2cVijdMo/w-d-xo.html
This song brought Dimash the 'Best Foreign Singer' award at the Golden Melody Award 2017 (equivalent to the Grammy) in Hong Kong.
* Great performance (Chinese version) of Dimash from Kiev 11.03.2020, the last concert before Corona paralyzed everything: Autumn Strong - th-cam.com/video/437IEsDIZfE/w-d-xo.html
* Other version of Dimash: In Moscow on March, 2019 - Autumn Strong - th-cam.com/video/-ewR8Boc21I/w-d-xo.html

Amanat is one of my favourite soft songs by Dimash. From the digital show. He sits on the floor and sings a song that is like a lullaby to his homeland.
It wasn't on the DDS, although probably recorded at the same time and place. An amazing performance.
@@DiaLinwen Really? I could have sworn that was the first time I saw the song.
@@melbrod3868 Mo, it wasn't included in the online concert. It was first presented on a Kazakh TV channel during a national holiday, Nowruz I believe.
this and one he did when he was on the singing contest in 2017 are awesome this one was sung in Japanese ..( a new language he is using) and the other was sung in perfect Mandarin .. so much so that when native Mandarin speakers listen to it they thought he was a native speaker. it just shows the dedication he puts into every song he sings .. the other song was Autum Strong
Glad you liked it 😊
Yes, it really was beautiful!
Потрясающее исполнение!
I agree, this has become my favorite song by Dimash.
...... it's normal to be in love with Dimash after seeing performances like this.... and I say this as a straight man hehehehehe.😆😆😆
In itself this is already a very sad song for the subject matter.... (I'm sure some of my "Dear" brothers or sisters will have already explained to you in the comments, so I'll spare you the repetition)
so don't be ashamed to cry (By the way I saw you cry in "The story of one Sky" and you are beautiful even when you cry if I may say so).
And anyway crying washes the soul!😇
As always, thanks for your reactions to our beloved Kazakh Prince is a greeting from the Italian "Dear".🙂🫂🖐🖐

Hola desde Costa Rica 🇨🇷…Dimash me devolvió la buena música y mis días están llenos de magia ❤
I agree!!!
Magnificent and moving version in Japanese, Dimash is full of emotions, he is stunning ❤❤❤

It's also one of my favorites from him !!!
Dimash - Autumn Strong‼️💥
I love your face I love your smile more so when you cry it's so natural but Dimash makes grown men cry he puts so much effort into his songs and his music check out the song Daybreak it's a true story about a tragedy again you will cry it's touching. All the same I love your reactions I am a fan for life.
💖💖💖 thank you ☺️
Ikanaide means 'don't go' and has a sad but true backstory. If you want to know about it, all you have to do is react to Autumn Strong from Gloria Wu channel with backstory. It’s the same song but here he sings this song in Mandarin with slightly different lyrics. Or I'm sure another Dear will explain the story😅.
Autumn Strong: th-cam.com/video/FXQ58U-Eddg/w-d-xo.html
Ikanaide (the original) was written by the Japanese singer Koji Tamaki in 1989.

He has a couple songs in this setting, all of them are outstanding if you like the atmosphere of this one.

The song writer 🎼 praised Dimash on his getting the “Ah’s” 🎶 so perfectly to what he intended they should convey in each phase👌🎤
“Well It Is Dimash‼️🤣😂💦”
I also watched a Japanese reactor comment that the 🇯🇵 language is usually pronounced wrong with a hard consonant sound of most western speakers. He said that it’s different and should be weaker too get it right. He was so impressed with Dimash getting the enunciation correct❤️🇯🇵

There's really some fantastic talent out there nowadays, but Dimash is THE muical artist of our time!🔥🔥🤯
I can speak a small amount of Japanese! ☺️
@@MaddyReactionsI thought so!😊
Did you already react to Qaragym-ai? The man who composed the song died of Covid in the first year of the pandemic. He was Dimash's professor of composition and a dear friend.
He performed it as a tribute with only piano accompaniment in a setting where lights replace the audience. Make sure you pick the version where he is seated and wears a dark doublebreasted jacket .
Bring tissues.
Stunning ❤❤❤
Dimash, eres el artista hecho PERFECCIÓN, no eres de este planeta. 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Samaltau from Tokyo Jazz Festival. It was filmed in his home studio during the pandemic. Intimate and gorgeous!

Gloria Wu: th-cam.com/video/uXGF7vgEYKk/w-d-xo.html
However the video has a dropout towards the end. So don’t panic. Nothing is broken😁
Bastau version: th-cam.com/video/2kZTJjLoD64/w-d-xo.html
Please first The Singer then the Bastau version🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏. Or both together😉
