This is dope Andy. I'm waiting for the Sony Xperia Pro-I ii. I'm hoping Sony uses the full size of the 1" sensor and add the telephoto from the IV to it. That would be the complete phone for me.
If this is the current tech with phones...I can't imagine what we can do in another 5 years! Lugging around so much gear when you travel can be such a chore, not to mention it can be thousands of dollars worth of precious gear that you constantly have to worry about. To have these kick-ass video phones in hand (literally) I'm all opened for that! Thanks for showing us the possibilities of portable filmmaking! You Rock Bro!
I got the same phone and love it. People are worried because of the over heating issues but it doesn't bother me at all. It's the best phone I ever owned. You did an amazing job with your cinematography
people get overheat due to they turn every features ON. HDR, eye AF, facedetection, 4K 120FPS for all scenes.. only people who know how to use the manual mode properly will know how to handle it..

Pretty sure this video just cost me $1600. :) I'm assuming you are giving the phone a green light to purchase. So much has been discussed in regards to overheating.Vietnam can get super hot, yet you were able to film some awesome shots. Any problems or annoyances. Also good to know I can use the DJI OsMO 4 with the Xperia 1 IV. Also...Go A's!

can you make a single shot with the physical shutter button in the standard photo app while having burst mode on? it always takes 2 photo's this way on my xperia 5ii and makes a new map of it on the phone, very annoying, i hope they just make like half sec delay or so when you push the physical shutter button before it jumps so quick into burst shot. this way you easely and fastly have both options in a frame of a second.
Can I ask which filter do you use on cinema pro? Do you color correct in post production? I feel the N/A filter option is horrible and too saturated. Venice is clearly the best one but it is indeed an HDR that needs further tweaking. What do you suggest?

this guy didnt mention the issue we have all been hearing. overheating issues. also when memory card was used or was it internal only. plus many other items he left. out. not worth the watch to learn about the phone. didn't learn anything important here.

It never overheated on me but I did get the notification once but I think it’s because I was in peak humid Vietnam. Glad you enjoyed this!

I use Final Cut Pro X on my MacBook. This edit took about 3-4 days to complete 😅
