- This video captures the features of the small rural township of Yanac. Once a vibrant farming town, this town/region is where I was raised as a child. My parents, grandparents and even some great-grandparents lived in this region. It is, for me, a place of many amazing childhood memories.
It was great fun having my father narrate this video. I hope you enjoy watching this video as much as I did making it.

In my haste to make this video available, I overlooked the fact that my great-great-grandfather, Jesse Judd, also lived in the Yanac district for a period of time before returning to England. So that means that five generations of my immediate family lived in the Yanac region.
Great video Mark, and great to hear Max narrate.. Brought back many memories, shooting pigeons at the silo, Mr Sinclair's store (buying lollies) and down the pit in Barrass's garage.
Delightful video. I was in Yanac just over a fortnight ago, during the Easter break, so it was great to have a local take me through the town, even virtually. The railway alignment is still there [except for the CFA shed], and it was a bit surprising it hadn't been pushed through to Broughton. I look forward to making a return visit.

We also have 1 of the Old Yanac Train building's on our property , which was used as the station house for incoming and outgoing paperwork for the Trains
That's amazing. The buildings weren't around during my days at Yanac, at least I can remember.
