@@MindfulMidlife my hair has responded nicely, but that being said I am letting my blonde grow out no longer colouring my hair and trying to be easier on my hair. 55 and retired has changed my world. My hair takes a beating from diabetes meds as well. I use castor for eyebrows, and a mixture with a carrier like coconut oil too on my hair. Be light as it does weigh it down. I'm so glad you reviewed Briogio. I was tempted but it's too pricey. My current favorite shampoo is
Extra Strength Argan Oil of Morocco (turquoise bottle). It's not expensive, smells great and leaves your hair soft and shiny. I use an inexpensive conditioner on the mid-shaft of my hair down to the ends. Thanks, Bobbi!

I cannot begin to tell you how much I love that side hair clip!! (They call it a bear claw clip.) I just received mine from Amazon. This is the answer to my prayers!! I am very short so the back of my head hits towards the bottom of the headrest. No matter how high up on my head I would put the clip it would hit on the headrest unless I put it all the way on top of my head which looked totally stupid! This clip is sooooo comfortable!!! Thank you so much for sharing!! I will never use another kind!

If you do like the Briogeo Scalp Revival (which I do like to use occasionally to get a deep cleanse), Walmart’s Equate brand has a great dupe for $7 called Scalp Care Exfoliating & Detoxifying Shampoo w Charcoal & Tea Tree. It is gritty & refreshing, and I love it. Also, Bed Head “Manipulator Texturizer” is like a thin putty and has that same stringy-fiber component as Raise the Roots. It works really well on my thick hair and a little goes a long way to add texture, define curls, and reduce frizz. 🥰

Olaplex shampoo and conditioner works exceptionally! I have fine, color treated hair with blonde highlights. It is slightly wavy and dries with frizzy. Olaplex transformed my hair. I have tried all brands low price to higher priced. I have stopped trying different products. Worth the investment . I live in San Antonio, weather is usually hot and humid.
