AMEN Lisa!!! No matter how many times I think I’m going to “up my game” and go high end; (and spend a small fortune in doing so…..) guess what happens. I end up just going around it, leaving it in the drawer, and still just using Cover Girl every day. So…no more spending money like that. It’s ridiculous. Im a Cover Girl gal; and thats that! ☺️

I quit buying "high end" makeup a few years ago. Once I learned L'Oreal owned several high end name brands, I figured I could wait a year from the release of the high end product to see it in the drug store and get it then. More than likely, it's the same formula just packaged in a drug store bottle and that's why everyone can call it a "dupe". Also too, the drug store is always running a BOGO or BuyTwoGetOneFree sale AND I can use the store app and clip a digital coupon on top of the sale price to get even more savings. With the cost of living these days, makes no sense to buy high end anymore. 💄💋

I think your lashes look amazing! Love that you're focusing on finding the best of the make-up on 'that' side of the store for us. Most of us can't afford the other side and even the drug store side is getting too pricey for many!
No kidding! I'm from Canada with Canadian prices. Just today I was between Walmart and Shopper's looking for L'oreal Lumi Glotion. Upwards of $23!! That said, drugstore brands *are* kind of stepping up their game. But still. I'd almost rather pay the extra for a Sephora brand and earn loyalty points!

Oh girl you always make me laugh. Just wanted to let you know for the mascara, you use the flat side first to deposit and then flip to the side with the comb to distribute and separate. So good to hear that you will be focusing on drugstore cosmetics.

Just find a good eyeshadow that matches your brows and if you have a good firm angle brow brush thin just use the pigmented eyeshadows you already have i do and if you want it to ne more defined like a pomade spritz the shadow on your brush then you can feather brow hairs with it too 🥰

I loved the Sephora brow powder in medium brown but it seems that it is no longer available so I've tried a few things: gels, pomades, eyeshadow, etc. I finally found something on Amazon I like by Palladio in soft brown. It's a great shade on me (not too red - a nice neutral brown) plus it's drugstore priced @ $7.99. I apply the powder then brush through before using a brow gel to give definition to individual hairs. Looking forward to trying the colored NYX brow glue (I love the clear). Thanks Bobbi!!

The new Loreal mascara reminds me so much of the Covergirl Super Sizer mascara, which they don't make anymore. I could never figure out how to make it work. When I used the flat side, too much would come off and make my lashes stick together. I could never get the comb side to separate the lashes and give them any length. I think I will pass on that one. Your makeup looks great!
That is exactly how I feel. I have used a few times since the video, but way too much work.

I had eyebrow powder called Browz in dark blond which was amazing which I can no longer find 😞Currently using light brunette L'Oreal Brow Stylist Frame and Set ($14-$16 CAN) - it's a cream pomade in a jar comes with a brush&spoolie. Not super excited about it but it's doing the job, when I apply, sometimes it produces tiny specs (maybe I'm putting too much on or pressing too hard) - would also prefer dark blond but making it work for now until you show me what you've tried 😉I occasionally use L'Oreal Brow Stylist Definer (blond) & Wow brow (because of you!) What ever works for a good price!

I used to buy some high end brands but always end up not wanting to use it because it’s so “precious” like the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter. I’ve completely stopped buying high end because I want makeup to use and especially in this economy. Drugstore has went up but high end has went crazy!! $68 for a small eyeshadow palette?? Heck naw!! I’m only doing drugstore now!!
Hey Bobbi! When I want a more subtle powdery look to my eyebrows, I alternate between Essence Contouring Powder Duo in Lighter and Sephora Collection Pressed Powder in Second Chance. These both are intended to be contouring powders, but they are perfect Ash Browns for my dark blonde brows. The Sephora is a bit cooler in tone, and a bit more expensive, but still "drugstore" pricing for a huge pan of product. The Essence also has a vanilla-cream shade powder which is good for underlining your brows; makes them stand out without being shimmery or too bright. Try them! Love the video today! And I'd love to see how the Revolution eyeshadows last for you - I've tried a more mauvey palette with three different primers underneath, and those shadows just disappear after a few hours. I did so want the palette to work, but...*edit: Correct names, exactly as shown on compact cases: Essence Contouring Duo Palette in 10 - Lighter Skin, and Sephora Colorful contour in Second Chance No. 35.

I lived in Colorado for a fall, winter and spring. There was a lot of snow, and I loved every minute of it. I grew up near Chicago, so snow is part of me. Pennsylvania can get a decent amount of snow sometimes but we can also have an entire winter with no snow - completely frustrating for me.

I would encourage you to look at your eye shadow palettes to use for your brows. It's basically the same product as brow powder and if you have a long staying eye shadow that you like, it's a good way to use some of the darker colors that you don't usually use on your eyelids. I do this all the time. I have such a hard time finding eye products that don't bother my sensitive skin so I only use eye shadows for my brows and instead of eyeliner.

I went to Sephora looking for a pink blush in a small package. I need it for travel. I was about to buy Dior shade 1. But they did not have it. So, I went to CVS and bought Cheekers in Rose Classique. I also wanted a rose shimmery eye shadow and picked up Revlon Colorstay Day to Night in #575. A beautiful quad.

I will take it! I grew up in Illinois and we had SNOW! Here in PA, we sometimes get snow, but mostly it's just brown and drab - ho hum!
It is not a drugstore brand, but I use the Madison Reed powder for my eyebrows. Also covers grays in my hair. Lasts forever! That is how I justify the price.
Arches and halos eyebrow powder is my favorite. I order it on Amazon.

I asked for the Beakey sponge for Christmas and really like it! Maybelline makes a clear lip liner that another beauty YTer uses but I couldn't figure out how to make it work. You always look pretty, but your skin normally looks a bit more glowy & healthy than it did with the blur foundation. Thanks for the reviews!
Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of the matte, but I have tried it a few times again with the ELF Halo Glow under it - Wow...what a difference!

I love the flat sided Beakey sponge too. My only problem with it is that it doesn’t last long. I wash it a lot and it seems to crack and rip pretty quickly. I try not to be to rough with it, but to get it really clean you have squeeze it pretty hard.
I haven't noticed it not lasting long - hmmm, maybe I should clean mine more 😬😂.
I hardly have any drugstore makeup. Reason being, is I can't try it on🤔. Wish they had testers. Although that's where Ulta comes in handy. I have really tried with mascaras, but have yet to find one at the drugstore. I did take your advice awhile back and bought the ELF wow brow. I liked that. So I may try the one you showed today, your fave. Bobbie you don't look like you even need concealer! Lucky.
Yes, that is an issue, but I have no problem returning something if it's completely off. I know that's now always an option. BTW...I like your new photo! So pretty!

Sometimes I think "blur" is just marketing, but I do think this did blur a bit. I paired this with the elf Halo Glow and it made it sooo much better. Thanks Kelly!
The problem I have with the Ultra drug store side is that it is not cleared up. The displays are a mess with large gaps in the displays. Not inviting!!
Ulta is not a drugstore.

The color actually looks great! But as far as the foundation “grabbing the dry” , do you use a moisturizer before putting on your foundation?
Yes, about 30 minutes before I filmed. I've used it a few times now and I actually do like it, but I put the elf Halo Glow under it and WOW...sooo much better.
For a brow powder try shop miss a it's a dollar. The AOA line has a dual powder for $1.55. I like brow powder. I am lucky enough to live close to a shop miss a store. I enjoy your videos. Thanks

When I think of drugstore makeup I think of Walgreen's. That's where I usually buy my makeup.
Walgreen has a great selection of makeup! Way better than my CVS.
Non of elfs brow gel type products are very good i have tried the clear mascara and brow gel doesn't hold your brows in place at all the wow brow colours them and makes them look thicker but no hold the brow freeze type one doesn't dry down stays sticky and looks like its working to start off with then ping they all go back to hoe they were the only thing thats cheap that holds my brows with no effort i wake up like it is the lash and brow perming kits from Amazon i laminate my brows every six weeks i run a spooly through them and they stay stuck up exactly the shape i permed them in its so good it will lighten the colour of your brows so i use diva brow brow dye afterwards too and i barely neec to touch my brows at all fine brow pen or pencil where I have sparse areas and its done and stays all day
I like the new Milani powder. It’s getting mixed reviews, some love it, some say it has flashback (which doesn’t matter to me) and is too dark for fair skin.
