What a thorough, concise bit of brow education! I’ve watched dozens of videos and taken a class at Sephora about doing brows, and I learned more from this video than any of the above. Thanks!
Your brows are beautiful, Bobbie! I, too, have one brow that has less of an arch than the other, one has more hair than the other, etc. 🤦🏼♀ But with your great tips, maybe I can get them looking more like sisters and less like strangers! 😂 Thanks!
Such a great tutorial! I have such a hard time with my eyebrows! I’m a product of the 90’s and overplucked them and I’ve tried ever since to grow them back lol.. Thank you so much for sharing this and have a wonderful evening!
Hello Bobbie, my name is Lidia and I’m just turned 50 years old, and I was watching the TH-cam videos and yours caught my attention and started watching it, and I really liked it, because yours tips of beauty and makeup are really good and interesting. I have dry and sensitive skin, and I don’t really like to use much makeup but I like to take care my skin and look natural when I use makeup, I really like every tip that you give to look beautiful and natural and some of the makeup that you use and recommend are not that expensive but their good. So Thank you so much
Thank you 🙏 so much. Your tutorial was the best I’ve seen. I’m 61 and yep was one of those young ladies that over plucked. And now have very very sparse eyebrows and on top of that; I’m a natural blonde and eyebrows( what little I have) are blonde abs gray. I can’t wait to use your method in the am. All the ones I’ve watched they tell you to start at the bottom after u brush ur brows upward. It makes so much more sense the way you demonstrated it. Wish me luck. LOL And NYX eyebrow pencils not working for me so I’ve been loving the Benifit pencil and Gel.
Yeah over teased them and now making a deliberate and cautious intent of learning how to make it work. I even keep a little tweezer-like the one you have in the coin purse of my very small crossbody bag. This helps too with those awful hairs that grow out under the chin or neckline. Sometimes just waiting for a teen to get out of school light is perfect and a bit of care. Never thought of the using scissors. I have just started using a “brow shaver” or “face shaver” to get peach fuzz too off the face. This video I will be keeping and playing over and over for sure.
Great tutorial!! I’ve never seen such a great brow look explained. These multi tips and products will definitely help to improve my sparse 60 something brows!🙏🏼KK
Thank you for your help! My eyebrows are thin and invisible, plus they both stick up. They are not fun at all! When they stick out too much, I just pull them out. That's the only way I can get them looking halfway decent. I appreciate your honesty and the great tips. I really enjoy watching your channel! Plus, you're a lot of fun!
Thanks for the video! I use NYX Taupe and espresso. I place taupe on inner 1/3 brow and Espresso on the rest of brow. It blends and prevents heavy “angry bird” brow.
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I have one brow that has lost a lot of hairs. One brow is higher than the other and one is closer to the center of my face than the other one. I tried the techniques you showed and they look better already. I will continue to practice.
thank you Bobbie, my eyebrows seem to have different personalities and are almost transparent ! I hope your tutorial will help me, I'll find out tomorrow morning LOL You are so much fun to watch !
Oddly, among the best tweezers I've purchased were sold at Dollar Tree ten or so years ago. They came in a twin pack, had a well aligned slant tip and were made of lightweight aluminum rather than stiff steel--which fatigues my hand when pinching them. One pair of Tweezerman I luckily got as a gift but they are now pricey at $26.
This is the best video I’ve seen that explains how to do your brows. Great job! I’m so lazy about my brows. After viewing this I plucked a few hairs from underneath my brows and used my brow gel to help cover up the gray. Thanks for motivating me! 😍
You are welcome! Brows are the part I don't like the most AND the part I do like. It's the longest part of my routine, but the part that makes the most difference.
I use the Eyebrowz White stick on my eyebrows, it helps with the hairs that need to be put in place before using a Eyebrow gel or pencil. This product comes in a thin pencil barrel and twists out. It's very easy to use and soft like a eyebrow pencil.
You explained this really well. When you mentioned how you don't want brows to have a shine, I thought that's so true. Good tips and tutorial Bobbie👌 Great timing, being all I see lately are the ads for brow stamps...😬 no thank you.
I didn't see or hear what brand of cotton swabs you use. I've looked online but haven't been able to find any that look like the ones pictured. What I find are very soft tipped swabs. Can you point me to where I might buy or the brand?
I’m 58 and naturally blonde so my eyebrows don’t even look like they exist because they are so light… not to mention that they are thinning out as I age. It’s difficult to get a natural look because of how light my color is but I’m going to try the Sigma brow powder in light. Hopefully, with your tips, I’ll get a natural look. Thanks for the lesson!
I’m with you sis. I’m a fair skinned strawberry blonde and have very pale brows. I’ve had a time trying to find a brow color that looks natural and not freakish.
I have natural brown hair but I get some pure white thick eyebrow hairs. I used to pluck them but I didn't want to be so sparse, so I just cut them shorter than the rest to try to hide the appearance as much as I can. Do you have any suggestion for a product that will cover the pure white thick coarse hairs? The only thing that seems to work for me is the cutting short, and then put something like sunscreen or lotion on, and then use a powder so it adheres to the lotion on the eyebrow hairs. Brow gel for me just makes them look unnaturally thick (and more space) and still does not adhere to the white hairs very much.
You may want to try brow dye. I tried one a couple years ago. I did a video on it. It actually worked. The video is silly, but you can at least see it in action. Here's the link: th-cam.com/video/exL5WKMoGpI/w-d-xo.html
Do you shave your face? I do and it’s a game changer for us older gals. It help with texture and it makes your foundation look so much soother. I think you should try it I think you will love it. I promise once you try it you will fall in love with how your foundation and skin looks. Plus I think where it exfoliates off that dead skin your skincare penetrates your sin more. You should try it and do a video on it. It doesn’t make your hair grow back thinker or darker. It’s just removing the peach fuzz and dead skin. Please do a video on it. Research it first if you want and please do a educated video on it.
I feel like when I cut my eyebrows hairs, they stick off my face 😭. What mirror do you use? I cannot see my face anymore lol, and a lot of my eyebrow hairs are sooo light. I'm 49
I’m a natural redhead, and my brows are almost clear in color. I have a very hard time finding a brow product that is the right color. Very cool colors don’t look good, some colors are just too dark, etc. Anybody else?
This is a great brow tutorial thank you for sharing Bobbie! Thought I would ask a question to you and your followers considering it's related to eyebrows. About 6-8 weeks ago I started getting red bumps in my eyebrows, they look like tiny pimples. I'm 55, dry skin with mild Rosacea on cheeks & middle of eyebrows (which is more apparent than on the cheeks). I'm in Canada, I would have to see my GP to get a referral to dermatologist and patiently wait for appts. Just asking if anyone has heard, seen or experienced this, it's a first for me and can't seem to heal it. I'm not sure what the cause is either. Thanks!
I haven't had that. It could be any number of things. I would start eliminating things you are using and see if it helps, but you should go see your dermatologist as well.
I would find a brow gel that matched my hair color as close as possible. You also might try dyeing your brow hair. There are DIY kits on Amazon - look for good reviews. Having said all that...if you like how your brow hair looks than don't do anything. You are the one you need to please - nobody else!
@@MindfulMidlife thank you! The tips you gave me are great! The thing is, my brows are so light,it looks like i dont have any! I have been thinking of dying them! That may be the easiest way, since you dnt have to mess with them everyday! If i do it,i will let you know! Thanks again!
I have very pale brows and I can’t even see them to pluck them 😂. I’m a fair skinned strawberry blonde and have a the hardest time finding a brow color that suits me. I usually just end up going without (I know!). When I use a brow color I feel like I look freakish because it’s such a dramatic difference than how I look naturally. 🫤
Pamela, please watch this video: th-cam.com/video/1xuwex72inY/w-d-xo.html , it will really help in tweezing your pale brows. Maybe you should just start with a brow gel that you comb into your brows. After you get used to that look then maybe try filling-in sparse areas with a pencil.
@@MindfulMidlife Thanks. I am 53 years old have never tweezed my brows. No joke! I’m a little reluctant start because I don’t want to mess with maintaining it. Lol
Finally an eyebrow I actually think I can do, tips I never heard before. Thanks
Excellent! I needed this step-by-step tutorial! I've been using a stencil but rushing it and your method looks so much better! Thanks bunches!🤗

Bobbie I absolutely love all of your videos !!! U are so genuine and you allow GOD to shine through you !! Sooo blessed I found your channel!!

Oh you give great advice. Brows are always a struggle.

I've been using stencils and stampers recently. I've just gone back to pencil with powder too. Also drawing mine freehand.

Thank you for saying tweezed and not plucked! As my cosmetology instructor said 40 years ago. "You tweeze your eyebrows. You plucked a chicken." Haha!

Do you use a lighted mirror? Magnified or just normal?
Thank you for your wonderful teaching style!
Here's the mirror I use (Note: affiliate link): amzn.to/3AOPxR3
Which color of the kokie eyeliner do you use as the colors are so limited.
Omg I recently found your videos and I love how you explain and your approach is very refreshing! Thank you! My eyebrows are also distant cousins 😂
Thank you Lissette! 💕
