Hi Rob (and congratulations👏🏻 for your very useful channel, which I discovered by chance a few days ago).
This time though I don't agree with your suggestions😜! As @math_keto_office has already pointed out, exporting directly to TH-cam is a great tip, precisely because if you have divided the entire video into markers, not only have you neatly reported the timestamps in the video description, but (great thing!) you also have the subdivision of the video itself on YT in skippable sections.
If you export all this work to MP4 you have to do it from scratch, wasting a lot of time!

Looks like I'm going to have to try the automatic method! I've just never done it that way. Does it also create a local copy of the mp4 file? I like to keep a local copy of it stored in my archives as well. Looks like I'm learning something new this week! Thanks for sharing :-)

​@@RobtheMaritimer No, at least on Mac😉, I don't see local copies after export, BUT it's also true that from TH-cam Studio, once the video is online, you can simply select your video and then click to download😉

I export directly to TH-cam so it creates table of contents links and captions at the same time.

Hi Rob, I'm on Mac Studio Max 32 GB ram and 1TB SSD, my new 2024.0.1 release stopping Export MP4 movie always at 95% and only can abort. Any tip or Help? Thanks

Is it a long video? What resolution are you trying to export at... 4K? If so, try exporting at a lower resolution and see if it exports then. You could also try to create proxy videos of any video footage first and then try exporting? I know those aren't fixes... just some ideas to try to isolate the problem. You're probably better off contacting Techsmith support and see if they can properly diagnose the problem. Sounds like your computer should be more than capable.

@@RobtheMaritimer Hi Rob, just to inform you that the same project that freeze during export with the 2024 release works fine in
2023 release. It can also be useful to the community of Camtasia enthusiasts.
