Absolutely! I went through my subscription for the same reason. Some of the makeup techniques of influencers have gone to the extreme which looks like a mask. Others have very poor understanding of health with their recommendations.

They have budget friendly for makeup for years but I never really considered their skin care because I figured it would be so watered down or lacking in actives or quality ingredients. The first video I found of Renee's was about cleanser pH and that is where it all started for me, building a skincare routine that suits my skin. I'm so happy to hear you talk about the elf hydrating water essence. I got it on a whim months ago because it was super cheap ($7) at my local CVS and I don't even use elf products. It wasn't until I watched your 7 skin method that I gave it a try and boy, am I pleasantly surprised!

I tried the faceshop Rich Rice cleansing oil and detested it!! It felt like a dry oil to me - very thin - and it made my eyes burn. Also felt like I had to use more than one pump to get my makeup and sunscreen to melt off...maybe because it did feel so thin. I much prefer the hada labo cleansing oil. It feels so thicc and luxurious and you only need one pump....and it has no fragrance (that I can tell) and does not make my eyes burn painfully!! I regret buying the face shop oil, but I know it is very popular. I've used about half the bottle now....I'm trying to use it up because I hate to waste money, I just try to keep it away from my eyes....it's very unpleasant to use. I'll be relieved when it's all gone. Anyway, I am intrigued by the other cleanser suggestions. Might have to try some out.

Thank you sooo much! I just tried the e.l.f. brand skin care line. My skin looks and feel amazing! I have normal to dry skin . These are the e.l.f. products I used : Daily Face Cleanser Exfoliating Scrub Daily Hydration Moisturizer Hydrating Serum Hydrating Water Essence Hydrating Water Sheet Mask I used olive oil as my oil cleanser and Dickinson’s Toner. My routine before was warm water and then Shea butter. Thanks for showing me options !

You've helped me with my research and I feel like I've been smart with my purchases since you recommend products with quality ingredients within a wide range of price points. And while my skin is definitely thanking me, my wallet has been telling me to slow down a bit lol My routine is pretty solid now so I don't intend on buying any high-ticket items anytime soon, but I have been on the hunt for a natural ingredients first step cleansing balm lately, so I was really excited when you mentioned the yes to coconuts one! This is a fantastic video! It's always fun to go down the "expensive" brands, however you have more or less uncovered and presented here a treasure trove of bargains! Expensive doesn't always equate to effective! I must also add - your nails are absolutely fab!

So grateful that you are doing this and also that you are so clear about needs for diffrent skintypes though for the first time in My life I Actually have a similar skin and issues as somebody else which is a huge relief ! Again Thank you so much - for me My skin has been activly hurting for years and I finally found some relief in french pharmacy products but its been really hard finding products and being able to follow in your skinsteps has meant the world in what to look for, how to discern and things to try without the Very painful ( literally) mistakes!

I love that you explain the ingredients and how they work. I'm on an extremely tight budget atm and I'm happy to know that I can afford to take care of my skin. I'm in my mid-thirties so I can't get away with washing my face with Dove beauty bar and putting just a cheap (in ingredients) moisturizer on like when I was younger.
