  • Whoa, check out this mighty light from Mars Hydro! The FC-3000 is a great LED grow light for a 3x3 grow tent or other smaller spaces but it packs a punch. You will be growing a luscious indoor garden whether you are an experienced gardener or a beginner grower. We do a Par Test to see what kind of light levels it puts out at various heights and power selection.

I guess good things do come in small packages! Check out the FC-3000 by Mars Hyrdo as we cover some specs and a par test on this light. You can light up your 3x3 grow tent and watch the greens grow.

I've been using this light for about a year now. It has definitely taken me to the next level. I highly recommend for anyone using a 3x3. Also the driver is removable so if you have to decrease heat in the tent even more you can run the driver outside the tent since there is plenty of cord length

Is there any additional requirements for installing the controller/ballast outside the tent? I've read the light then needs to be separately grounded?

Thank you for the upload! I have 2 pcs of TS600 in my 2x2 and I am constantly fighting with heat. The Mars Hydro site says that each has around 384 BTU heat output so together they should give around 750 BTU. I am thinking about to upgrade my lights to one FC-3000 it could fit perfectly in the 2x2, but that 1000+ BTU that you mentioned freaked me out. Would it have any sense then to change my lights? I thought that much more efficient lights produces less heat, but this one produces more heat and not even produces that much PAR/PPFD on 75% (200W) as my my two TS600 - (100+100W). How is it possible? I am really confused now. My light coverage is also more evenly spread than Your measuring with this light. Weird.
