    I had been wondering what the temps should be in the different phases of the grow. this video is the first I've seen that breaks it down. new sub!

    AC infinity T 6 or T4 with digital controller is the best bit of kit you can get on a budget...It controls the temp and can adjust fans for humidity levels as well as temp.....also gives VPD reading so no need for other sensors. The APP is just great....you can play till you get everything running at 75f / 24c without even being in the same room. But best of all you get charts or historic data over the hour day month or year. so you can look what happens when say you turn your household heating on or open a window.. So you set you fan level to compensate automatically. You will also see when your humidity drops if your humidifier runs out of water as you can set alarm notifications for temp and humidity hi and low. So you better automation just get a Humidifier with it's own level settings and cut of....and see it working in real time on the app data page.

    • @UbiquitousRomp
      @UbiquitousRomp ปีที่แล้ว

      @@nicolef4336 I don't use the alarm. As the step up feature that raises the fan speed automatically if things get hotter works just fine for me. I have my extraction on level 2 @78f (off at level 2) then it goes up to level 3 @ 79...then 4 @ 80f and so on. I only go up to 6 on the step up feature so at 82 she's running at 6. which is all i need to stop things getting to hotter than that..

    You can only control the temp and humidity to a point in tropical climates. I live on kauai, and it rains 500+ inches a year. Humidity is rarely under 70%RH. Temps are always 80 to 90 in the summer and 70 to 80 in winter. I use a/c & dehumidification to help, but it's always a fight to keep it in the right range of Vpd for late flower in summer

    Temo matters! My indoor no problem. My garage girls that were an emergency to get out there. Got way to cold at night. = Purple and stunted. But it wiped out the thrips. Harvesting those today. Still a sappy little harvest.😮

    ** We mention a tidbit about humidity effecting the potential sex of seedlings. After further research, we cannot find a distinctive study to support this theory. Some people says that it does, while others do not. Until there is a conclusive and decisive study performed, we will air on the side of caution and assume it does not effect it. Although, proper humidity and temperature WILL help prevent plants from turning hermaphroditic. Unfortunately, I cannot edit the video at this point so enjoy a little PSA! Stay Happy Friends! **

    Great info, now if I can just get a plant to survive for 4 months. xD If I had any feedback to offer it would be to lessen the empty space in your framing. Maybe experiment and left or right justify yourself and crop a picture in picture for b-roll to your side. Lower the framing so it's at about your waist and minimize the empty space over your head. The lower 3rd of the screen works well for supplemental text.

    Using a heater to heat between 70-80 will drop your RH. You only have have a high RH when temp is low. So I’m not understanding how you can have a high RH while also having a hi temp. I have a humidifier running and all , my RH is stuck low and won’t go past 50%.

    • @UbiquitousRomp
      @UbiquitousRomp 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Your fans maybe sucking to much out of your out take vents.
      Outside you tent in this cold weather it's could be as low as 30% they only real solution if growing in a tent is to use a bigger humidifier in the outer room...or the one you have outside but near the intake.
      Your post was quite recent....so I hope you come back and let us know how you got on.

    • @UbiquitousRomp
      @UbiquitousRomp 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The other thing to check is that your extraction fan is pulling the sided of your tent in slightly....the negative pressure will decrease your vpd...but will allso clear the air from the tent quicker. so you need to fiddle with your temp and fan speeds and high setting so the fan doesn't stay on but just comes on every minute or two....
      AC infinity T 6 or T4 with digital controller is the best bit of kit you can get on a budget...It controls the temp and can adjust fans for humidity levels as well as temp.....also gives VPD reading so no need for other sensors. This is misleading if you're talking about cannabis. Air temp is dependant on leaf surface temp and humidity should be based off VPD (cannabis specific) once proper leaf temp is achieved

    Great info however the section on environment affecting sex has ZERO evidence/research to back your claim up. Don't get me wrong im not claiming that its not theoretically possible. This has been PROVEN to be true with crocodiles and alligators for example so the theory may be valid but yet to be confirmed. I found the same article that you probably got your info from. Its poorly put together stating that the seed already has a predetermined sex but changing the environment, humidity, and npk ratios are some how able to change that male to a female an vise versa but backs his claims up with ZERO facts. If this held true then there would be research to back up the claims. This would also mean I would get a 99.9% success rate of having all the same gender from non feminized seeds which most growers know is already untrue.. when popping non-fem seeds the AVERAGE ratio of female vs male is about 50/50. Even when in a controlled environment and using high humidity with everything dialed in the the ratio stays the same. So I guess my question is where and what proof have you found to back up your statement concerning environment determining plant gender?

      Thank you for pointing this out. I found varying degrees of information about the topic and it seemed to make sense to me as I've had first-hand experience with extreme temps/humidity turning a plant hermaphrodite. After researching, I can't find a definitive study proving it either so I went ahead and edited my pinned comment to let people know. Thanks again and stay happy!
