What's the green and red flag on the wall? I was guessing an Eastern European accent but I could be wrong :)
So If my BMW 520D F10 has 3.00mm left on the rear breaks, but the sensor I think has given me a warning exclamation sign on my dashoard in red, as I believe the interval for these has been gone over in terms of mileage on the service on the main center screen console, do I need to replace them immediately or is there some life left in them?
More importantly, do these break pads have the "screetching" old school indicator that all cars have on our roads and you can hear all the time when people brake? If so, I'd rather forget about this sensor and just replace the brake pads once I hear screetching sound.

Are there 2 sensors to replace (x1 for each wheel). Or just one?

I’m wondering the same thing. Do we need 1 sensor or 2 (1 for front and 1 for rear)?

German cars is too complicated. japanese cars dont have those sensor and its easy to maintenance.

Just changed the brakes and rotors... easier than any Japanese car. I'd much rather a simple wire, than screaming metal on metal from worn pads.
