- Kenan shows off some of the eating habits of his radiated tortoises who are happy to feast on the fallen Mangoes from the Spring Harvest. It's OK to feed a tortoise fruit every once in a while, but you need to be careful as you'll learn in this episode. We also go on an impromptu tour of Kamp Kenan as he checks out an unseen corner of the turtle pond that fans will definitely be interested in. Can sulcatas eat mango leaves? I have two 50lbs sulcatas and we have a mango tree in the garden.
Pythons
Its pretty cool how some tortoises have very different looking eyes. The Mountain tortoise in the video had eyes that almost looked like a dog, while the Redfoots had small eyes that were all black.

Hey Kenan I've been wondering, you feed your tortoise cactus petal's but cactus also grows fruits on top. The one's I have in my yard produce two different flavored fruits, one more watermelon tasting and the other kiwi-ish. Does your cactus grow them, and would that be an okay source of water like for the tortoise that can eat fruit.

why does snake npt eat them
I love watching your videos. I actually take notes so i can teach others in my kids schools and would love to open a place for people to come and learn about them. I have a baby Sulcata tortoise and would love to get another one. I would love red foots and such. 2 Yellow belly slidders are coming soon and i have 3 bearded dragons. You have given such great info for me to teach others. I think it is very important to teach others about animals so they dont fear them or harm them.

Hey Kamp Kenan! Zookeeper here- we had a common snapping turtle bite an electric fence that was on the outside of a crane exhibit (to keep predators out) I thought he was dead, (limp, no respiration) but after an hour he started to wake up. After about 3 days he was back to normal and was released back into the wild by our vet staff. We named him Jesus lol.
Lazarus would have been more fitting in this case.
