    put water remover for diesel also. diesels notorious for absorbing moisture outta the air. if u use the lid lock on that lid and its air tight make a small vent hole or the barrel will suck in when it gets hot. lost some red jerry cans can that. they expanded out and deformed bad.

    starts screwing up try blowing air through through the intake then the exhaust a couple times it will blow the carbon out. it worked foe me and works good again

    Mike, if you have a cordless drill. You can use a transfer pump that works off the power of a drill. Just look to see if it's fuel safe.
    It's my understanding those heaters are available in three sizes.
    2,3 and 5 BTU's. I have the the 5 . It's new, never used and I wish I new you needed one.

    Sounds like a great plan.. I hate to be one of the people that you talked about, BUT, I love using my Wave 3 heater, as a little auxiliary heater, and or emergency heater. If power goes out. I would never use it when I’m sleeping. And I have monitors.

    I love my diesel heaters. I have one in a van and another in a cargo trailer camper conversion. I used mine for the past three years and the only problem i had was once replaced the glowplug and once replaced the little control box inside the unit. Ive learned that if you buy them in the summer its so much cheaper . I found them as low as $60. So i bought two extra just to always have spare parts or even the whole unite i can swap if i need to in a pinch. The only complaint i have is. It doesnt turn on and off by a thermostat. But i found a company that makes a remote for it with a built in thermostat on/off. But that remote cost more then the heater lol

    • @LivingFree
      @LivingFree  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I haven't had a single one yet that doesn't have a thermostat that's strange. But you're smart buying extra! They're just too awesome of a way to heat to not use them and have replacements ready. Do they break down over time? Yes. But still very worth it.

    • @johnamorim6080
      @johnamorim6080 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@LivingFree what i mean by thermostat is a on/off. These heaters dont shut off and on by themselves . They just go from low heat to high depending on the temp you set. Well it be nice if it shut off and back on. Theres a expensive remote that will do that but i forget the name of the company that makes it. Suxs to leave my place for a long time and have to either leave the heater on or leave it off

    Just a suggestion Mike I would definitely get up on your roof and seal up all the joints, possibly seal the entire roof because when you moved it after sitting that long, I would imagine it’s probably gonna spring some leaks when the rain comes and the snow. Would love to see those videos too. - Thanks Mike.
