Listen, I'm definitely a very average if not mediocre Elden Ring player but frak it, I'm doing this DLC in NG+. I think the beauty of the Elden Ring experience (Elden Ring is my first souls like ever) is that now matter how much you struggle or how insurmountable things appear to be, there are in facts many ways to overcome any obstacle the game throws at you. Optimizing your build, fiding weaknesses to exploit, specific items weapons charms etc, playing more cleverly, cheesing your way through learning pattrers, simply "getting good" or a combination of all those things. So yeah, I'll expect it will be very tough, I know there will be a lot of struggle but I'm 100% confident even a mediocre player like myself can overcome this DLC in NG+, where there's a will there's a way. And don't try to talk me out of it! 😀
I’m currently at the end boss on NG+ 35, and it took me 2 days. The game is the same level of hardness for anyone regardless of NG+. The simplicity of playing the DLC is based on those things you collect from alters to level up your character to be able to take on the tasks easier
I don't like being told what to do, sir. I am in new game 4, and I infact will go in with this build. You have to admit the challenge is the fun part about it.

I went into the DLC on NG+3 without realizing it crossed over to the DLC. half the bosses I was like ok this is hard but reasonable. I started at lvl 285. I am lvl 400 now and have collected and killed everything but Bayle. Worst part is all the cheese builds you find are basically useless at this point. Don't get me wrong, I am a scrub when it comes to souls like games but I was able to beat my first play through at about lvl 170.
From my understanding, That's because we now know that the dlc content doesn't scale with ng+ like the base game does. No matter what new game run you're on, when you first play the dlc, the difficulty is the same. The dlc content doesn't increase in difficulty until you beat the final boss, and once that happens, there's only a slight increase and it stays that difficult no matter what ng+ you're on after that. 😅 Hope that makes sense.
