I find it funny how so many times you make a point or ask a question in the first half that I’m prepared to “umm actually” and you end up covering what I was going to say in the second half.
While I understand why people think the bad ending is everyone dying. Why do people not consider that Gon doesn't end up getting influenced by Gyro instead. Gon isn't exactly a hero persay, he just does what he wants. I mean that has been reference through the series and the Chimera arc definitely showed that he can easily fall into a more villian role
I mean yeah, Gon is kind of like a wild animal in the sense that heinous things don't phase him and he does what he wants without caring much about consequences. But he still has people he cares about. Gyro wants to destroy humanity. That includes people Gon calls friends and family. I could only see Gon joining Gyro if Gyro convinced him he would spare some people. Knowing Gon, he might just believe him. Not that Gyro would actually, but still.
I don't really see him falling into a villain role. While he is batshit insane, he still does have an overall code. I'd say he's closer to Bakugo from MHA than anything. Unhinged personality, but at the end of the day still good. Trying to turn him evil would probably end with him telling them to kick rocks.
@@Th1sUsernameIsNotTaken Keep in mind he is still a child easily influenced. I mean look at it however you want, most of his friends are all murderers, justified or not. His morale code is easily changed since he was willingly to kill komugi. Again an early sign that his role in the story can change
Togashi actually recently stated about thinking of having an “Ending E”. This involves Gon having 2 grandkids. The Girl Gin who does not want to follow Gon’s steps and her brother, who will follow Gon’s path as a Hunter and will be recognized as the strongest member of the Freecs Lineage. His name is Greek. Greek Freecs 😅😅
I’m thinking that 1) gon could be training to use aura again while kurapika is the protag, and once the arc is finished gon will already be back at strength. Or 2) the succession war will end on a cliffhanger, and there will be a time skip in which gon will learn to use nen again 🤔
Funny enough I don't think Gon's strength in Nen actually diminished. All he would actually need to do is practice to see it again. And if he did it the proper way through all of the training and not forced, he'd actually be strengthening it even before being able to use it again. Ging says his aura was completely fine when he saw it, and that he just can't sense it now. While Ging probably doesn't know how strong Gon was before, he doesn't say that his aura is weak or barely existent, which he most likely would if it was significantly weak.
Transmuters are Rarest Type, but all hope Togashi knows this cause he keeps track has recently been destroyed. Much to my dismay. He even declared it abdundant. Well, either way, you cant argue with results: Its the type many feel like they understand the Least. We have so few Examples of what to attribute-transmutte that i can barely come-up with any Material that makes sense to transmute. But more eerily: I can literally not comprehend what the difference is between Transmuting a Dragon, a Cow and a Sheep. It seems doing Zeno's Fight-Style is a whole thing, BUT it seems to be the most-monotone Thing everrrr. Or am i missing something?
I think realistically if we want to know everything that will happen in hunter hunter togashi could just write it out as a novel and release if he finds himself unable to finish the manga if he did that at least we wouldn’t be left hanging
I hope that if the series does end prematurely we'll still get Togashi's notes for future arcs or at least the details of the other three endings and just never state which of them is canon.
Welfin, who's uber loyal to Gyro and would know Gyro the same way he and Ikalgo eventually recognized each other: tells Meruem to his face "You're not my king! Anime only fanbase: "Yeah, it makes sense for Gyro to be Meruem."
The sad thing is… didn’t Togashi state that Kurapika (as well as all of the spiders) would brutally die by the end of the series? I fear that not even main character plot armor may save Kurapika from this fate before returning the MC role back to Gon.
I think Gyro could happen during the Dark Continent arc as well... Having two main stories finish out and Gon having to go to Dark Continent to save his friends...
This is my take on Gon(my opinion, don’t get upset): Gon is a very kind, honest, intuitive, and knowledgeable person. Hence growing up on Whale island(isolated/remote) he learnt many useful skills, e.g. his sense of smell, taste, sight, and hearing, and resistance to many things. He is a loveable character as seen throughout the show where others have taken quite the interest in him. I know this isn’t justified but Gon grew up without any male presence in his household, and was practically tossed away. There’s still no information regarding his mother but I personally love the theory that Ging is Gon’s mother and father. About Gon selfishness. Yes I will agree he has shown selfishness and stubbornness throughout the show. But his goal to find his Dad causes these effects, and here’s my take on why. His intentions are meant to come off as selfish but merely stating his true intentions, very straightforward if I may add. Due to him trying so hard to meet his father’s expectations he can forget the human conduct. His father is silently pushing him to become this strong nen user. Also Gon seems to not allow anything to come in his way when finding his father. Gons sense of human emotions and feelings: Gon can obviously feel emotions and feelings but seems to have no sense of morality when it comes to death, violence, and many out of the ordinary things. For example when Killua revealed he was an assassin from an assassin family, Gon looked surprised, which Killua then stated “nobody’s ever reacted that way before”. This could imply Gon has met assassins before or he is just quite weary of them and knows their strengths. Gon also seems to show little to no mercy if needed, quickly switching up from an innocent kind child to unmerciful little boy. His determination/stubbornness: Gon doesn’t give up, why is that? Because of his Fathers expectation implanted onto him(never say no to a fight, don’t abandon the fight, and become a strong nen user/hunter). Gon is seen going to extreme lengths to achieve his goal of a fight every time. For example during one of his fights he sacrificed his right hand, and will easily take hits to the face, legs, and even to the point of almost death(not including his beast form) just to win the fight, or achieve something from the fight itself. His determination though leads to his stubbornness of not knowing when to quit or stop. Gon’s intelligence: Gon seems to be quite an intellectual child displaying countless times of use of his intelligence which are shown to be of high level which makes his IQ questionable. Gon is quick in thinking when in battle and when not, easily coming up with plans and strategies. He also possesses basic knowledge but to a more advanced stage. Like medical treatment, facts, and he overall has a general positive grasp on the world. For example he could identify the difference between the two dogs(forgot the names) and could easily spot which one was the husband and wife, which nobody had been able to do for a couple years(a decade I believe). Gon’s kindness: Gon shows his kindness and compassion for others lots of times, saving random people. For those who say he left some to die or get injured, you don’t always have the upper hand and or able to attend to the person quick enough. Gon is kind towards others despite their unkind words towards him. Gon’s honesty and straightforwardness: Gon is shown to be a straight forward character easily letting out his thoughts, feelings, and actions. He can quite simply explain his thoughts of one to his allies, and tell them things, as seen when Gon consistently tells Killua how cool he is, and his remarks on his family. Gon is also shown to not lie to anybody, he merely speaks the truth, only lying when needed for survival. Theories of Gon I have: Gon could be a nen baby, as the videos explaining Gon’s birth makes sense. Another theory is Gon is a calamity from the Dark continent Pap(don’t know if that’s spelt correctly), which could explain why Nanika(Ai calamity theory) looked almost relieved when seeing Gon(Pap) almost under the impression she was seeing a comrade once again during his healing scene. Also the laboratory in the manga of how Paps victims looked like they had been drained of nutrients and were decaying away which is how Gon appeared when on the verge of death(practically dead), it could make sense if the calamity has created a home inside of him(Gon being the host), Gon’s ancestor Don Freecs travelled to the Dark Continent, and made mappings and discoveries of the shores of the Dark continent(don’t remember if he came back unscathed). But if a situation appeared in the dark continent perhaps Don Freecs made a deal with Pap in exchange for something valuable, the drawback being a family member in the Freecs bloodline will have to carry the presence of Pap inside of them. which could explain Gon’s beast form. Pap not being let out for a while, easily accepting Gon’s deal(I have an idea that Pap couldn’t be released from Gon’s body unlike Nanika can from Alluka because Gon has to much Nen with-straining Paps ability to come out. Pap is the calamity of desires and pleasure. Gon is seen throughout the show expressing his desires and dreams, and also showing quite pleasurable remarks(coming from Gon). Pap is also known to be quite an aggressive calamity(if Gon is Pap it could explain his sudden aggressiveness when being released(Gon entering his adult form) and could be quite plausible for Gon’s ending appearance). Another theory is that Gon is a calamity and a nen baby, due to the curse of the calamity being passed onto the Freecs bloodlines, he is also a nen-baby and a calamity. He has his own consciousness though. We are also told by one of the chimera ants(the green one Gon was speaking too) and their Nen instructor(forgot his name) that they could sense an inhuman beast lurking within Gon/ and that his is a Nen monster. His injuries heal quickly too which could explain his recovery processes. Also his Nen taking a 3rd grade Hunter by surprise, and how quickly he seems to master any technique involving Nen. It seems like that Pap is watching from the sidelines inside Gon awaiting to take over Gon for a short bit of time, when in a need of help(the deal Don Freecs could’ve made may of involved something to do with Nen power and protection/future seeing(I believe of this because of how if the calamity is really there and turned Gon best mode, why didn’t he help him on his other near death experiences? Unless…Pap can see glimpses of Gon’s future and decided when to intervene). It is also appearing that Pap turns his victims into pets, which could’ve happened to Gon unless, that is a drawback from the over use of Nen, and a theory could be that Pap doesn’t have the intention of turning Pap into Gon but rather fulfilling his end of the deal and protecting/giving power to Gon which caused the drawback of the shrivelled body to happen because that is what happens to all creatures when interacting with Pap(receiving his power). Gon could’ve truly only used a fragment of Paps power not even a fragment as the calamities in the Dark Continent can wipe out existence(e.g. wish giving, and desires). So perhaps Ging knew of this curse and took it upon himself to help create a child already that is ready to have a calamity inhabit when born. This could explain the reasoning for Gon’s mother not being around. Unless the calamity is Gon’s mother making him part human and part calamity(but that’s just a theory). This is explains Gon’s overpowered nen and abilities. Also the reason for him being so unfazed by violence and gore could be to do with Pap, who is probably used to all these implanting his DNA or thoughts and feelings about blood, gore, and violence in order to guide Gon through life! Reminder these are all my theories and other people’s theories, and also my opinions so just leave your thoughts and try not to leave anything negative below! Thank you!😭😋
Ging even had to cal Gon out on his selfishness when the latter asked about not seeing his Nen anymore Ging said he reverted back to before he learned Nen and should count himself lucky he didn’t lose more from the self made contract Gon made vs Pitou
@@kakot_t3330 Gon is arguably the most selfish person in HxH. Even Ging realized that. His strongest characteristic trait is what? Him always doing what he wants without thinking about anything, or anyone, else.
@@JoshuaGraves113 Gon's selfishness is also why he needs "perfect" victories and why he ends up hurt more than he needs to. The flower bomb dude only succeeded in blowing up Gon's arm because he was impatient and wanted to take the dude out himself
I think we can have the gyro play out in the current arc along side of it. I think a kinda cool way to introduce it is one of the zodiacs calls back to the hunter HQ for something. They don’t get a response and all you see is blood everywhere. No bodies and the last scene is gyro walking away from the building. This could introduce some sorta sci-fi style lost in space because earth is destroyed. This could play into how we see each country falling really quickly to gyro. And the final act of the succession war is gyro moving on the Kakin.
Just a thought for you good sir, if your worried about the life of the channel. You could always change "new world review" to cover the "new age" Mangas releasing, like the newest IPs and your views on longevity / concept
Bad Nen-User, that's what lil' Gon is. Always the Worst in his Friendgroup. Only saved by Fans keeping to misunderstand what defines a good Nen-User and thinking him pushing-through with pure Talent means he aint bad
The one thing I always noticed with Gon is that he never really used his nen abilities in any impressive ways, the Nen abilities themselves are more impressive than the way they were used. He brute forced his way to victory too often, unlike Killua for example. They are obviously different in how they do things and had a different training backgrounds but even then I'd say Gon's genius side was too flat. And then I remembered that they skipped years of training when they got the 0 to 100 nen awakening, instead of slowly discovering what nen feels like and how to use it. If Gon were to re-learn Nen but doing it from scratch instead of getting a shortcut I think he would have a deeper grasp and understanding of Nen and that would level him up a lot. Finesse and wittiness goes a long way in Nen battles. We saw a perfect example of that with a top tier specialist like Chrollo needing an insane amount of prep time and a lot of different cards to defeat a genius like Hisoka with a Nen ability that is not even as close as impressive. And even then, Hisoka's resourcefulness ended up making him not only survive, he came out way stronger than before, that kind of thing is what Gon could use imo. Or he could just chill with his Aunt, that works too.
And he still has the power of all his previous training still most likely, as Ging said his Aura was fine when he saw it. Which means if her were to do the proper training again (which by proxy makes your aura stronger...) he'd come out EXTREMELY more powerful than he was on top of it all.
If gon still has nen but can't feel it as you said he reverted back to normal, he probably just has to train and control his nen the proper way rather than the forceful way him and kill did
The panel when Gon said that Gin felt like an uncle to him, Gon was aiming to meet his father, maybe his father is Don freecs, which can lead Gon to the dark continent
I really hope Gon doesn't return. I want his sacrifice of never being able to use nen again to mean something, it was such a magnificent end for the character being willing to throw away everything like that and I'd hate to see it get retconned.
nope. Nen is litterally the life energy. Gon loosing nen is like loosing his life. No one can live and not have nen. So its nonesense. But makes sense that now hes healed, he can learn to use nen again since its just a matter of learning to use you life energy. Saying he cant learn nen back is like someone having fingers working properlly but they cant learn to draw because whatever...
If there's a good reason for it, I'll be happy with it. Returning him to health already showed that the consequences were supposed to teach him a lesson, not just a tragic ending.
Gyros future actually is explored at the end of the Chimera ant arc in the anime because Welfin starts talking about him a bunch and then he leaves for Meteor City with Bizeff and the new exorcist girl. He was convinced that Gyro had gone there after being born as a chimera ant.
Gon focused on training its senses instead of nen and accidentally got to the new world where he is casually training and he is gonna reunite with the gang.
We are in the timeskip rn imo. He needs to grow up and Ging telling him to figure out what he can do as he is now on his own is itself a subversion of the sort of rhetoric that typically leads into a timeskip.
Man, please never give up on ur channel. Us hxh fans dont get much good content (considering the manga's circustance rn) so pls continue with ur content. we r all very grateful 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

@@Th1sUsernameIsNotTaken Keep in mind he is still a child easily influenced. I mean look at it however you want, most of his friends are all murderers, justified or not. His morale code is easily changed since he was willingly to kill komugi. Again an early sign that his role in the story can change
Anyone can be a villain. Every human that exists has the ability to enact harm to the world and those around them.

I've been rocking with NewWorldReview for so long now. I love the content, always have, and I'm sure I always will! 😌
I think you’re forgetting about the most powerful person in Hunter Hunter zushi 8:12
@@Th1sUsernameIsNotTaken gon also pushed himself to the brink of death, so his nen may be akin to post mortem nen now 🤔
@@kxnoz I'd personally assume Nanika reset everything to before he transformed, which would most likely include Post Mortem nen as well.
I don’t like how we don’t see gon. And that sacrifice he made seems like it ended gon. I wanna see how powerful he gets
I'd personally love if to see gon find his new path in life. His nen reflects him pretty well rn, A blank slate. With endless pontential
Ngl the End credit had me crying 1:54 “produced by health related hiatus”😂
I think realistically if we want to know everything that will happen in hunter hunter togashi could just write it out as a novel and release if he finds himself unable to finish the manga if he did that at least we wouldn’t be left hanging
I hope that if the series does end prematurely we'll still get Togashi's notes for future arcs or at least the details of the other three endings and just never state which of them is canon.
Thank you so much for keeping us going with the hxh content I know it's hard 🙏🏼🙏🏼
I like feeling like I understand everything from HxH so I watch your videos once a month
Welfin, who's uber loyal to Gyro and would know Gyro the same way he and Ikalgo eventually recognized each other: tells Meruem to his face "You're not my king!
Anime only fanbase: "Yeah, it makes sense for Gyro to be Meruem."
Plus Meruem literally responds by saying he “Hopes Welfin can find Gyro”
i come back here one year later and you STILL just repeat your videos over and over
Wake up babe new world content dropped
Without Gon I won't be back.
Liam is a real one for "A Spike Lee Joint"
A dying togashi outliving toriyama will forever be funny to me.
11:17 that's crazy 😭😭
"I shit my pants." was so out of left field
can't wait for new manga chapters to drop!
What a well done video. Didnt really give spoilers, yet informative. Good stuff.
Thank you!😭😋
Name a more iconic duo than HxH 2011 & cutting Gon meeting important characters that come back later.
What saddens me about that ending is Gon is seemingly more selfish than ever. How did he get to that point when he’s developed a lot already
He was always selfish though?
@@JoshuaGraves113not to that level
Ging even had to cal Gon out on his selfishness when the latter asked about not seeing his Nen anymore
Ging said he reverted back to before he learned Nen and should count himself lucky he didn’t lose more from the self made contract Gon made vs Pitou

Thanks for the great news guys
Sorry for the unwarranted pessimism
We could never skip to credits at finding ging because kurapikas story was still ongoing. You know this my dude
If gon still has nen but can't feel it as you said he reverted back to normal, he probably just has to train and control his nen the proper way rather than the forceful way him and kill did
I felt like the anime made welfin guros reincarnation. He had that take over slowly ambition.
Idk about that lol
I literally just subscribed from this page to I thought I already was but you are on my streaming page definitely have you locked in Bro
There is no world where Gon doesn't end up with Killua. Yoshihiro, don't be a coward, do it.
The panel when Gon said that Gin felt like an uncle to him, Gon was aiming to meet his father, maybe his father is Don freecs, which can lead Gon to the dark continent
I find that proposed ending so incredibly generic and unlike Togashi.
I never get tired of your content keep it up
11:17 What?
The editing is awesome!
I really hope Gon doesn't return. I want his sacrifice of never being able to use nen again to mean something, it was such a magnificent end for the character being willing to throw away everything like that and I'd hate to see it get retconned.
STFU! u r not "different"
nope. Nen is litterally the life energy. Gon loosing nen is like loosing his life. No one can live and not have nen. So its nonesense. But makes sense that now hes healed, he can learn to use nen again since its just a matter of learning to use you life energy.
Saying he cant learn nen back is like someone having fingers working properlly but they cant learn to draw because whatever...
he need to undo the nen curse before he can use nen
That's shortsighted writing, especially considering what gon represents in the series.
If there's a good reason for it, I'll be happy with it. Returning him to health already showed that the consequences were supposed to teach him a lesson, not just a tragic ending.
That edit of that dried up chocolate lady from SpongeBob as Gon was Priceless 😂

Stoked for when Gyro teaches Gon the power of Spin to replace Nen.
Gon took the road of revenge and he knows that it made him feel empty, gon is the piece needed to save his friend from eternal darkness
Honestly i would be satisfyed seeing gon getting stronger and stronger :D
real
Thx 4 da videos.
We are in the timeskip rn imo. He needs to grow up and Ging telling him to figure out what he can do as he is now on his own is itself a subversion of the sort of rhetoric that typically leads into a timeskip.
