This is what I need...I always have this obsession with getting new barber tools I really don't need and ended up not using....this made me spend all my money on them, and when important real issues comes I get thrown off...now I know that with the right discipline and tracking sheet I can list up my scale of preference and don't spend my money on unnecessary things. Also get back on posting on my Instagram and TikTok... thanks man💯
Biggest take away from this is , gotta manage and keep track off income and expenses, also it’s not just about how much you spending a month but how much you bringing in also plays a part , another thing gotta be consistent with posting your work and promoting yourself 🔥, main thing I personally got from this is if I wanna make a change or want my business to change I just gotta start and discipline myself so I can get where I wanna be 💪🏽
What I took from this for my own personal situation is that I need to start really zoning into tracking my finances and to continue to keep targeting my marketing tactics to aim towards the client flow I have existing. Once I’m able to really track out what I’m bringing in and putting out I’ll be able to put the right focus on my financial stability and have just all around more organization 🙏🏼
I just subscribed to your channel , and watched some of your YT videos. I like how you go straight into it and explain what we exactly need to do in order to be a barber and improve all about growth. I’m only a couple months learning and still have a lot to learn. Watching these type of videos really gives me the motivation and guidance to be better and not give up, thank you.
Take away: Have to track spending , Especially being 19 and new to the game and barbering being your only source of income can be rough but track and acquire new clients should be priority
My biggest takeaway was tracking expenses. I'm currently enrolled in school and this has been something that all of our teachers recommend so you can see where your money goes. Also cold dm'ing people in your area through social media, if you post content daily tagging local hashtags it becomes easier to find you as well. Also I don't see the link to your money tracking spreadsheet, could you update the description?
Many takeaways but the biggest one is how you go in detail on long term and short term thinking ,thats can really change a person’s mindset to actually work harder.
Discipline and figuring out which spectrum you are falling on. You have to find the source of the problem reflect, rethink, then return so you never have to return to being broke
I’m in school now but as a cosmetologist I’m still struggling to make money so maybe as I get better and more experienced get my barber license I can make more money and my clientele up and not have to work 2jobs .
Honestly my biggest takeaway from this video lesson was that we as barbers sometimes don't even track how we spend our bread we just see the money and it's easy access to grab that at the end of the day or month we see we're left with pretty much nothing or no progress. It's like a diet bro say you're weighing 250 pounds you start thinking how you're gonna cut the fat away so you start tracking you're calories but you go to the gym and right after you go get junk food that is uneccesary for your progress. So you start buying yourself into bullshit that isn't even gonna help you reach you're goal long term wise. That's the most short term way to fuck it all up you get shit that won't even help you change. But we love to follow our ego and not our highest self. Then we go back to our mind and see why shit didnt go our way and thats a big lesson you start teaching yourself you find youre mistakes from the past & if its not a blessing its a lesson. As a Barber I went broke for buying properties that I know would create me passive income. It's cool to downgrade but I thought long term wise cause I knew I would be able to live more freely long term wise by creating passive income. Property only increases value it'll never lose, future wise I know I could sell it for more than what I bought it for by investing into it. Facts about the corolla example I had to downgrade to a honda for 3 years I sold my bmw to be able to secure the property. Like I said it's perfectly find to downgrade if you gotta come up long term wise. But I love what you're doing Dlucs you're really changing the Era of the Barbering industry Brother helping us escape the rabbit Hole. MAD respect for you Big Dawg you built this from the foundation and Up 📈. Changing lives and helping others is what God wants us to do. Share you're Gift to the world 🌍🙏.
My biggest takeaway from this video is how important it is to have a mentor to show you the ropes. You can’t grow your business on your own without the proper knowledge. We need to invest in ourselves by finding someone like you who actually knows what they’re talking about to teach us how to scale our business. We should reflect and learn from our/others mistakes so we don’t repeat them. You mentioned a good point about how we have to think long term and put in the work now to see results in 6-12 months. Budgeting/tracking your money and increasing your income is the key to success. After I finish your Elevated Mentorship program I hope to become a mentor with you, especially if you’re paying $68,000 a year.
💎💎💎My personal takeaway is financial discipline and literacy understanding where my income is going and taking complete control of my finances. (Fast money is the worst kind of money!) Bad spending habits develop. Also asking or seeking for help in my areas I'm lacking! Iron sharpens iron ⚔️
When you become a barber does it matter if you go to a specialy school like Paul Mitchell or a community college if you can get back to I would really appreciate that
but how is 1 cut is 100 then a new cut is 150????? you know it makes no sense we all know you didn't say the real price. unless you can make it make sense on why it goes from 30 to 150????? do you like some people more then others why did others cuts add up so much more but yet it was the same cut you know?

To see change you gotta first make the change in yourself!

Bruhhhh you gotta hop on that. You can't run a business and not be aware of what's going on in the bank account every day

10000%! How have you been thinking recently, short-term or long-term?
@@dlucs_ Long term as always 💯
Man ... I love the podcast vibe of this bro. Thank you!
Of course!
Discipline and figuring out which spectrum you are falling on. You have to find the source of the problem reflect, rethink, then return so you never have to return to being broke
1000%, what are you going to do differently now?
I’m in school now but as a cosmetologist I’m still struggling to make money so maybe as I get better and more experienced get my barber license I can make more money and my clientele up and not have to work 2jobs .
You gotta take care of the money you got now in order to be able to make more later. Don't wish for more money, wish to be a better handler of money
This video and the video with Anna are like your shirt. Essential‼️

I love watching your videos. I definitely wish I can get to this point in my career.
My biggest takeaway is realizing the fun can wait. Instead of spending money the moment it lands in my hands I can be saving it to build my business
Always gotta be saving!
