I really appreciate this video so much, I know it’s been two years lol. I’ve been looking into making my own art prints, so I’m doing a lot of research. I began to become discouraged, because right before I watched this video, I found another woman’s video where she basically said if you cannot use a professional camera, you might as well not make art prints because they will not be good when coming from an iPhone camera. She did not do the comparison as you did I feel as though this video was so helpful because it proves that an iPhone can produce a quality picture and a quality print. Everyone has to start somewhere and starting with an iPhone does not seem too bad anymore
The quality of the prints you created from both your iphone and camera are extremely amazing! I love your painting as well! I had prints created recently from photos taken from my android phone. This is so relieving that it can be done when you don't have a camera just yet.
The reason the iPhone photos look the way they do is because the iPhone still processes the images, and are not directly “raw images” right off the sensor as the Sony does. So with the Sony you’ll get more dynamic range in photos in those dark areas than the iPhone. It’s just the physics of the sensor sizes. So it’s not directly related to settings on the camera. Keep up the good work👍🏾
You are doing the Lord's work! Thank you so much for the time you take to educate us! I am a complete novice but kind of enjoy the "white spots" and reflections. In the age of AI its evidence that there were actual hands that worked on this.
Always love your videos but especially the in-depth print and post painting side of art. Mostly because I'm so bad at it and you advice and knowledge is so valuable. Just wanted to thank you, Melissa, for continuing to bless us with your knowledge and experience.
I totally admire and respect your passion for quality. Your ability to do so many tests, and really get the best out of the hardware you are using to present your art work is unmatched. I can relate to this obsession, with making sure everything is perfect by running tons of little experiments. Keep up all your great work! Your art is fantastic.
@@joi243 you need to develop your own style and technique else you will be copying or imitating. Work with what you have or pay for a tutor to help you find your own style , with that you can develop a unique technique for your Art. I wish you all the best.
Are there limits to the size of print that can be made with an iPhone photo? And is there any apps that you would recommend for creating larger size prints?
Thank you for not being a gatekeeper. You are a bigger blessing than you know.

Thanks! Yeah, I think it's great to know that you can still get quality results by just using what you already have!

Can you show us how you do your preliminary sketches before you start painting and how you choose your colors?
Some Artist need their work process private. Just a enjoy the finish work.
@@roospooscreate ok, no disrespect, I’ve just been trying to learn the technique on my own, but it’s been hard finding tutorials. Thanks anyway
