After about 20sec they all blink in unison for a few seconds and then back to individually blinking. Well, after a while all the waves start moving in the same direction if only for a little while then dissipate!
Another fun thing about rogue waves, One of the greatest ships ever built, the RMS Queen Mary (still preserved today in Long Beach CA) was hit by a colossal 92 foot rogue wave on her side whilst carrying over 10’000 troops in WW2. The ship tipped over a ridiculous 52 degrees with soldiers holding onto walls that were now the ceiling, and almost became the worst disaster at sea in history. If the Queen tipped 3 degrees more she would capsize certainly killing essentially everybody on board, but she held and righted herself without causing any deaths. This incident inspired “The Poseidon Adventure” 1972.
Especially since gorillas are peaceful animals. They don't attack without provocative, and even then, they give warnings that they're going to attack. I love gorillas. True gentle giants.
put a little kid in front of a MALE gorilla and i guarante you 9 times out of 10 something bad gonna happen, so your theory indeed is a conspirational one LMAO . This "gentle" image some people try to paint on wild animals like gorillas, pandas or sharks is actually a disservice since it make other people lower their guard when around those animals in any kind of situation and thats a very bad idea from a survival standpoint.
I listen to a podcast about them missing Japanese. They had the family of one of the missing girls who was kidnapped by these North Korean spies. She was only 9 years old and walking home from ping pong practice and they thought she was older because of how tall she was, the family got snippets of her life and how she held on to her pattle as tether to her old life. It was really sad to listen to.
Re: The comments about how the RMS Lusitania was downed by a rogue wave…no she wasn’t. She was hit by one yes in 1910, but was downed off the coast of Ireland by a torpedo from a German U-boat on 7 May 1915 killing almost 1200 people. Condemned internationally for torpedoing a civilian liner, Germany claimed that she was carrying munitions making her a legitimate military target. Though found in 1932, the wreck was not extensively searched until 2008 when what was discovered? Thousands of tons of munitions. The Germans had been right all along.
Yes, exactly. And they took out ads in papers warning about it. Further, CoIEdwdHouse (WIsonsHndIr) & SirEdwdGrey (fownder of the CFRnChthanHouse, respectively) were discussing it the day it happened, before it happened.
@@daniilgavrilikhin34 this tactic is exactly how leadership got Americans behind WW2. We can assume this was to provoke a response which it did and it's called pearl harbor. US even knew about the attack but ignored because like I said Americans wanted no part of WW2 (until pearl harbor). Side note the reason behind this lack of support for ww2 is interesting but whenever I try to explain it ytube has a problem with it and removes it.
@@bigchedds8389yeah it's one of those morally ambiguous cases for sure. If we had ignored the problem we would have eventually faced a world unified under a genocidal fascist flag and had no hope of victory.
Okapi were also considered to be cryptids until the early 1900s. They're related to giraffes, which funnily enough were also considered mythical by Europeans for a long time. It's theorised that the "questing beast" from Arthurian legend could be based on a secondhand description of a giraffe.
Very interesting ty ! I didn't know this about okapi but there are other animals that were mysteries for europeans for centuries like rhinos. Old drawings of rhinos are hilarious. Marco Polo used the word unicornis to describe them so, as you can imagine, it added to their controversy/mystery. Hoonestly there are many of our very real animals that look surreal for people who'd never heard of them.
Gorillas are very peaceful creatures with complex social dynamics and conflict de-escalation. Violence is pretty rare, generally involves silverbacks and is seen as a last resort with plenty of warnings. A gorilla will not just leap out of nowhere and kill a human unprovoked and for no reason.
We know that now, they didn't know that back then. We sometime make the mistake of looking back at something with the eyes of now (its called presentism). Another example is the 'the eighty war/dutch revolt'. Back then they didnt think after 40 years "we are halfway" (even tho the war wasnt actually 80 years long but its called that haha). Sorry for rambling lol

You’re telling me rogue waves are just two waves on top of each other in a trench coat?
Another fun thing about rogue waves,
One of the greatest ships ever built, the RMS Queen Mary (still preserved today in Long Beach CA) was hit by a colossal 92 foot rogue wave on her side whilst carrying over 10’000 troops in WW2.
I have a theory that Gorillas were described as "bloodthirsty" and "savages" by the same people trying to hunt them and destroy their habitat.
Killer synopsis! 😂 Truly 😢
Especially since gorillas are peaceful animals. They don't attack without provocative, and even then, they give warnings that they're going to attack. I love gorillas. True gentle giants.
There music is really good tho 😂
Or maybe giant chimps were being confused with gorillas. Chimps like meat...
put a little kid in front of a MALE gorilla and i guarante you 9 times out of 10 something bad gonna happen, so your theory indeed is a conspirational one LMAO .
I understand why some of these animals were considered mythical. Can you imagine trying to explain a platypus to people who have never heard of them.
Typical Americans, sponsoring and providing ammunition in every war. But then, after getting a response, they are always the victim
@@daniilgavrilikhin34 this tactic is exactly how leadership got Americans behind WW2. They were supplying China with weapons and ammunition (US said this kept them neutral and aren't part of the war.😮..).

I love okapis, they’re very silly
Sometime I wish we never found the Okapi, because they are endanger do to habbit lost, poacher and other thing
@@polecatpawsI also love Okapi I got a Okapi book for Christmas I love learning more about them
Very interesting ty !
They are peaceful giants with pride .
I would take an encounter with a gorilla over a chimpanzee ANY day. Chimps are fucking scary, gorillas are genuinely just doing their thing.
Exactly. Chimps on the other hand... *shudders*
I'm on the fence as to whether the CIA implemented a WORKING version of the heart attack gun, they certainly had the looks of the gun, but I wouldn't be surprised if the gun was a fluke to cloak their capabilities.
Rocket Money? A subscription service you pay for that helps you get rid of other subscription services you pay for? Am I understanding that right?

I remember watching the North Korea abductions through a documentary I believe on PBS, one night as I unwound from work at my buddy's house as everyone around me passed out and I remained awake. It was late night when it ended and I was terrified going home. The dox mentioned the little girl that was abducted at a young age and how. Her friend just said bye to her, turned around, and she was gone. Someone years later said she was still alive, older, very beautiful, and highly protected. The dox was so chilling and I haven't seen anything else about this since. It's been over a decade..
My family friends were swept away from shore by a rogue wave, parents died and son survived. They are no joke.
Regarding the alcohol one: it's still somehow true today. Rubing alcohol, for example, has chemicals added to it purposely to render it toxic to consumption.
Rubbing alcohol is Isopropyl. So no. This is true for mouthwash though.
@@joanryder3842 It can be Isopropyl or ethanol-based.
On a similar note, who would have thought that common eyedrops can kill. One can't help but look at the shelves a little differently.
Of all the things you've covered in your videos, the North Korean kidnappings is by far the scariest to me.
Great video as always.
I found it fascinating that spaniards, when encountering alligators in Florida for the first time, called these lizards "El legarto." You can imagine the sense of danger they probably had when viewing greatly sized alligators in swamps, and while they were swimming or basking in sunlight.
If that’s the kind of thing that the CIA admitted to having, for the whole world to see, I think it’s safe to say that they are worlds beyond those capabilities now and even then.
Duhh... I can name every single 1001 Declassified CIA documents that proven they committed illegal/immoral actions. Seems like it's been a tradition in US to declassified CIA documents every 15-20 years.
And remember this, in 2030-2040 we will hear truth about Iraq war, WMD in Iraq, Syria, Libya, Covid, Ukraine, JFK, Israel, Trump Assassinations, wild fires across USA, manipulation of weather to create storms and tornados... And so on
At 2:53 he says they did DNA testing on the ashes? I didn’t even know that was possible. what traces of DNA are left over after cremation?
Even during cremation, bones can be left behind which can still hold some traces of DNA.
Cremation doesn’t burn a body like firewood and create that type of ash. What makes it back to families is typically referred to as ashes but it’s just the remaining bone fragments from the process ground into a powder.
I think also when they did tests on the ashes, they found that they weren't even human remains, they were just wood ash or something.
@@The.Lake.Effect TBF if they were human ashes, I would be worried they came from one of the North Korean detention camps.
@@dynamicwarfare Yeah, that's true, like they just killed some random person, cremated their body, and gave it to the Japanese claiming it was one of the kidnapping victims.
