The only one I knew was Trevor Jacobs and only because I subscribe to a few pilot vlogs and they started talking about it. Then the story went viral and the MSM began to pick it up.
Also, just to be clear, all the youtube pilots were saying the crash was staged almost immediately. Within a day, every youtube pilot had a video about it, calling the guy a criminal while pointing out the inconsistencies. I don't know how this guy thought he would get away with that, but the people with experience didn't buy it for one second.

When you caution people on how they conduct themselves, I too had a negative run in with folks. You can't even imagine the impact it had on me. A person who devotes his life to helping others. All I can say is people on Reddit can be the worst. I tried to help a popular internet provider make their services better by using my background in computer science. Let's just say, no good deed goes unpunished. I removed the post and just about left Reddit. Since then, I am reluctant to try and help anyone or anything outside of work.

Reddit can be brutal if you don't communicate your message perfectly. Any sign of defensiveness, or responding harshly nearly always ends in these long meandering tit-for-tat discussions where each is trying to score some imaginary "point" on the other, and it just becomes a contest of wills. They never end well.
Not at all helped by the Reddit downvote mechanism. Originally intended to indicate responses that don't contribute to the discussion, they are instead used by Redditors to indicate they disagree with you, or didn't like the way you conveyed your message. It actively discourages interesting discussions because you get downvoted for having an opposite but unpopular opinion. What you're left with is the infamous Reddit "hive-mind".
Reddit is great for staying in-the-know on things, but don't go there expecting balanced discussions, or fair treatment.

For anybody wondering about the murderer of Natalie McNally, the trial was held up because he pleaded not guilty so far and his defence team basically wanted to see all the evidence against him. They’ve sent some stuff. They’re in the process of sending other stuff and also reviewing if other stuff needs to be sent, which of course is going to take time. So a new date for the trial has been set for the 6th of May 2025

Out of curiosity why did you say "... the trial was held up because he pleaded not guilty..." I mean if he pleaded guilty there would be no trial at all. All of the rest of that stuff is just what happens during a trial, the evidence stuff. In fact I wouldn't get your hopes up that the trial will actually commence on May 6, 2025 either. In fact assuming he doesn't eventually reach a plea agreement at some point & a trial actually takes place I wouldn't expect it until the end of 2025 at the absolute earliest & more likely around mid-2026 or later. While mid- to late-2026 would be my guess I wouldn't be surprised or find it unusual if it didn't begin until mid-2027 either.

There is plenty of evidence that supports this. He left his cellphone in a random location, likely to prevent GPS tracking. Widespread broadand access was the blessing and curse. It made it way more accessible to the average person. It made video commonplace. In turn, it catered more and more to that particular demographic.
Also, the expectation of people being perfect online is ridiculous. People can change and grow. Not all past behavior needs to result in a cancelling.
