The fact Purple Aki isn’t or wasn’t monitored is so concerning, a 6’5” man was responsible for the fear that caused that poor young man to flea, what is wrong with the judicial system? Why is it ok for him to intimidate people?
The first story reminds me of a true story I heard on This American Life. Basically, in 1921, a family moved into an old, gloomy house without electricity, and soon experienced eerie phenomena-strange noises, bed shaking, and ghostly apparitions. Even their children reported being called by unseen figures. The family’s health declined, feeling weak and suffering severe headaches. It turned out they were all experiencing carbon monoxide poisoning from a leaky furnace. After fixing it, all symptoms and hauntings ceased, revealing a rational explanation for the supernatural events.
I live in Northern Virginia, and my friend took me and another friend to Bunny Man Bridge when we were back home from college. Someone had hung up some ropes as a prank prior to when we got there. Definitely had me on edge.
Tried to go to Bunnyman Bridge on Halloween back years ago as a teenager, ffx cops were stopping people from getting there, saying previous years too many people caused problems around the area. Went there with a friend randomly during the day one time, still kinda creepy
Wild guess, but Le Loan's note not necessarily means that they took their own life. It might've only meant that the mystery was killed so it's meaningless to continue, cause it's a matter of time when the identity of the person would be revealed. Oddly, I sympathise to the guy/gal.
He was being maliciously prosecuted by Manchester police. So, he sued them and was awarded a substantial sum of money because of it. Funny how the narrator fails to mention that, part.

The datura house is terrifying. Imagine thinking you’re being haunted, going insane, losing touch with reality, and this whole time you didn’t even know you had been microdosing on one of the most dangerous natural drugs. Wild
About that hermit who stole from others, I’m almost 100% sure he chose to isolate because of bullying in his youth. He didn’t seem like a bad person at all.
I doubt it, he probably just had schizoid personality disorder (not the same as schizophrenia), which is characterized by a preference of wanting to be left alone and isolate yourself from others. (Think of an extreme introvert to the extent it affects your daily life)
Maybe. The fact that the last event he remembered was Chernobyl indicates that perhaps he thought, as many did back then, that society would soon collapse after a nuclear meltdown.

2:33 Our story begins on a dark and stormy night, as all great horror tales do. a curious new War Thunder player named YukariFeetSniffer616 logs in late at night and finds himself in an eerie, deserted lobby with whispers that say, "You shouldn't have logged in." Ignoring the creepy vibes, he joins a match only to encounter a ghostly, rust-covered tank that seems ready to end him... but things take a horrifying turn. YukariFeetSniffer616 is now doomed to lose every single match and spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars for a premium while eating his precious life. His tank perpetually misses, stalls at the worst moments, and constantly gets stuck in terrain. Frustrated and embarrassed, he whispers, "I thought this game is fun..." before rage-quitting the game himself, leaving YukariFeetSniffer616 safe, albeit deeply confused. The legend warns new players to not play the game-if you encounter the War Thunder lobby, you’ll just end up feeding the snail with your soul for all eternity.
I’m from Liverpool and I was one of those teenagers who used to make up stories about Purple Aki as he used to walk past my school, eventually we found out he was real. I used to see him years after I left school walking around the city, he’s a well known person here in Liverpool.
Moonflower also commonly refers to a night blooming morning glory. They both have big beautiful white flowers that look nearly identical. This has led to much confusion 😂 Datura and morning glory are both in the Solanales order along with chili peppers, potatoes, and deadly nightshade. They're in different families though.
everyone in the psychoactive community knows how fucked up is datura, cant imagine you get microdose, and without even knowing, holly cow, insane, almost nightmarish.
Literally a waking nightmare, I took Datura with a group of friends it was beyond insane, more like super realistic delusions totally indistinguishable from reality.I saw one of my friends walk into the room, sit opposite me and then dissolve into the ground as though he was melting.
If you're interested in that sort of stuff, the channel The Lore Lodge has dozens upon dozens of videos about missing hikers, especially those in the category Missing 411. They also have literally hundreds of videos about other forest mysteries. It's a bit of a different presentation style to Chilling Scares, but you might find some stuff you like there.
Dude, I really like your channel. I don't belive in ghosts and I'm really sceptical to most unusual things. But your videos have that "this might have some truth to it"-aura, and I really like it.
OK, but the gas mask thing, that genuinely makes me wanna cry. Because I do believe that there is so many myths that are just better to be left alone. I feel like if you were to encounter her the only thing to do would be to offer her flower and leave her be.I don’t understand why they had to make it a massive thing and make her terrified
The Le Loan story feels very much like someone with severe social anxiety was essentially bullied by the media to stop going out for walks. For extreme cases of social anxiety, some people wear masks or certain outfits to go out. It very easily could've been someone struggling mentally, finally going on walks outside in their little costume. It would explain why they avoided people. I get why there was this whole circus about them. Person in a costume walking alone in the woods. But it got to the point newspapers were reporting about it and people were going out to look for them.
Very good video. I've seen all these stories before, but a perfect amount of info on a video with multiple subjects. It's getting harder to find quality videos on weird subjects with all the dilution from AI and copy cats.
The Purple Aki story was instantly believable to me, because there's a guy in Ybor, close to where I live, that people call the Shoe Licker. He was this younger guy who would just approach people and ask if he could lick their shoes. Never encountered him myself, don't know if he's still doing it, but, despite making that weird request, he was apparently harmless and wouldn't be overly pushy about it.
The amount of times I've considered taking to the woods for the rest of my life is unmatched. I have an Oakley frame that's still brand new after 3 years of daily wearing... I'm READY!!!
Tasmanian here that had datura when I was 16, I spent three days in hospital hallucinating for two days, it’s def wild stuff, still grows in the peoples front yard that we got it from way back in 96, kind of crazy people have it in their yard without realising what it is, never had anything that potent in my life even after having shrooms numerous times, hallucinating is an understatement its more like a crazy dream but you are awake
I live in Hobart. West Hobart being about 5 minutes out of town and a place I drive through all the time. Not at all creepy, it' a beautiful place, even at night. Me, my friends and family all have commuted through it at night and never had any problems as far as paranormal or delinquency. If you want a story from here, look up Rory Jack Thompson. The guy killed his wife and chopped her up and flushed her down his toilet. She ended up clogging up the neighbours piping and a plumber was called out and discovered the pieces of her. Crazy shit. I had family that worked loosely around the case, in the health sector. Or Stavros Papadopoulos, and an accomlice that picked up a chinese student and murdered her at their apartment before disposing of her. Some people are just absolutely f**** beyond, it's kinda nutty aye.
Le Loyon is my favourite one, when I first heard about it I thought it was creepy but funny at the same time, like it was most likely just a regular person dressing up like that and walking in the forest for a few hours a day 😂
7:28 this one was sad! He didn’t steal what most would call valuable… he literally just stole things he would’ve needed… he didn’t hurt anyone… I think this was someone punished for NOT fitting in to normal society!
I feel for the guy, but a lot of people seem to have this idea that breaking into a person's house is some mild, victimless crime. It's not. When it happens to you and your family and you realize that a dangerous stranger was in your home, in your kid's room, going through your things....it is incredibly violating and you never quite feel safe in your home again.
@@amenenema474What you described here is NORMAL for CRIMINALS and/or BAD PEOPLE… this man was NOT a danger and NOT a threat! I would never be comfortable with someone breaking in my home or anyone’s home… but the more they describe this man the more HARMLESS he seemed… to have him labeled the same or similar to the others on this list or in this video is just WRONG! I did not say he shouldn’t face punishment but it’s clear he faced punishment and like a decent human immediately changed his actions… most criminals like described in this video almost always repeat it AFTER having been caught and punished… We have the facts here in this video it’s not fair that even with the facts people will find away to attack him or call him bad… or like you did create a narrative that did NOT happen… it speaks volumes of normal society and our distrust and hatred for those outside of our comfort zones… and NOTHING of him! Again I didn’t say what he did wasn’t wrong… but this is a one of the one million stories where the sinister aspect was created by those who would be deemed the victims… Meaning all of the bad in this story came from the ‘innocent’ but the one who was found guilty really didn’t do anything that should be deemed bad or scary… Those things I would gladly hand you or a neighbor in need… without a question or a doubt… so you have to ask yourself is this a story of a criminal or a story of society creating criminals where there were none!
@@KiingDIVAA Most people would happily hand over necessities to someone in need, if they knew of his situation they might even have donated stuff and left them out for him. Thing is, people didn't know what was going on, and had every right to be unnerved and scared that someone had entered their cabins and taken stuff (and cabins are stocked for good reason-usually there aren't depots nearby). I don't know why you act like it's people's fault, and your stupid rant about society is juvenile at best. That man clearly had issues, it's unfortunate he couldn't communicate his need for help to others and that he chose *himself* to live in conditions of abject need and danger, but you can't fault people for not knowing wtf was going on. More and more we learn every day that we must trust our gut instinct and it's better to be safe than sorry. Take a chil pill, the story ended well for the guy, as far as I can tell, and you're not his goddamned lawyer.
Same😔. If he was taking toiletries maybe the community could have came together n left some lil packets n stuff outside for him I think tht would have been a better way to handle tht situation. He just wanted to be alone. I get that🙌

What the fuck, I wish authorities took these cases more seriously, it’s fucking disgusting.
The fact Purple Aki isn’t or wasn’t monitored is so concerning, a 6’5” man was responsible for the fear that caused that poor young man to flea, what is wrong with the judicial system? Why is it ok for him to intimidate people?
He's probably mentally unstable himself, he should have been provided some sort of rehab in prison.
because the UK justice system, just like the Canadian one is laughable at best.
Because “men can’t be harassed”
The first story reminds me of a true story I heard on This American Life. Basically, in 1921, a family moved into an old, gloomy house without electricity, and soon experienced eerie phenomena-strange noises, bed shaking, and ghostly apparitions. Even their children reported being called by unseen figures. The family’s health declined, feeling weak and suffering severe headaches. It turned out they were all experiencing carbon monoxide poisoning from a leaky furnace. After fixing it, all symptoms and hauntings ceased, revealing a rational explanation for the supernatural events.
Flashback to when my school's star Rugby player pointed out where Purple Aki used to wait for him after school AND HE WAS ALREADY STOOD THERE WAITING.
I live in Northern Virginia, and my friend took me and another friend to Bunny Man Bridge when we were back home from college. Someone had hung up some ropes as a prank prior to when we got there. Definitely had me on edge.
I grew up in Nova as well, the bridge in Clifton is pretty creepy at night. Awesome place to go around Halloween!
Tried to go to Bunnyman Bridge on Halloween back years ago as a teenager, ffx cops were stopping people from getting there, saying previous years too many people caused problems around the area.
Went there with a friend randomly during the day one time, still kinda creepy
It’s beyond refreshing that you just start the video and get straight to it. Thank you for that
Wild guess, but Le Loan's note not necessarily means that they took their own life. It might've only meant that the mystery was killed so it's meaningless to continue, cause it's a matter of time when the identity of the person would be revealed. Oddly, I sympathise to the guy/gal.

About that hermit who stole from others, I’m almost 100% sure he chose to isolate because of bullying in his youth. He didn’t seem like a bad person at all.

Ignoring the creepy vibes, he joins a match only to encounter a ghostly, rust-covered tank that seems ready to end him... but things take a horrifying turn. The common name for datura in the U.S. is moonflower. Devils trumpets usually refer to the “tree” version with downward facing flowers.
It looks like morning glory.
@@g1rl_veteranmoonflower is very similar to morning glory
My mom used to grow these gorgeous flowering plants along our fence row until we got a dog. She removed them to keep from accidentally poisoning him.
Moonflower also commonly refers to a night blooming morning glory. They both have big beautiful white flowers that look nearly identical. This has led to much confusion 😂

Crazy shit.
