Fun fact: Datura is absolutely broadly a hallucinogen, more specifically though it's a deliriant, a term coined to distinguish substances like Datura from psychedelics like LSD and shrooms. The main difference being that you have a terror-driven spooky time instead of an enlightening trip or some fun colours. The most common deliriant is actually Benadryl in large doses, where people talk about seeing shadow men and having terror induced panic-attacks.
From the stories I've heard about Datura, it seems like a deliriant akin to having senile dementia and intense visuals that last anywhere between 24-48hours+. Not the kind of thing you'd want to experience from people who've taken it. Some can be permanently changed by the experience.
@@TheMixCuratorDatura is known to cause HPPD after just one moderate dose. It is also extremely hard to know how many seeds you can take as their potency can vary dramatically.
When I moved to California I asked about these tall plants with 3-foot trumpet flowers that hang down in a very pretty way, and that get very fragrant at dusk. 2:33 Our story begins on a dark and stormy night, as all great horror tales do. a curious new War Thunder player named YukariFeetSniffer616 logs in late at night and finds himself in an eerie, deserted lobby with whispers that say, "You shouldn't have logged in." Ignoring the creepy vibes, he joins a match only to encounter a ghostly, rust-covered tank that seems ready to end him... but things take a horrifying turn. YukariFeetSniffer616 is now doomed to lose every single match and spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars for a premium while eating his precious life. His tank perpetually misses, stalls at the worst moments, and constantly gets stuck in terrain. Frustrated and embarrassed, he whispers, "I thought this game is fun..." before rage-quitting the game himself, leaving YukariFeetSniffer616 safe, albeit deeply confused. The legend warns new players to not play the game-if you encounter the War Thunder lobby, you’ll just end up feeding the snail with your soul for all eternity.
If you're interested in that sort of stuff, the channel The Lore Lodge has dozens upon dozens of videos about missing hikers, especially those in the category Missing 411. They also have literally hundreds of videos about other forest mysteries. It's a bit of a different presentation style to Chilling Scares, but you might find some stuff you like there.
Why not instead of people going in with cameras to capture these hauntings and being called fake, put cameras all around and wait to capture this stuff on camera while the house is empty.
Wild guess, but Le Loan's note not necessarily means that they took their own life. It might've only meant that the mystery was killed so it's meaningless to continue, cause it's a matter of time when the identity of the person would be revealed. Oddly, I sympathise to the guy/gal.
Growing up my local librarian had a pronged prosthetic arm. He was a truly nice person and he was the one to issue me my library card when I was six years old. He wasn’t scary. Me, my friends and family all have commuted through it at night and never had any problems as far as paranormal or delinquency. If you want a story from here, look up Rory Jack Thompson. The guy killed his wife and chopped her up and flushed her down his toilet. She ended up clogging up the neighbours piping and a plumber was called out and discovered the pieces of her. Crazy shit. I had family that worked loosely around the case, in the health sector. Or Stavros Papadopoulos, and an accomlice that picked up a chinese student and murdered her at their apartment before disposing of her. A little confused about the first one. That’s the Amityville house where the Lutz family claimed they had to flee in 1977 and that’s the only claim the house was haunted as far as I know. So was the Lutz family allegedly ingesting the flower leaves?
I think they were just using a photo of the Amity house as a stand in for a creepy house, since the story takes place in a different country than the Amity house.
Too bad, since no one is entitled to free content, some people do TH-cam to pay the bills. I find ads annoying too but I’m not going to complain about it because it’s not only far worse on broadcast television, the money goes to giant corporations.

Purple Aki is what happens when you actually discover a cryptid, they just walk around harassing people and avoiding jail time because they're a cryptid
So I finished reading the book on the north pond hermit a week or so ago, and a few details were wrong or stated poorly. One is that knight could drive he first drove a car into the forest before abandoning it at the beginning of his hermit life. He also stole radios car batteries and a TV at some point. And rigged them to work so he could watch and listen to the outside world just fine at least at times. He also knew what the internet was in fact his family was an early adapter in the 80s with an early computer.
Wait. Go to the bridge Halloween night at midnight… so wouldn’t that technically be November 1st in the AM? Directions unclear. Did not find the Bunny Man but found Dirty Mike & the boys with their F shack.
the thing about hauntings is, that they aren't real. there's always a logical explanation. Even if you can't fathom what another explanation might be, it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

The common name for datura in the U.S. is moonflower. Devils trumpets usually refer to the “tree” version with downward facing flowers.
It looks like morning glory.
@@g1rl_veteranmoonflower is very similar to morning glory
My mom used to grow these gorgeous flowering plants along our fence row until we got a dog. She removed them to keep from accidentally poisoning him.
Moonflower also commonly refers to a night blooming morning glory. They both have big beautiful white flowers that look nearly identical. This has led to much confusion 😂
Datura and morning glory are both in the Solanales order along with chili peppers, potatoes, and deadly nightshade. They're in different families though.
In Europe we call them angel's trumpet

Why not instead of people going in with cameras to capture these hauntings and being called fake, put cameras all around and wait to capture this stuff on camera while the house is empty.
Cuz it won't change the fact that it's fake
Cause then they will be caught faking those hauntings.
😂 Hmmm...i wonder why
You're not very bright, are you?
I cant believe Purple Aki is on here. lol
I think teaching children that people who look different, have scars or burns or hooks for hands aren’t scary. Ted Bundy was a pretty normal looking guy but he was the serial killer.

I live in Hobart. West Hobart being about 5 minutes out of town and a place I drive through all the time. Not at all creepy, it' a beautiful place, even at night. Some people are just absolutely f**** beyond, it's kinda nutty aye.

He also knew what the internet was in fact his family was an early adapter in the 80s with an early computer.

the thing about hauntings is, that they aren't real. there's always a logical explanation. Even if you can't fathom what another explanation might be, it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
My aunt had a very cluttered home and blamed the crashes on a ghost. I never wanted to insult her, but I knew her home wasn't haunted.
