FBI deals with interstate or international crimes. Most murders happens locally or in-state which local police can handle. Once they leave the state or country, then it falls into FBI to chase them. Your local police have no jurisdiction beyond the city, county or state you live in. They will investigate the crime but the FBI still have to find them, that is why they have a "list" The list does not mean they are the most dangerous (notice the spousal murders), but people they want to get. Notice they don't have drug kingpins or serial killers. There is a reason why they don't put mob bosses on the list. They are long term investigation and don't want to show their hand that they are on to them.
I think its the brutality of the crime committed and if the fugitive is believed to have fled the state or the country for a certain amount of time which is when the FBI gets involved.

A piece of garbage named Louis Francisco Soriano has recently been added to the 10 most wanted list in Puerto Rico. In my city of Rochester NY, him and his brother were involved in the BRUTAL murder of a family of 4, including a 2 and 4 year old child who had nothing to do with whatever drama was going on. They then proceeded to light the entire house on fire to try and get rid of evidence. One of the brothers were caught and arrested soon after, but Louis is believed to have fled to Puerto Rico. Rochester has become a very dangerous city, but this is by far the worst crime to have happened here in a long time. Even veteran police and first responders were shaken by it and needed therapy.
FBI most wanted list in my mind: Cartel leaders, mass murderers, Rogue Agents, Underground Businessmen... FBI most wanted list in real life: Regular old singular murderer, candy shop thief, jaywalker, guy who didn't return shopping cart.
Well the difference between the list in your mind is they know who, what and WHERE those people are . The most wanted isn't related to what degree of a baddie the person is based on the # and level of crimes committed. The list is compiled of how elusive the person they seek information has been hard to be tracked down. The agencies WANTS to know and the lack of information of their whereabouts puts them on desired list to know more of them. Most wanted. Like a game of cat and mouse.
I've been watching your channel for some time and it's very interesting to hear your point of view for Ruja Ignatova as a bulgarian. Statistically women commit far fewer crimes
Its true. Men are responsible for nearly 80% of documented violent crimes.
men moment 💩
How does 1 single murder get you on the top 10 FBI list?....
Could be the method used
FBI deals with interstate or international crimes.
They are too scared to prosecute the crooks in congress probably. It’s really a pitiful list 😂.

I thought the list was gonna be the WORST crimes people could commit and it's just a normal day in Gotham
Is it just me, or does this list seem wildly inconsistent? I always assumed that the most wanted were people who could destroy lives on a large scale, like terrorists, mass murderers or drug barons. And when it gets to the gang members on the list they definitely qualify. But the first few people seem to be one time murderers, and surely there are countless one time murderers in the world? I don't see why these ones are more sought after than all the other killers out there?
It's not you. The FBI is a goon squad that is a political op. You don't think the long, strong, well-funded arm of the law couldn't find and extradite these fools post-haste? These guys are smarter than Bin Laden it seems.
People fail to see this list is less of "How severe are these crimes" are moreso "These people would take extensive resources to capture", which is why pretty much everyone on this list are people who fled the country.
Keep in mind this is a list that they just wanted to public to know, maybe so an anon tip can throw them a bone. They're putting a lot more resources into people the public aren't even aware about.
