Was the floor of the bunker concrete?
Did you spread the plastic bag to cover the whole floor?
You are welcome.Yes i did,but i put a torn cover so that excess water can drain to the ground.
Thank you for the informative video.Which mineral salt are you using and what is the use of the mineral salt .Please show us from the start how to put the paper .did you put a paper at the bottom or its just concrete.
i used molaplus super and magadi.The main aim of using salts is to fasten the famentation period as well as supplement silage with minerals for more milk production.Watch this video.

No.i covered all areas with polythene
Was the chaffcutter the electric one or the engine one, Am afraid the motor one can survive working for long hour or it does???
Mine i use motor.If you have original motor it can do the work.

to inhibit the growth of butyric acid bacteria (BAB) and increase fermentation.
So if I have much forage can I make the silage in 2 days to finish the remainder and then close it
You should ensile your silage within 24 hours.The soonest possible
Nice! Just wanted to ask, is the chaff cutter able to sufficiently crash the kernels?
Chaff cutter is not the best when making silage.I recommend using silage chopper.But if you don't have any chopper just use chaffcutter
