    Please have them wear mask when taking off the top. There is an illness called farmers lung that they can develop from inhaling mold spores

    Watching from kenya,to prevent your silage from moulds use a rubber string to prevent air from getting in instead of fiber strings

    Question; you say one can keep it in the drum for months after first opening? Is that so? If so what exactly should I do? I just shut the drum and leave it like that for months or?

    That's nearly how I make my silage for my cows, but I wet the grass a lilli with molasses, and seal the drum for days, then give it to them, jah know them love it.

    Molasses give the goats worms 🪱

    • @TrevorBernard03
      @TrevorBernard03  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not true. Bag feed has molasses in it it doesn’t give the animals worm. I don’t practice worming animals and don’t have such problems

    • @hanson4100
      @hanson4100 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't really give them molasses because I feed them out in the fields where I live....sometimes I will give them aleo vera the white part of the aleo vera bended and added to the water..helps with the cold and other problems
