IRBent2 I guess I'm just getting old, lol. My wife reminded me later that I worked there in 1980, so that will make the Lake about 40 years old, but it was drained several years back and restocked.
@@awfoutdoors6299 I was dabbling in fishing back then, mostly bank fishing. But a buddy carried me to Bibb in the late 80's or early 90's. At the time I just assumed the place had been there forever. I've been back twice since then, all in the last 6 months or so.
I've dabbled in fly fishing, for years, catching bluegill is so much fun. I'm not a purest in that I use a straight section of 4# mono or fluorocarbon with my fly.
Use a pair of believers to remove flies, not a stick! A stick too often push a fly deeper into a fish's gullet. Democrats allow for the hook to be easily grabbed and removed without damage to th fish.
Be sure to watch the three part series on "Catch, Clean and Cook "

Is that a good catfish/bass lake?
It is, I see people catching both on every trip I'm there.
I know where I am going to eat dinner tonight !
Nice catch
So what setup are you using?
I’m using an Eagleclaw 9’ rod in 5-6 weight, floating weight forward line, and a small floating fly.
How do you have your rod’s mounted in your vehicle?
There is a clothes hanger bar that goes across and my handles fit perfectly to support the rods, I just got lucky it worked
GOT TO GET ME ONE OF CANOES PUT ME STABILIZER ON.

I just noticed the spell checker changed my wording in my previous comment. I was referring to hemostats!
Thanks
