A quick quiz: 1. How to be safe on campus: a. Carry pepper spray b. Carry a mattress 2. How to get attention on campus: a. Carry pepper spray b. Carry a mattress
We do indeed now live, not in a "rape culture" in a "false rape accusation culture." False accusations are often rewarded, almost never punished, and never punished severely. --I should amend the above to note that every feminist claim for the existence of a rape culture in broader US society is surely true with regard to men's prisons here. Rape as a joke, rape as a coercive instrument (through which to compel obedience, and to compel plea agreements), rape as something normalized (200,000 men are raped each year, a rate given the population of US prisons of around a hundred times that for women in mainstream society)... All those claims are met in prisons, yet no feminist of note, let alone any feminist organizations or publications, have ever expended an ounce of effort towards reducing the amount of rape in prison.
In the second minute of this video Ms. Smith unwittingly parodies her own claims . She talks about taking to the streets when the system fails us, yet the system has largely eliminated due process and Constitutional protections for men accused of sexual assault on college campuses; Columbia University has allowed Ms. Sulkowicz to harass the man she accused despite his exoneration by Columbia's sexual assault tribunal; campuses are significantly safer wrt rape and sexual assault than the US at large, and the very low level of sexual assaults at Columbia was so embarrassing to the University and to activists that the University was reluctant to release the figures. Indeed, Ms. Smith, men should take to the streets to protest the insanity that has overtaken campuses, including the passage at many Universities of "affirmative consent" laws, laws that seek to insert government into the bedrooms of millions of men and women and instruct them in how they must perform sexually lest the man be vulnerable to rape accusations. As a progressive I could not be more appalled by the turn the left has taken. We have thrown away one of the most powerful chords in our voice--our cherished historic defense of civil liberties--for a handful of magic beans: over a crisis that is wholly contrived.
"Her piece?" Carrying around a mattress and lying about rape is art? There are no longer standards to art, art is apparently whatever people say it is.

She should be in prison for false rape accusations.

Turns out carrying a mattress around campus is not art. It's harassment.
"Herstory"?! You've become a laughing stock!
I did not know that lying was an art form.
she's amazing and so inspirational, using her for my essay currently
Charles Manson would like to talk to you about a book deal.
I see what you did there, that's funny.
You jokingly said that Emma Sulkowicz, the documented liar, is amazing and inspirational. Nice.
...I wanna see yoyououoyou

Feminism should be ashamed of this witch hunt..............
More men are raped through prison rape ALONE in America than women. This criminal belongs in prison.
this is one of the most powerful works of performance art i've ever experienced. just seeing a photo of it makes my pulse race and my eyes tear
Are you trolling or six years later you still don't know that she is a lying sack of shit?
