A lot of young adults from the UK and US already decided to leave their respective countries. And they have the same sentiments like you that its not getting better out there and the trap of working and working just to pay the bills. Thank you for choosing the Philippines, enjoy your stay.
Thank you 😀 For me from my time in nursing I experienced that life truly is too short. It was drilled into us to work hard for retirement and enjoy our lives then. However I unfortunately saw too many people not make it to retirement and realised we have to live each day to the full now as we never know what will happen.
if i had remote income i would too but then itll make the expenses of locals increase, this is the only reason why " adults " move to the philippines, due to their remote income

thank you for appreciating the Filipino people. Considering that the Philippines is the most disaster-prone country in the world according to many sources, it is quite amazing that we can still be happy. We hope you will learn much from us. :)
@@laurenelizabeth_athomewelcome to the Philippines! A friendly unsolicitedly advice that may sustain you financially. Hi Lauren, while you move around the 🇵🇭, try to look at houses, prices and comfortability of that place. Who knows, you could find a place less expensive than BGC with the same vibes. ❤
Yes, unfortunately alot of people are feeling frustrated with the UK! I do not hate the UK and maybe one day we will come back to the UK but at the present moment we feel more fulfilled elsewhere 😊
If u guys are tryin to raise a fam u made the right decision. PEOPLE here make a lot of diffetence.Your future kids wil learn and become more humane. There's a lifetime of places to visit especially Batanes which is like New Zealand
You're young, you have talent, make the most of opportunities in a bigger world. As long as you have your goals, objectives etc then you should be fine in the PH. Living in BGC has same or probably more quality of life than staying in London, New York, Seoul, Tokyo etc in far more developed cities. What is most important is that you can earn a decent living, have a good life and have money left in your bank. Then when things get difficult, you are free to move on or go back. There's nothing like getting stuck in a rut. All the best to you guys.

Hi! Welcome to the Philippines! Many expatriates from the UK are really moving to the Philippines for good. Both the Philippines and the UK have started sharing their cultures and traditions. You still continue working in Healthcare since BGC also has a good hospital catering to foreigners. My sister is working in the UK, and upon seeing the drastic changes I am seeing through TH-cam, I have this second thought about living there too. Dubai is too good to be true since I work there, and it's so expensive really aside from its scorching weather during summer I don't think I can survive there as a human coming from a tropical country.
Thank you! It is very sad how the UK is disintegrating. I really hope it can be improved. I am not sure if I am ready to work in healthcare again. Long term I would like to earn money whilst having freedom over my own schedule and location but I know nursing is always there to step back on. We have discussed Dubai or Cyprus maybe for our next destination, who knows what we will think. 😀
