Random Promises she didn’t try to commit suicide, she jumped off the cliff for an adrenaline rush because putting herself in dangerous situations was the only way she could hear Edward’s voice in her head

I have a love/hate relationship with these movies. They're like a guilty pleasure that I can't stop ripping on. My only defense is that "mist Edward" is Bella hallucinating, and only appears when she herself feels unsafe. The rest of this is on point 😂

If you have a couple of drinks and watch these movies with the Rifftrax commentary or the DVD commentary parts where Robert Pattinson rips on them (seriously, no one hated these movies more than he did), they become "so bad they're good" movies on par with "The Room" or "Birdemic".
Bella's bedroom holds enough lamps to be its own section of a thrift store, yet the room is still so dark that I'm half wondering if the scene is morphing into a Joy Division music video

To anybody complaining about the fact that everything listed in the video that didn't make sense is explained in the book, realize that when said book is turned into a movie you are going for a brand new audience in addition to the current fans of the books. If the movie fails to explain the rules of the world the characters are living in, and how things work for those who have not read the book, or do not care to read the book, then the movie has failed completely. Thus when discussing the hallucination Edward from Bella's visions during the movie, this was not explained in the context of the movie itself. Sure if you read the book you know the truth and importance of the hallucinations, but if you are only watching the movie a reaction to it such as this video had is perfectly justified....

You forgot the major sin for the fact that the exact day Edward was going to step out in the sunlight and shine like a disco ball, was a festival in the city to celebrate the extermination of all the vampires in the city.. Meaning that most likely any of the people in the city who saw Edward would have simply assumed that it was an actor hired for the parade going on at that very moment on that very street.. Nobody in the city would have thought any more of it then a person paid to walk out from an alley at noon wearing body glitter..

So Edward "appearing" to her as a mist is just the movie representation of Bella experiencing a psychosis of hearing Edward's voice in her head to tell her what to do when putting herself in danger. It's not a power he has, she's literally just going crazy.
