"What is it about the pasty, introverted Bella that makes everyone so drawn to her," This sums up the whole Twilight Saga.
Mmmm pasties.
I'm pretty drawn to her. But I like pale, dark haired, flighty ass dingbats
It’s more so telling the headspace of where the author was at in life. It’s more than obvious she has a thing for wolf people and vampires herself.. 😂😂😂
It's an escapism fantasy, it's why she has no personality too.
Especially when the school has Anna Kendricks, who loves showing off her boobs to the other students.
In movie three I’m surprised he didn’t sin Jasper for suddenly having a Southern accent
Right?
Exactly! Because I know I did. 😂
Fr I was waiting for it bc he goes from being mute to having a country accent? I preferred him mute😂
Does Jasper even speak in the first movies?
I mean, it's called code switching, he had to hide it when he was pretending to be Rose's brother (plus he barely talked anyway) but it came out when he was around people that knew their secret. For me it's more that it would randomly get super strong lol but at least the actor was actually Texan, not that they gave him a fake accent and he overdid it or something
The fact that he didnt crack up at the "you named my daughter after the lochness monster?!?!" Tells me how dead he was by the end of this series
peak acting by K Stew
Still find it hilarious that Robert Pattinson absolutely hated making these movies
Makes you feel better that Robert started working on more indie movies after this. The weirder, the better.
Only after the first one.
@@jbvader721 Gotta get the hollywood grime out as much as possible before getting back in 'em by soaking in the blood and tears of indie producers. That's juuuuust what the doctor ordered
he probably had more fun making the Harry Potter films
@@Krisjoverovovejovovichtski He was just in the one movie, though. But I still bet he had a lot more fun there.
As a former teenage girl, I confirm that Edward's hairstyle and makeup is the only thing that attracted me to the movie and Robert played his part so well.
Now as a grown woman, I think Charlie is an awesome dude.
I personally never though je played it well. He and stewart were both overly awkward and lacked emotion. People say thats how it was in the books, but not really.
The best in my opinion.
My friends gushed over Edward...I never thought Robert Pattinson was very good looking tbh. I always thought Carlisle was pretty good looking though.
I dunno, maybe it's because I'm now 40 with no nostalgia for the movies but when I did my Twilight marathon last month I thought Pattinson was not, well, really good in his role! Even worse than Stewart at times...
Although I agree that Charlie is awesome and not enough in the Twilight series. Also I forgot her name(Rosalie I think) but I still want a spin off of her story as a vampire bride getting revenge on the men who wronged her(as a Kill Bill fan I'd totally watch that!)❤
@@AnikMonettesame (Kill Bill style spin-off of Rosalie's story)
"Mist Edward" in the second movie isn't actually Edward. It's Bella hallucinating
Which the movie should expain.
@@valolafson6035Thankfully I knew that before watching the movies otherwise I would be terribly confused. I mean, I was already confused by how popular those movies were back in the day but that's another story!
And that's not worrying at all 😃
Bella tripping on vampire shrooms.
@@valolafson6035 tbf there is a lot of movies that dont explain shit and they're still good movies
30:20 Jasper wasn't newly turned into a vampire, he was only recently made to be vampire "vegetarian."
THANK you
Exactly
Yeah. He’s actually older than everyone but possibly Carsile (I can’t remember)
Theres 2 sins he forgot to mention.
1: Jasper getting a southern accent out of no where.
2: That moutain climber just climbing 1,000s of feet without a rope🪢 he's free climbing alone in the middle of no where, I geuss that's less crazy than the vamps & wolves though.
The lamps in Bella's room never fails to make me laugh.
"Oh, God. Another lamp."
Shoot, I need to get another lamp so I can design my press on nail sets, U think if I took 7 she would notice since all the other 54 was doing is collecting dust?
and two of those 10 lamps are dozens of little lamps 😂 😝
As a teenager when these movies came out they felt more deep but as an adult watching as much substance as water based soup.
As water based soup or just straight water soup?
@@chrisj7656 maybe a combination like a light tea with bubbly bits for some bite
So from what I remember of the books (I had *very* limited reading material growing up) the wolves don't chase vampires into the water because vampires don't lose any strength or mobility in the water- but the wolves do since swimming makes it a lot harder to chase and bite the vampire.
While unmentioned- I would also assume a vampire not needing to breathe is a major reason not to go fucking around in the water when trying to kill them.
Yeah, Bella's description of breathing when it's not necessary was pretty cool, and would definitely play a factor in a fight near water
In ancient folklore a vampyre could not cross running water
Which makes the logic of this universe even more ludicris.
The vampires in this universe have zero weaknesses( except blood lust, that several seem quite capable to overcome) while having extremely long life, superhuman strength, superhuman reflexes, near invulnerability to harm, immune to all diseases.
With no weaknesses/ drawbacks the vampires in this universe would have ruled the Earth, not been in hiding from humanity.
@@daverobson3084 fire can still kill them, as can real werewolves, and the shape shifters like Jake can harm them enough to tear them apart and throw their pieces in fire. Nuclear weapons would absolutely kill them, and missiles and the like with explosions/fire would definitely harm them as well. The thirst is something they can learn to resist for a while, but the longer they go without feeding the more powerful it becomes, and the weaker the vampire becomes-though I don't believe they'd ever die from not drinking they would weaken continually. Vampires also are very territorial and don't typically get along with others besides their own group, and have often wiped each other out in fights. They don't need to stay hidden they choose to because their lives are easier if they're not known of and humanity does indeed have the means to kill them.
@@SebasTian58323
But they are drastically more difficult to kill than humans. Go back 2,000 years, no missiles, no flame throwers, no nukes and it would take a small army, or rather brilliant tactics, to take down one vampire. They would rule the planet, not hide. Not most of them.
They would have people worshiping them , and some falling over each other to donate the blood the vampires needed to dominate the planet.
Werewolves and half vampire/human hybrid were immune from Alice's visions so that should've mean they wouldn't have been included in the battle with the Volturi army nor could Alice have seen the visions with Edward/Bella/Jacob/Adult Renesmee.
I always liked the theory that it was Zafrina projecting that vision & since Aro didn’t know about her particular powers that’s why he believed it was Alice’s vision when he was touching her hand (of course this would mean absolutely impeccable timing lol BUT I would absolutely believe that Zafrina would want to keep her power hidden from the Volturi as to not end up being forced to join them at some point)
I believe it's because, when Bella was pregnant, Alice spent more time around Jacob, Seth, and Leah, so her visions were slowly able to see the wolves. And same with Renesmee. The more time Alice spent with her, and Nahuel, the more she was able to see hybrids in her visions. I think the reasoning why Alice could see humans and vampires in visions was because she had been a human and was a vampire currently. She'd never been a wolf or a hybrid, so, since she had no experience with both in the beginning, she couldn't see them. However, once she spent time with and had to learn about the wolves and the hybrids, she could see them. At least that's the running theory that I've seen in several places! Hope that helps!
@Riverspirit86 the only way to make any sense of this shit is literally filling in holes yourself. And that for me, says everything lol
@melissafaye915 literally in the books but okay 🤷
@@Riverspirit86 which book specifically?
Just want to say "Mist Edward"was Bella hallucinating him and it was the closest thing she could get to having him back, and also Jane can't do the pain thing on Bella because she's a Shield and it doesn't work on her. There's another point I wanted to make that I can't remember, but I absolutely love this 😂
Why Alice can't see past the werewolves was because she was never one. She cancsee people and vampires because she was or is one it's also why she can't see renesme
The problem is, does the movie explain that?
@@valolafson6035it doesn’t. It also does state that Bella wasn’t hallucinating Edward … he was there. Which is why he believed she died.
@@silentmeklar1783he believed she died because Rosalie told Edward that Alice had a vision and was going to the house to check on Bella. He called the house to see if he could get information and Jacob made him think she was dead.
@@IrisofTrinity … oh ya that did happen. Man it’s been a decade at least since I’ve seen the worse love story to ever exist
As someone that read the books multiple times and watched the movies:
Bella was toxic by using Jacob which was crappy... Jacob was 'grapey' and toxic with his unwillingness to accept 'No' multiple times... And Edward was toxic with his 'I'm definitely right' self sacrificial bs
Still like them all and the books/movies but people don't acknowledge that EACH character had toxic traits at times
Also Edward's pedophilia.
@@biosaarihow’s he a pedophile
In what world is a story about Vampires and Werewolves NOT going to be toxic? LOL just part of the story man haha

Just doing it for the team y'all
I remember reading this when I was really young and thinking it was the greatest love story ever told. I revered these relationships and I wanted my very own Edward. Thank GOD I grew out of that eventually and got the boyfriend I did. An Edward/Jacob type could have taken full advantage of that thought process. Also love that it’s been turned into satire so people understand that this “love story” is terrible.
you're congratulating yourself with having a non problematic boyfriend as if that's an achievement or as if getting a dramatic love triangle was something you were in real danger of?
I mean love stories in movies and books at least if they're the main plot point need to be somewhat toxic or somehow different to be entertaining lol. Otherwise no one would read / watch it
@@liliancaran5364 I would disagree. Having an interesting plot does not hinge on toxic relationships at all. A healthy relationship not only has room to grow, but is also far less infuriating. You can root for it. A toxic entertaining love story like Bella and Edward is only needed when the plot can’t capture your attention in the first place
It wasn’t till I watched these videos that I realised just how many key ‘plot’ points from the books weren’t covered in the movies. I mean, I know it happens, Harry Potter is a key example. But those books were packed with info. The twilight books had so much teenage drama filler that made it to the movies but could have been left out, but the info that would explain maybe 60% of these sins? Nah, we don’t need to keep that in! They’ll know right?
yeah I watched them through with my girlfriend who absolutely loves the books, and at the end of each film she asked me what questions I had and then filled me in on all the stuff that the movies failed to mention and how the books explained them all
I saw them all ONCE and only once, way late, just so I could understand references and not be a hypocrite who makes jokes at the expense of something I dunno, I was surprised that after a movie and a half of Jacob having this long mane of hair that women seemed to ADORE that when he joined the wolf pack he suddenly cut it short, like huh? When I mentioned it, a friend who read the books said it was explained in the books, that long hair means long unmanageable fur when they're wolves, that's why they all cut it short. NO mention of this, NO demonstration of this, and as I recall NO notice of the change in the movie. Really? Bella doesn't question the hair change, before OR after she knows he's a werewolf? We probably could have lost a minute of teen angst for "I had to cut my hair because long hair makes long trippable fur", LOL!
Every single director and writer completely mishandled these movies.
Yes!! Movies can't rely on the book to expain everything.
I will say if they wanted to nostalgia bank like everyone is doing these days, they should make a twilight spinoff of either Carlisle and Esme OR The VOLTURI and their rise to power over the Romanians
You're hundreds of years old and you spend your time in high school!? It's like being a billionaire and working 40 hours a week at McDonald's, if you don't have to be there why be there!?

Yeah… but high school? Why not just get regular jobs? The actors look too old to be in high school. How is no one suspicious?
@@ArbiterofTruth well maybe youth is what drives them on

You can tell the actor who plays Aro is having so much fun in this role. I’ve seen him in multiple stuff and he is a good actor with the right script. Just like Kristyn Stewart and Robert Pattinson
I kinda miss the era of YA novels/movie series. They were pretty mediocre, but the fandom part of it was fun.
The Giver series (books) was pretty well written. It doesn't matter if it's YA - you can write well for the audience - or not.
Supposedly they're making a Gone show based off the books by Michael Grant. Those were written alright I guess so maybe there could be more YA shit soon
The Bella noises bonus round (5:39) is something I'm going to need to study further, for science.
What's the timestamp for the bonus round?
Just please don't make a drinking game out of it. You'd be dead within the first twenty minutes.

I love how you gave it more sins then needed cause you weren't paying attention to half of it but same lol
Edward's "Astral projection" should still be a sin, but not for the reason mentioned in the video.
On Stephanie Meyers website FAQ she says that it's Bella's subconscious trying to stop her from doing dangerous shit by making her see Edward. He's never actually aware of the stunts until Alice sees her "dying", then Rose tells Edward, and Jacob all but confirms it on the phone when Edward calls from Italy.
Jacob didn't tell the other wolves about Bella's baby. All members of the wolf pack can read each other's thoughts when they are phased into wolf form.
My God, when Aro had a stroke and the line he said after I’m dying laughing.
At least Michael Sheen was trying to liven up these movies. Everyone else was sleepwalking.

@@Krisjoverovovejovovichtski Blade is the only one who can be called a Daywalker.
Somehow, these movies make the Vampire Dairies seem coherent, consistent, and actually makes sense

"The natural venom that flows through Kristen Stewart." 😂
I rewatched the entire series and now that I'm older I realize Bella is the entire problem. People, vamps died and wolves got hurt all because of her. Selfish AF
100% agreed. I don't care. All I care about is being with Edward.
The books made it seem like there was a strong underlying theme of prophecy and fate. It seemed to me like there was a prophecy that renessmee would one day usurp the volturi. It makes sense that the volturi was gathering warrior to protect their power and why they feared the cullins. It gives credence to the scene in the book where Edward explained he felt compelled to love Bella out of some sense of necessity.... All these plot twists would make sense. Even Marcus purpose would make sense... But meyers never finished the story....
Suckling out the natural venom that flows through kirsten Stewart lmfao 🤣
One cinema sin that was not mentioned is that Bella punched one werewolf in the face and nothing happened to her vs later on she punched Jacob in the face same side and broke her wrist. Is Jacob face stronger than the other guy?
Yes the vampires faces were like glass apparently and the werewolf well like a wolf
Although some of the awkward scenes u pointed out were already explained in the books, this was BY FAR the best Twilight roast i'd ever seen

The fact that the kitchen is NOT painted yellow when it was such a a big deal in the book
The existence of that franchise is a sin, and possibly an even bigger sin is that twilight became the root for the existence of 50 shades of grey.
I wonder how Stephanie deals with the fact that 50 Shades and 365 DNI are part of her legacy 😂
WHATTTTTT This is insane timing. For the first time in my life, last night I decided to watch the twilight trilogy. So far i've watched the first 2 movies. It's very painful to get through them, i don't know why I'm doing this to myself.
You know what's crazy? Last night, My friends and I ALSO had a twilight movie marathon.

Love Twilight, most historically accurate vampire movie and I can prove it. All vampires stem from Dracula, and Dracula is based on a guy named Vlad the Impaler who was known for sticking pikes in the ground, putting grease on them and putting his prisoners on them anus first, then slowly over time, that pike would go through their anus, through their organs, and out of their mouth. Which is exactly what it feels like to sit down and watch a twilight movie. Not mine, but I can't remember the guy who said it.

Even with the books, no story has been more discombulating than Twilight. Wether it be lore, power systems, traits, character interaction, all of it. Even though TH-cam has made all of these films free to watch now. This is a way better way to watch them.
"Till I met a Mortal, Maria" Previously on Shadow the Hedgehog's backstory
l love how this compilation traces the history of CinemaSins, back when they were trying to go really fast through the dings so you had to slow the TH-cam speed, to now with a more reasonable pace.
Jeremy speaking facts throughout the whole video. 🙏
30:30 no he was changed in the civil war but he was “our recent vegetarian” meaning he changed his diet, not killing humans, he didn’t get changed like Edward or Rosalie 😂
"Run home Carlisle, get your head in the game!" I don't know why but that's my favorite part of this whole video
Looking back on this franchise it’s impressive Robert Pattinson, Kirsten Stewart, and Anna Kendrick still got careers after this franchise. Taylor Lautner however fell off the face of the earth
Nope, he did a show in the UK called 'Cuckoo' and he's adorable in it. Seems like a really good guy too x
The one movie where Taylor launter played the lead tanked because he was pretty much cast in twilight for two reasons: face and abs

Yes he is. Married, his wife's name is Taylor. They have children and he's extremely happy. Good family man.
30:23 He was the first one turned into a "vegetarian", so that is why it's so difficult for him to control his hunger and why he ran after Bella.
No, he was pretty much the last one in the Cullan family to become a "vegetarian." The first one is Carlisle, with his wife being the second I believe. But he still hunted like a regular vampire for years with Maria before that.
damn ive never been this early
My farts are better than CinemaSins’ farts 💨
I fully expected this video to be longer than the combined runtime of all of the Twilight movies.
12:42 this scene hit different in the movie theater
