Heyyy Vanessa!!! Thank you so much for being here and leaving some love. Congratulations on your new journey! I’m so excited for you. I've tried the whole rose water mist and oil combination and I still get that "dread rot" smell, so therefore, I just simply oil my scalp when necessary
@@AlexisHarris "the oil only" method actually is better than me misting my locz. It prevents my scalp from itching big time and of course, no dread rot odor. I typically use organic, cold-pressed oils
Great question! I personally keep my water and oil separate but my mom mixes hers. The only thing I keep in my spray bottle is water and I apply the oil after I spray the water on my hair to seal in the moisture. But it’s totally up to you!
1. Moisturize your locs/scalp with water yhen seal with oil 2. Sleep on a silk/satin pillowcase 3. Use a lint roller to gently remove any lint that got into your locs 4.
