That is a DPM Guide Rod and just make sure that you actually have a gun that was done by Cajun Gun Works and not put in by someone else. I have multiple that I have put parts in and one that was done by them and that one doesn't look like it has the Pro Package done to it. Just be cautious of that I have had individuals that have said it and it not be the case.

@@colt10mmsecurity68 I have cajunized multiple CZs myself and even if you consider the work done by Cajun is overrated it's objectively true that the parts make a difference. Different trigger weight, different break, and slightly reduced takeup/reset.

Yup that would be a good one to snag! But now the customer will see this video and realize he suddenly has an attachment to it. 😜 Wait what...12:38 i thought the main selling point for CZ was thier "low bore axis" that was exactly why i wanted one because they are said to be better shooters due to how the energy of recoil is displaced. Rather a muzzle rise with most striker fired pistols one would get more recoil towards the palms.

Awesome awesome awesome gun, awesome company. But… I still prefer the old school CZ 75 B model best. I just love the nostalgia of it and that it looks like a Browning Hi Power with a face lift and tummy tuck. 😂

I carry my CZ 75 SP-01 on half cock, no safety on. The trigger is protected in Vedder Holster and 1st pull is hard double action.

I guess they don't say "low bore axis" but that's pretty much what CZ explains in thier selling paragraph....
With a higher beavertail and undercut trigger guard, the shooter’s hand is able to be as close to the bore axis as possible. With a contoured slide, the majority of the reciprocating mass is also centered on the bore, equating to less muzzle flip. Increased weight at the dust cover/rail also helps keep the muzzle down.

Its all visual. Put a cz sp01 and a 1911 with the extended beaver tail bore to bore, and the trigger is EXACTLY the same height. Beaver tail too.

The design allows you to put your thumbs higher on the grip without touching the frame with the drawback of making it harder to rack. Besides that the inverted rail is just cool and different.
