Watching the shop come together and the builds you will be doing would be awesome to watch. I enjoy seeing the builds come together almost as much as the wheeling. Great to see you back.
Trail hero was awesome! Let's do it again, and again, and again!! Cool ppl, Otwells, Al, Tony and Carolynn!!! Thanks for the hospitality! (And Scotch)😁
Silly question maybe: that guy at 03:00 in, descending, was he not in low range? I see so many people in vids (not you) relying so much on the brakes. That other guy at 4:30, pretty exciting! That was close. 😅
@@offroadhub.official Thanks. Yeah, hard to say what I'd do. I don't know how these newer "smart" 4-bys handle in situations like this. Don't they have a Crawl Mode or something like that?? I guess that's probably intended for help beginners. Me, I'd just have to head down in 4-low (2.62:1) and in granny 1st (6.3:1) on my puny 32" tires, rolling under engine compression, and hope for the best. LOL But I'm sure I would be on the brakes too a little.... if I'd be even brave enough to try those hills. Might violate my rule about always coming home and with an undamaged truck.
@@SDwriter.and.surfer yes, Justons FJ does have Crawl Control, which is just an automatic manipulation of the brakes using the ABS system and wheel speed sensors. But as the 4runner demonstrated, being able to quickly roll out can be very useful. 😬
Really stoked to wake up and see Ken and friends back out on the trail making videos. Thanks Sand Hollow on the bucket list.
Thanks Dan! Sand Hollow is a great place!

Love the video. We had a great time in Utah(per usual). Met some awesome ppl, and very beautiful landscapes!!
Thanks for coming along Juston, you made the trip twice as fun!
How did I miss this video??? TH-cam!!!
TH-cam is mad at me for not uploading twice a week, so it keeps my videos more of a secret now. 😄

Hey I did an alternator in Cedar City in 2004 driving back from Vegas. Lol
Never underestimate the need for momentum!
Just the right amount! 👍
I have learned that. Not spinning tires. Just keep it moving.
@@Thexkidd It's not always about "crawling".
@@PeteHemdem explain?
@@Thexkidd Crawling implies going slowly. Sometimes you gotta put the coal to her!
Been waiting to see your rig out in the trails I love what you for me Toyota 🎶 🎤 🎵
#letsgoplaces 😄👍
Oh what a feelin'....
Great video! I need to make it out there one day.
Thanks! Yeah it's definitely a place you don't want to miss!
If your ever in Farmington NM again I would love to talk to you and possibly pick your brain a bit on fj set ups.
I'd love to get back there! You can always email me at offroadhub.official@gmail.com 👍
So much fun!
Thanks Scott!
How was the broken axle vehicle recovered?
I'm not sure. There were literally people lining up to assist, so I didn't get involved in that process.
20:10.customized jeep..

I'm sure he was in low, but even the lowest gearing with factory axles and tcase isn't super low, so brakes are necessary.

I was definitely in low, really steep with the hole. Plus I already knew someone had already flopped at this spot earlier in the day!!😱
@@justonpolson7690 Hah. here I am, the guy arm-chair driving, watching you from San Diego. Looked cool. Way steeper than it seems onscreen. Always is.
Looks like your truck has Googly eyes and going through the vnotch obstacle it was like “oh shit” lol
😂👍
any thoughts of heading to Tennessee, Georgia trails?..great video.
I think about heading out that way all the time. Unfortunately diesel just keeps getting more and more expensive! 😒
