@@invertbrid if you think that there is not interaction then you clearly don't play Yu-Gi-Oh correctly, most decks in the tcg have a lot of interaction it's just in matter of less turns but with handtraps and board setups (that are not omnigates) there is a lot of room for interaction, also Im sure a lot of us that play the game would hate being stuck in a game for 20 turns so your idea only works for the super casual yugiboomers

That Branded turn 1. I can’t. Maybe it’s different for other builds, but for Branded Despia, I would never do Albion pass under Maxx C. In that case, I would give opponent 2 cards to go Lubellion by sending Tragedy, Tragedy add Aluber, go into MJ, NS Aluber, add Opening, MJ banish Aluber send Albion, set Opening, End Phase set Branded in Red, Draw Phase Opening summon Quem, Quem dump Cartesia, then depending on what opponent does you can revive Cart, go Granguignol, send Ad Lib, which can go into Chimera revive MJ, and Gran can bring out Lulu or Quartitis.
I think we can all agree the majority of players do not want Maxx "C" back, even some OCG players have commented saying they don't know why Maxx "C" is legal as it just messes up creativity and make Yugioh more boring than what the TCG players make Yugioh out to be. Like the TCG has it better than the OCG because Maxx "C" is banned. And at this point Maxx "C" I think should just be errat'd so that it's no longer a problem or concern or card up for debate anymore.
Its crazy how only 6% of decks don't run it and that's probable people who downloaded the game and didn't make it past the tutorial because they don't understand what a link monster is lmao
I'm pretty sure they don't count lower ranks for the usage stats. It's really because a few decks legitimately can't play it, though I'm not sure how many of those are top decks in MD... but any deck that plays Shifter or Macro or D Fissure type effect will blank their own Maxx "C" if they use those cards. Same with decks that use Droll since Droll is reciprocal, though some play both and then just have to make a prediction in the moment about which will be more effective depending on what the opponent is playing. Finally, most FTKs don't want to play it because they can't make use of it going first and they pretty much have to scoop if they don't get the FTK, though I don't know how often FTK decks are represented in top ranks. Also, a couple people are on some sort of moral crusade and refuse to use it, but again, not sure how many of them make it to the top ranks.
To everyone bitching that want a slower game. Instead of asking for Maxx C back just go play GOAT and Edison already. We get it you like the game slow. I mean honestly doesnt even sound like YuGiOh is your game anymore. Go try standard MTG. Low power mostly games usually last to turn 6 if against aggro.
This Is Why I Don't Play Hand Traps General. My Opponent Used Chaos Ruler In Master Duel Milling All Three Maxx C Back To Back And Scooped Because The Duel Wasn't Going In His Favor.

Measuring how good a game is by turn count is arbitrary as hell. If a game lasts 5 turns and it is nobody doing anything because of maxx c how is that fun
