very helpful … thank you! I take responsibility for my health and to do so, I need all the information I can get … you make it very understandable … please keep doing what you're doing and again … thank you!
Thank You Dr. Gupta for being so generous with your time and expertise. Since you reported this very helpful information 9 years ago, have there been new cardiac tests developed that are non-invasive which would show any narrowing or the amount of blockage in heart arteries?
extremely informative! fully explained that even laypersons can easily understand what is shared, all probables of a heart even are explored and explained. If you or a loved one has a heart condition, you need to watch this series of videos.
I have had every known test that could be made on my heart and body and arteries etc.. Every blood test 11 ct scans, mri ,pet scan,9 chest xrays ,ekg's probably 25 of them and three echos five week or two week hospital stays and being monitored every time, had a heart monitor for a month out in the public and everything you could even suggest. Heart is structurally sound and arteries are in great condition and all organs functioning normally ,brain scans and also thyroid test and so many test I have lost track. I have been hospitalized at least 11 times in almost two years and there is nothing that would produce ectopics or skipped beats that can be found. Yet it happens at least once daily. It used to start after dinner at night and also random times during the day. Now it starts when I get up and usually continues until I go to sleep . During the night most nights no skips but I go to the rest room and sit on the commode and I get runs of trigemeny and bijemeny (not spelled correctly and spell check isn't working correctly sorry) but I am sure you know what I mean. Once I get up it sometimes quits but will usually go back into the same runs each time I go to the commode. I was hospitalized last when I was getting 32 skips a minute and this lasted for hours. They watched me and did test blood and heart test and gave me an aspirin and 50 mg of metrepolol. It finally subsided and after releasing a little gas it went totally away and they sent me home with 90 pulse. I am just at a lost as what to do and am becoming more and more depressed. I have seen cardiologist that have checked everything and says there is nothing wrong. I have tried to contact you via your website and given my email and asked that you contact me via email as I cannot really discuss what is going on in the message area in contact because of lack of characters. Please check your contacts from yesterday or last evening and contact me.I am so worried. I am 63 and eat well, small meals ,don't drink and live a healthy life style. I am so worried .I have watched many of your videos that does help because you seem to care , someone told me that you also suffer from ectopics and I was wondering if that was true. I started on magnesium tarturate and it keeps my heart rate lower but not sure it helps me with the skips. Please help. This is so unnerving and just lost as what to do next. I am disabled and cant walk or exercise much but I try to do what I can. I don't need the stress of worry as this is suppose to be stress free years. Please help. Thanks in advance.
Have you tried eating strictly whole food plant based, very low oil . You might want to checkout Dr. McDougall and Dr.Brookner (goodbye lupus) hope it resolves
What about the nitroglycerin they put under your tongue to open up the arteries during the CTA- I am so scared of it. My echo and stress tests have all been normal. I get random chest pains none when I exercise. Should I get the CTA?
Can MRA be used to find blockage in the heart arteries? This would be a non-invasive test, no dye, no radiation. I think this would provide MRI type images. I understand heart will not be under stress in this test. Can someone answer?
Hi, I had a stress echo today. The scans showed no issues, but there were electrical disturbances in ecg during treadmill test. Again no issues on scan after being told to stop. There were no physical symptoms at any point and I felt ok to continue. I had a ct angiogram 4 years ago which was all clear. The cardiologist seemed reasonably unconcerned. He has sent me for a ct angiogram but said he thinks it won’t show anything up and thinks in the end nothing will be wrong. I am 42, a former smoker, but otherwise in good health and I do about 15,000steps a day. Lipids are normal range and last blood pressure readings have been between 113-128 / 80-90. I am prone to stress over my health and feel like the cardiologist has not explained enough why he feels comfortable that nothing is wrong despite test that indicates problem. Is the correct course of action been taken and is it likely that no disease will be found despite this result?
I been tols my go the other dat i have a fast heart she dud ecg.is any thing can be done for this condition..Iam non smoker&drinker my heart beat is 107 at rest.i
Wow, thanks for that quick response. Are there any circumstances where this might not hold. I have high heart related anxiety following a misunderstood series of panic attacks almost four years ago and the worries and symptoms remain ever present.

No doctor ever seems to be up front that a "chemical stress" test is very painful in about 17% of people who otherwise have clear "plumbing".
Don't suppose anyone will answer, but how long can you rely upon a clear CT angiogram.
5 years
