    I can't count the number of times I've had a native speaker say, "Well that's just how it is. We don't think about it." 😂 I think the same is true for us native English speakers. When asked to explain, sometimes we can't. Great video. Thank you!

And i was curious how to say my ~ your ~ and I’ve luckily bumped into this channel!!! It’s so nice to see more of your channel and your teaching style and la ropa👔 are more casual than AIB channel😂 Anyway, ¡muchas gracias por el mejor clase!

    Thank you for another great lesson Danny! I did a lesson on Duolingo recently about this subject, and in their help section they said that the indefinite article is used a lot when doing comparisons.. for example you would say: "Tu carro es más rápido que el mío" (your car is faster than mine) rather than say "Tu carro es más rápido que mío" - would you agree with this?

    • @TheLanguageTutor
      @TheLanguageTutor  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, with comparisons you do say that. You are correct!

    The more languages you know the better you can associate ways a language works. I've never thought much about it but in French you'd say It's my pen, it´s mine (it belongs to me) ...C'est mon crayon C'est LE mien (C'est a moi) ! Es mi lapiz, es EL mío. But no Mío form in French.

    Hello Dr Evans, quick question. Why caer in its infinitive form when changed to present participle has yendo instead of iendo? Thanks in advance

    • @Choziee
      @Choziee 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, I think it's simply because it easy to say cayendo rather than caiendo, I mean they sound the same but cayendo with 'i' would be 'ca-i-yendo'. Just like el agua, it's 'el' when it's supposed to be 'la' just because it's easier to pronounce or something like that. I don't really know why but I hope this helps.
