- Is it mine or yours? Es mío o tuyo? Learn how to express yourself in Spanish. In this lesson I will teach you the possessive pronouns in Spanish. The possessive pronouns express what you possess. You will learn how to say in Spanish: "My house, my car, my mom, my bag" or "the house is mine, the car is hers, the keys are his, etc. You will not only learn how to say these Spanish words, you will also learn how to say them like a Spanish native speaker. From now on if you are asked "Whose keys are these?", you will be able to answer in Spanish. So start learning Spanish for free in the comfort of your home, having a hot coffee or a cold popsicle. I really like how you teach a topic completely. Even if you think you are going on and on, the truth is that not all the information needed to keep a person aware of all the parameters of the topic falls into the conventional lesson plan. So Anna I appreciate the extras. It helps me because I have many Venezuelan neighbors and it helps to get me to understand how the language connects to the culture and what will be interpreted in what way. Thanks Anna for all the effort you put into preparing these lessons for people like me.🙏

BUTTERFLY SPANISH!!!! Can you do a lesson about talking to your kids in Spanish? Like "How was school?" or "Close the door!" or "Clean up your toys" Stuff like that? My son is dual language in school and he is in 2nd grade and we are both learning. Gracias!

Ha! That would be useful. I'd be interested in a video on phrases to use in a human services job, such as helping victims of domestic violence. There is not always an interpreter handy and it would be great to have the skills to communicate with clients who need help.

It also represents reflexive forms..vestirse(to dress yourself)(irregular form)
So the conjugation would be
Me visto(i dress up myself)
Te vistes(u dress up yourself)(informal)
Se viste(u/he/she dress up theirself / yourself)
Nos vestimos(we dress up ourself)
Os vestìs( you all dress up yourselves)
Se visten(you all/they dress up yourselves/theirselves)
Her next video in my playlist is about reflexive verbs, which are for things you do to yourself. Por ejemplo, levantar(se) - to lift up or get up (yourself): En la manana, me levanto a las 7:00. In the morning I get up at 7:00. O, por un ejemplo segundo: En la manana te levantas a las 7:00. In the morning, you get yourself up at 7:00.

¡Casi perfecto!, te sobró el uso de "yo", ya que la forma verbal "veo" ya delimita la primera persona del singular. Te faltó la tilde en "vídeos" y te sobró también un punto al cierre de cada oración.

Daniel de Koning It's "este cuaderno" because "cuaderno" is masculin and "esta carpeta" because "carpeta" is femenin. "Este" for masculin nouns and "esta" for feminin nouns, other than that they're the same.

I am loving going through your lessons, your language was brought here by the Iberians in the Bronze Age, and every day I see that they brought their language with them, which has survived here for thousands of years. One of many I found today is "la cabra" and to go with it "Queso de cabra".....In Welsh, cheese is "Caws" hard "A" as in Spanish (all our vowels are hard as you have) and, goat is "Gafr".....

Bueno respecto de la corrección comentar que la sintaxis que emplea khaled alkhodair no es la mas usual pero no es incorrecta, en castellano hay mas libertad en este sentido. De hecho mi sintaxis suele ser mas compleja que la que emplea la mayoría de la gente, al menos cuando escribo. Lo único erroneo en khaled alkhodair es un error gramatical en el verbo ayudar y el uso de la preposición "que" y, otros dos ortográficos, la ausencia de mayúscula en el nombre propio y la ausencia de una coma, al emplear esta sintaxis alambicada. De esta forma podría ser la expresión correcta también:
"Muchísimas gracias por la nueva lección, Ana, siempre tus vídeos ayúdanme, [esto suena raro ya que lo común sería "me ayudan" pero no es incorrecto], a mejorar mi español :)"
Hola Ana. Tus lecciones son muy interesantes; las utilizo a veces con mis alumnos. Solo te recomiendo de usar mas el espanol y menos el ingles. Asi, los estudiantes van a aprender mas el espanol porque sera mas intensivo. Por ejemplo en un promedio de 2/3. Muchissimas gracias.

Esposas, not esposa, esposa=wife, esposas= plural of wife or more than one! but you're right jajaja you are handcuffed. depends how you use it in a sentence or phrase! ponle las esposa =put the handcuffs or el tiene muchas esposas= he has many wives! but I get what you are getting at, if you have 1 esposa you're handcuffed and if you many esposas than you're really handcuffed for life!! jajaja

The word ' de esposar' means handcuffing the prisoner.
The word 'esposa' means a wife!
Suggesting that " A wife is one who controls her husband" and not the other way!
In Tamil, my mother tongue, we compare a wife to a 'rudder'
which helps in steering the boats, the ships and the aircrafts.
It is the wife who has to guide and steer her husband in the right path and right direction.
A Great responsibility on women and wifes isn't it? :)
