    • @Fee.1
      @Fee.1 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Team_Nacho_Moto that’s quite the ignorant comment. It literally is demonstrably false/inaccurate. What you’re suggesting is that its being sold in a locked state so that money can be made again on the back end to unlock jt. What you’re failing to comprehend is that only makes sense if Kawasaki was the one choosing to lock it, and if kawasaki was making the money to unlock it, which they aren’t. So there’s nothing remotely stereotypically American or Capitalistic about this. Quite the opposite.
      There is nothing American/Free Market Capitalism about Govt. Mandates crippling a product, paying to get around said mandates is quite American though I’ll give you that
      In reality free market capitalism punishes such behavior. If there was a competitor to this bike that didn’t need this additional investment then all else being equal the market would punish kawi and sales would suffer.
      In this case though, there’s no free market economics to be seen

Call it an unlock if you like, reality is it is ABLE TO BE UNLOCKED, and easily, and kawi should be praised for that, they could’ve not given it to us at all, or decided to make it impossible to unlock like bmw bikes of late to protect the company from governments. @@Fee.1 Every manufacturer has to sell into a market with regulations. They have to sell a replacement for the 600's that are now effectively dead due to regulations. Has nothing to do with a manufacturer being kind and giving it to us at all. I'm sure they've done their due diligence in surveying the market and consumers well before taking this risk. Go ahead and take it back and sell nothing. I'll buy what I can get or hold off and wait for Honda or Yamaha to maybe release their inline 4's. Doesn't matter as there are options and I am reconsidering a slight bit here if a 600 or 750 super-sport makes more sense while it's still available. They effectively brought to market a bike that drives my spending decision their way. The 4's are pretty special and glad they made one as my love is with an FZR-400R. Kawasaki took a risk with development and good on them. It's to tap into a market and rebuild sport bike love and be within regulations. Yes they've done good there. I would've bought a ZX-25R had it been available and then regret it because it's too small. Who doesn't want a power rocket in a small package? We all know with 400 racing it's popular with the Ninja 400's as the bike of choice. This takes the sport to a whole new level. We're all just not happy consumers on this side get the neutered end of the stick. Will it stop us? No. We all know bikers are crazy and will do anything to UNLOCK 50% more power. • @ExticyOn2Wheels
      @ExticyOn2Wheels ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Definitely not. There are many things adjusted in the ECU. Fuel and Timing being the main obviously, if its throttle by wire almost all factory bikes close off the throttle substantially in the top end and not including the on off switch feeling being fixed. Nate definitely knows what he is doing over there. Im on my 3rd bike flashed/tuned by them, most recently my super duke r last week. Essentially your bike makes more power but also running more efficiently within safe parameters.

    Its not like 50% gain, the kawasaki claim in stock is 71-75hp, but just because the US restriction, it’s only produce around 50hp, i saw on the other channel, the factory sets the throttle only open for 50% when it reach 13/14k rpm, so with flash ecu and set the throttle back to 100% at 13/14k, the bike reach back to around 70+hp like the factory claim, i believe this bike can go over 80hp with tune & more mods in the near future, which is amazing, btw i have the zx25rr here in Indonesia, same features and bike, just smaller engine with 250cc in it, probs around 50hp, cheers

When people should start out on what they want to start out on instead of listening to some jackass on TH-cam ( COUGH Yammie Noob ) telling them that they're less than for wanting to start out on a parallel-twin sportbike and constantly shit talk them.
