There was a point where Ank had essentially cleaned out 205. But the UFC denied him a title shot for so long, after so many years undefeated, that now fans say his resume is crap. Great take. I think the Poatan glazing has gone a bit far. In a perfect world Dana would scrap the BS Stipe fight and have Jon Jones fight the winner of Blaydes Aspinall and Poatan would fight Magomed. That way everyone who deserves it has gotten their title shot and Poatan can move up to heavy weight if he wins.

Great take. I’m a fan of Poatan but I think his popularity and “aura” have gotten to fans heads making them think he should get to do anything. In a perfect world Dana would just scrap this BS stipe fight, jones would fight the winner of Aspinall Blaydes and Poatan would fight Magomed and then if Poatan wins he moves up to heavyweight and fight the winner of Jones Aspinall in early 2025
