This is a really really close comparison,in most of the occasions I would say the x70 pro+ gives a more detailed result, and the colors are more true to life, but again the mi 11 ultra color rendering is better in some shots, like if AI was enabled, in my opinion this due to the software updates, but this also means that the x70 pro+ is definitely gonna be better within a couple of months, in the selfie camera the whole thing is different as the xiaomi does way more accurate colors, without even mentioning you can use the small screen on the back to use the main sensor! In video quality they’re both good but not spectacular but still vivos does better with the color exposure in general, they’re both amazing phones!! Greetings from Mexico 🇲🇽!!
Very good job! But I would like to know 2 things: 1) Why don't you leave the X70Pro+ as it comes from the factory, with AI enabled? Regardless of the answer, I think it's important to show and talk about why you do this. 2) Why do you never see macro and high-resolution photos in this channel's comparisons? There is an audience that is very interested in such photos, in addition to showing more of the potential of smartphones.
This was another beast of a comparison here with the results being neck and neck. Wow man Xiaomi and Vivo put together some great camera systems this year. Can't wait to see iPhone 13 Pro Max in the mix with Google Pixel 6 Pro which I suspect to be the camera king this year. Loving the competition and better results that are trickling down to us.
For me, this is the closest battle comparison you've ever done han!!! If I were to give it a winner I'd give it to the vivo x70 pro+ namely because of the subtle details it gives. Especially the portrait mode!!! Although when it comes to non photo images I'd give it to the x70 pro+ because the only advantage it has is the lens flare reducing thing. Other than that none other!!! there is one thing I disagree with han tho which is the night time. I think its tied as the only thing the vivo did is increase the brightness which can be done manually (not sure if my eyes are wrong tho) thoughts? Winner : x70 pro+ is definitely the winner but only by a sliver of a hair.
Thanks for the great review!!! Selfies look more detailed on the Mi 11 Ultra and I seem to see some more details in the night mode photos on the Mi 11 Ultra too. But the Vivo X70 Pro Plus should also take great low light fotos without night mode enabled, shouldn't it?
Hi Han. I'm from India and I do casaul photography and for me the the selfie of vivo is better coz It's social media ready. Maybe it lightens the skin tone a bit but with vivo you don't need to tweak the image afterwards in light room or something to make it more pleasing and eye catchy. The colors just pop and I like this style. You just click the pic and post as it is. And for the back camera vivo wins again coz I find the colour rendition and image processing of vivo better and the Bokeh is just like DSLR. So no need to carry my camera everywhere if I have this, coz I'm pretty sure I can take mind blowing pics using the phone itself. Mi 11 ultra wasn't bad as well but I just prefer the vivos image processing in general. Crazy how far we have come in terms of mobile camera photography.
X70 pro + have pollished all its camara .in my opinion vivo x70 pro + is the best camera phone in world .it controls the light better than any other mobile phone in the world. Zeiss t* coating helping the camera to control the light and new vivo v1 chip really making the difference in image quality. Surprised to see Vivo stepping it up in photography this well. I'm a huge fan of the mi 11 ultra and its great. For portraits I do think Vivo x70 pro+ is clearly doing better. I like the color and sharpness better. I like the white balance for daytime photos better on mi 11 ultra better. Nighttime photo's are better on the x70 pro+ but not all the time. Video I think both have great video and mi 11 ultra has more pleasing stabilisation. I appreciate you effort and the result is a great video again!
Your channel does a great job. I hope you will make a video comparing the recording between x70 pro plus and iphone 12 pro max. The previous videos probably lacked the camera's ultra-wide angle comparison, which is small I'd expect.
The x70 pro plus won for me , but for selfies I like the mi 11 ultra cause it can use that big sensor for selfies , in day time shots it's hard to choose a winner but I like the colours of vivo x70 pro plus better cause it looks natural , but in indoor conditions I liked the mi 11 ultra colours more . The persicope lens of x70 pro plus surprised me , I didn't think that it can shoot 4k videos and it can compete with the mi 11 ultra in terms of photos and videos . But I'm sure the mi 11 ultra will win on zoom more than 30x. The daytime photos of mi 11 ultra are a bit more saturated especially the sky so I prefer the x70 pro plus cause it's looks natural . I enjoyed the video , it was really entertaining , the best camera comparison on the x70 pro+ on TH-cam . Great effort Han ☺️❤️
The comparison we were waiting eagerly on this channel! And the results were surprising. The main camera of mi 11 ultra has improved significantly after the update, where it can be seem performing far better in indoor lightning condition. The potrait lens of vivo is usp, as the 50 mm focal length gives it a dslr like output. The more surprising was the 5X lens, which we thought will be clearly won by mi 11 ultra. But vivo kept equally well with tha 8 mp lens. The ultra wide lens had some similar results. So overall my pick would be vivo, because of the wire aperture on the main camera lens and the potrait lens 😍
Mi 11 Ultra's photos look more editable due to less contrast. But Vivo's photos have an eye catching natural vibe that i can't describe better. Also Vivo's colors remain the same throughout the zoom levels. At least that's what I noticed
For me in the selfie segment Mi 11 ultra won...but but listen It has better sensor which capture more details... a little bit less noise....butt..colours are more of my type in vivo...it look more promising Conclusion. ..*subjective*....i chose vivo x70 proplus selfie camera because of colour grading but ..if we are going yo use mi 11 ultra back camera for selfie then it would be phenomenal...why can't we 😁😁😁 For rest of photos i will definechose vivo(gimbal is one of the main reason) 1..It's colour are more eye pleasing 2Very imp better potraits 3better detalis 4..Magic of v1 chip😁 need a phone to gift it to my papa...hopefully yyou help me😢
What I can understand after using x60 is that vivo goes higher iso and slower shutter speed as compared to other where it hurts the highlights sometimes
In my view regarding selfie, vivo x70 pro plus is better. Cause it's eye pleasing and skintone is better then mi 11. Though mi 11 has better dynamic range, but selfie is all about human subject. So vivo is better.
Both the phones performed exceptionally good, but to choose one better than other I think vivo x70 delivers a bit better selfie than mi1, the photos of x70 shows the actual skin tone of human subject, which is more important.
I like the Mi 11 Ultra selfies better, but only a little bit better. It has a little more contrast than x70 and I like that they have darker shadows. The x70 selfies are a little too bright and they brighten the shadows too much, and their selfies seem a little flat and over saturated. I hope there's a way to turn off their beautification though. On both, the skin texture is a little unnaturally smooth. However, both selfie cameras seem to have good dynamic range. Overall, I do like Vivo X70 pro+ better in other conditions. The color and white balance is more pleasing (Mi 11 Ultra seems to have a purple cast on some of the sky shots), and the details seem better. Thanks also for your channel! I would request you to compare vivo x70 pro plus vs x60 pro plus vs x70 pro. Because in Indian local markets the price of x60 pro plus will drop very much after release of x70 series. So it is important to know whether x70 pro plus is really a big upgrade in terms of camera or not. Or if x70 pro and x60 pro plus are at par? Because we will get x70 pro and x60 pro plus in same price. So which one will be the best buy and value for money is lot confusing !!!
Love your videos! Just a helpful comment maybe. Have Anna pose for each phone when taking pictures so she gets a front view or her best angle on both phones. When you say that anna likes the Mi 11 better it seems she posed more for that phone. (5:49) And I only noticed some stuttering on the Mi 11 at 10:25
Hello Brother Han , Vivo X70 Pro Plus wins the battle against Mi 11 Ultra in most cases except Selfie Photos & Selfie Videos. Too Bad Vivo forgot to upgrade the Selfie department in Vivo X70 Pro Plus 🤗
These phones are extremely close in performance. They are both awesome but there is one that does better. The Vivo X70 Pro+ did better with its excellent night mode photography and more natural portrait photos. The Xiaomi Mi11 Ultra did better in selfies due to not having a beautification effect and skin smoothening. The Xiaomi also had kept the details on your faces and had true to life skin tones. Wide and Ultrawide photos are very similar but the Xiaomi has more contrast and saturation, it keeps the shadows looking more natural compared to the Vivo which brightens them slightly too much. The Vivo did not do a bad job but it made the photos look a little bit overexposed. Videos are almost the same in both and I think that they are equal in performance, it is now a matter of what YOU like best. The Vivo X70 Pro+ will always have BREATHTAKING highlight control because of its unbeatable Zeiss T* Lens with anti-reflectove and anti-glare coating. Although it restricts the amount of light hitting the sensor, it does not degrade the photo quality at all. Your videos are awesome Han! ❤️

For me it is hard to choose which one is natural,we don't know how actual scene looks like,difference is Xiaomi have contrast and vivo got slightly warm flat brighter image(but indoors looking well balanced with better contrast) So daytime I'll choose Xiaomi and in low light/artificial light I'll go with vivo
Nice video Han, Tnx Both did great, in video and daytime landscape photos I liked the ultra since it was sharper in depth of view and maybe also better colors. X70pro turned this to an advantage on portrait photos and videos, giving better bokeh, warm skin tones and nicer pictures. Both great camera phones, wish they would sell them in my country.

Vivo has really set a benchmark with X70 pro plus. I am pleasantly surprised by the 5x zoom comparison as I thought that Mi 11 Ultra will beat X70 pro plus hands down due to 48MP Imx 586. From Selfies perspective, there is no match really. Everything on Mi 11 Ultra is better - color rendition, details, dynamic range, edge detection, color balance, exposure and so on. But it is expected because we cannot pitch GN2 against a secondary lens that is mostly used for selfies in phones. Wishing you all the best for channel success in a big way
Overall I think 11Ultra is better. Vivo has a little sharper pics and more contrast but not better. I appreciate more a picture in which I can increase the brightness than having a burnout whites.
Of course the selfie Camera is better on Mi 11 ultra. Better details, sharpness, contrast, better skin tone. But i think the x70 pro plus is better overall. The x70 pro plus manage to grab more details, the photos seem a bit sharper, maybe even slightly better color rendition for maintaining natural scene.
I love how Vivo did it. Amazing cameras. The problem is that I cannot find Vivo in my country. Amazing selfie, an rear camera. Much better than the Xiaomi Ultra. Photos in artificial lighting conditions are the best on x70 pro+ hands down. Most of the daytime as well as night time photos are better on the Vivo. I'm really impressed with both the phones but Vivo wins for me..🔥🔥
For me Vivo X70 pro plus is the king in camera segment....Selfies may be goon on Xiaomi but I like the bokeh, astrophotography ,etc on the Vivo so if I had to select between these two Definitely I would have gone for Vivo😍❤✌

Great job. Two excellent camera phones. They are closely matched in most areas but I think the Vivo x70pro+ had a slight edge especially because of the extra portrait lens. I also preferred its slightly less contrasty video but that's my personal preference. Had a look at one today and it feels nicer in hand than the mi11 ultra too

Well, for me 90% of the photos were better on vivo x70 pro+ except some day time photos. As you said the colors are better on vivo but in video mode the stabilization of xiaomi is still better, its something tgat you can feel it when you walk or when you want to record a video while you are driving. But over all its a win to vivo x70 pro+. And thank you for the video, it was really useful.
Mi does have better rendition of colours while Vivo definitely puts the pop in photos. But night mode puts a slight edge on the Vivo's exposure control. Otherwise, practically similar.

In selfie photos the clear winner is the mi 11, better color rendition, More saturated, more details, More vivid colors,the skin tones seem more realistic and so the human subject overall. The vivo only does a better job at shadows.

Vivo with marginally smaller main sensor but with good software optimization with zeiss partnership and custom VI ISP, almost beat Mi 11 Ultra in many occassions. Daytime and ultrawide photos have better exposure, whitebalance and true to life color tone on Vivo x70 pro plus, however upon pixel peeping heavily Mi 11 Ultra and Vivo x70 pro plus have mostly same level of details. The rear camera selfies of Mi 11 Ultra are having lots of details than Vivo x70 pro plus but it is clicking slightly darker images. If Mi 11 Ultra brings slightly better exposure to rear camera selfies, then those are the best selfies ever produced by a smartphone till date. I was eagerly waiting for this video. thanks for brining it.
@@lukemothug If pixel 6 pro is cheaper than x70 pro plus, then it is a great choice, however for sure pixel 6 pro definitely costs more than x70 pro plus atleast in India. x70 pro plus with all the great cameras and hardware will definitely beats pixel 6 pro in price to performance easily and is great buy over pixel 6 pro ;)

I would request you to compare vivo x70 pro plus vs x60 pro plus vs x70 pro. Because in Indian local markets the price of x60 pro plus will drop very much after release of x70 series. So it is important to know whether x70 pro plus is really a big upgrade in terms of camera or not. Or if x70 pro and x60 pro plus are at par? Because we will get x70 pro and x60 pro plus in same price. So which one will be the best buy and value for money is lot confusing !!!

These phones are extremely close in performance. They are both awesome but there is one that does better.
The Vivo X70 Pro+ did better with its excellent night mode photography and more natural portrait photos. The Xiaomi Mi11 Ultra did better in selfies due to not having a beautification effect and skin smoothening. The Xiaomi also had kept the details on your faces and had true to life skin tones.
Wide and Ultrawide photos are very similar but the Xiaomi has more contrast and saturation, it keeps the shadows looking more natural compared to the Vivo which brightens them slightly too much. The Vivo did not do a bad job but it made the photos look a little bit overexposed.
Videos are almost the same in both and I think that they are equal in performance, it is now a matter of what YOU like best.
The Vivo X70 Pro+ will always have BREATHTAKING highlight control because of its unbeatable Zeiss T* Lens with anti-reflectove and anti-glare coating. Although it restricts the amount of light hitting the sensor, it does not degrade the photo quality at all.

For me it is hard to choose which one is natural,we don't know how actual scene looks like,difference is Xiaomi have contrast and vivo got slightly warm flat brighter image(but indoors looking well balanced with better contrast)
So daytime I'll choose Xiaomi and in low light/artificial light I'll go with vivo

Both did great, in video and daytime landscape photos I liked the ultra since it was sharper in depth of view and maybe also better colors. X70pro turned this to an advantage on portrait photos and videos, giving better bokeh, warm skin tones and nicer pictures.
Both great camera phones, wish they would sell them in my country.

Vivo has really set a benchmark with X70 pro plus. I am pleasantly surprised by the 5x zoom comparison as I thought that Mi 11 Ultra will beat X70 pro plus hands down due to 48MP Imx 586.
From Selfies perspective, there is no match really. Everything on Mi 11 Ultra is better - color rendition, details, dynamic range, edge detection, color balance, exposure and so on. But it is expected because we cannot pitch GN2 against a secondary lens that is mostly used for selfies in phones.

Overall I think 11Ultra is better. Vivo has a little sharper pics and more contrast but not better. I appreciate more a picture in which I can increase the brightness than having a burnout whites.

Of course the selfie Camera is better on Mi 11 ultra. Better details, sharpness, contrast, better skin tone. But i think the x70 pro plus is better overall. The x70 pro plus manage to grab more details, the photos seem a bit sharper, maybe even slightly better color rendition for maintaining natural scene.
I love the overall performance of Vivo X70 pro+ especially on skin tone rendition and that 2x telephoto is quite a bonus for better portraits.

I love how Vivo did it. Amazing cameras. The problem is that I cannot find Vivo in my country. Amazing selfie, an rear camera. Much better than the Xiaomi Ultra. I hope that the Vivo Os it will be rhe same and better than Miui. I never tried Vivo but with this amazing work with the X70 Pro + Vivo got me.

Great job. Two excellent camera phones. They are closely matched in most areas but I think the Vivo x70pro+ had a slight edge especially because of the extra portrait lens. I also preferred its slightly less contrasty video but that's my personal preference. Had a look at one today and it feels nicer in hand than the mi11 ultra too

Well, for me 90% of the photos were better on vivo x70 pro+ except some day time photos. As you said the colors are better on vivo but in video mode the stabilization of xiaomi is still better, its something tgat you can feel it when you walk or when you want to record a video while you are driving. But over all its a win to vivo x70 pro+. And thank you for the video, it was really useful.

Mi does have better rendition of colours while Vivo definitely puts the pop in photos. But night mode puts a slight edge on the Vivo's exposure control. Otherwise, practically similar.

love mi 11 ultra selfie for reproduces natural skin tone with good white balance.
In selfie photos the clear winner is the mi 11, better color rendition, More saturated, more details, More vivid colors,the skin tones seem more realistic and so the human subject overall. The vivo only does a better job at shadows.

Vivo with marginally smaller main sensor but with good software optimization with zeiss partnership and custom VI ISP, almost beat Mi 11 Ultra in many occassions. Daytime and ultrawide photos have better exposure, whitebalance and true to life color tone on Vivo x70 pro plus, however upon pixel peeping heavily Mi 11 Ultra and Vivo x70 pro plus have mostly same level of details. The rear camera selfies of Mi 11 Ultra are having lots of details than Vivo x70 pro plus but it is clicking slightly darker images. If Mi 11 Ultra brings slightly better exposure to rear camera selfies, then those are the best selfies ever produced by a smartphone till date. I was eagerly waiting for this video. thanks for brining it.

@@lukemothug If pixel 6 pro is cheaper than x70 pro plus, then it is a great choice, however for sure pixel 6 pro definitely costs more than x70 pro plus atleast in India. x70 pro plus with all the great cameras and hardware will definitely beats pixel 6 pro in price to performance easily and is great buy over pixel 6 pro ;)
@@manishmogili2156 if you get the base Pixel with the least amount of storage it should around the same price as X70 Pro plus medium to high storage and no it won't beat the pixel in the cameras as googles software is far superior and maybe only in some aspects of zoom the X70 Pro plus might have some advantage.
