@Juned Khan It will only damage the battery if overheating occurs, which most phones nowadays have come up with some ways to minimise the damage. Vapor chamber, multilayer graphite cooling and splitting the battery into two. So fast charging is fine nowadays.

Because it's not really transparent they don't make transparent backs anymore most of those who had to have custom done anyway that's just for looks at aesthetic to help raise the price that's why nobody's talking about it it's another gimmick another showing point that does absolutely nothing for the phone half the time you won't even see it because it's facing the opposite direction of you or you're going to have a case on it

@@sauravsharma8461 Yeah it's great on flagship phones. No ads and all and uninstalling all the pre-installed bloatware is super easy. One thing that I don't like about MIUI is its home screen which can be easily changed by installing a launcher. Not much to complain about the UI if you have used it on a mid-range or high-end phone. The only bad thing I can think about is that it's Chinese.

Honestly, Mi 10 is seriously the best bang for your buck phone out there. Excluding iPhones of course, but even if the SD865 isn't more powerful than the A13, the mi10 overall just makes it unbeatable for it's price...

We already had that feeling from the start because other than the Mi 10 Pro, all of their phones were worth their price tag. The Mi 10 Pro Global Edition (with the play store) started at £999 which was a huge letdown because that was the one phone that didnt really give the best bang for your buck, the price was just average with other Android phones

But other than that how much more of a phone you can get than that? You might say OnePlus 8 is viable opponent but it's not. Smaller display, no DDR5 RAM, no UFS 3.0, speakers are worse. Xiaomi is and will remain, I hope, the go to people when it comes to worth it tag. Even Mi 10 Ultra with "only" 8 gb ram/128gb storage is a steal for $800 it's insane if you ask me.

@@stockfish3379 The UI got a thumbs up here. What's the issue with it? Is it slow despite the specs? Or poorly organized? I've never used MiUI but I wouldn't shit on something for being different. The bloat sounds a bit much though.
Using Poco F2 Pro here on MIUI 12. MIUI is incredible, the looks and the animation is fancy, but I do notice some bugs here and there on the software which can be fixed if you restart your phone, but overall, it's amazing! 9/10

Xiaomi makes flagship phones cost €400 compared to others at €1000.... now with the ultra flagships it's no suprise that they're still at 50% or less of the price.... it's crazy how much you can save when you don't pay billions in marketing, branding, bloated management etc.... it's not like xiaomi has to pay any less for the things in the phone than samsung because both literally have to buy of the same suppliers (of which samsung is a huge one)
@@LoFiAxolotl I think the largest part of it is R&D, something you don't pay for if you adapt the features later then the brands that introduce them first. This is also something China really excels at, adopting known features & produce them cheaper.
They make a ton of money from ads in MIUI and selling other products. They have stuff ranging from smart scooters to air purifiers to smart toilets.
I guess their phones being people into their ecosystem. They make very little profit of their phones directly.

@@fusseldieb also it was not your fault. Samsung got caught for advertising the phone as water proof when in fact it didn't have any certification to prove that. Lots of s7 egdes went down the drain because of this. In my case I just need to switch the motherboard(I hope). This will cost around 45usd if you find the right seller.

Not really. There are a lot more factors to consider when pricing a phone than just hardware cost. Xiaomi saves a lot of r&d costs by just copying other designs in both hard- and software. They also focus on the Chinese market, which has a lower sales tax than at least all European countries (I don't know about the US) and far less restrictive consumer protection laws (especially compared to Europe). Additionally Xiaomi is most likely heavily subsidized by the Chinese government and labor is just way cheaper.
When buying an iPhone or a Galaxy, a big chunk of what you're paying is used to develop and improve new and existing technology, and that is really expensive.
