I'm sharing my review of the iconic Vogue V2000 wrap dress designed by Diane Von Furstenberg. Here is a link to my historical review of the wrap dress th-cam.com/video/6sqO_Jyzp2o/w-d-xo.html
My best friend and I made this dress back in the early 70's. We chose the same fabric and I then made another dress in a different fabric. We were so chic, lol.
This is amazing! I love how this pattern has history in the sewing community. Thank you for sharing this. I'm sure it was a hit back then as it is today. I would've loved to see you and your best friend wearing this! ❤️
Hi. The dress looks lovely on you. The colors looks great, your hair and makeup. You need to go out to dinner or something and show off the dress, just beautiful. Have a nice day.
Hi. I love your dress so much that I have purchased the pattern. I could not decide whether to order the size 14 or 16 block. I've opted for the 16 but will definitely do a toile of the bodice.
I made this dress in a woven and made SO many adjustments. I had to make the bodice longer. I’m 5’8” and long waisted. I also had to make a full bust adjustment. Even with the FBA I think I added 1.5 inches to the wrap front to get enough coverage. I made 2 muslins to get it right. So while the pattern says appropriate for woven. Next time I would use a stretch fabric.
Yes, always do a muslin before making any wrap bodice. You never know what you're going to get. I hope you enjoy the pattern and get a great wearable garment.

I think that's fair. I definitely had to make a few changes myself.
Good review. I’m making this as well but I really should have done the muslin first.

Sounds like this is a pattern I would want to find some thrift jersey sheets get the bodice worked up.
I’m interested in knowing how you added that inch in the over wrap blouse part of the dress??
It’s a very simple adjustment really. I’ll have to show you in a video.
