I would ADORE a Mass Effect-style branching storyline system where your actions effect the plotlines. Would be so good for this game. I pray they DO NOT make it multiplayer, it would absolutely ruin the gameplay for me.
@@Nargon46 i agree! i don''t think a game like this should be multiplayer, imagine how multiplayer + troll mods would just ruin the gameplay for some...
i hope that the game would a) allow all houses to visit azkaban prison + add more quests & gameplay to it, b) i wanna see a "battle of hogwarts courtyard apocalypse" type thing for the final battle (students, teachers, spiders, etc etc etc), because that would be so cooool omg !! edit: ADD MORE GAMEPLAY FOR RAVENCLAW PLEASE - ive seen a lot of people complain on tiktok about how ravenclaw is like, the worse house bc of the limited side quests, but if thats true, i hope they add more for ravenclaw!!
Yeah, at least then we didnt need to pretend that we are not Poachers even though we are basically doing the same things for the same reasons (Kidnapping creature from there natural habitat for ingredients and or to sell them)
That was the major disappointment with the original game. Especially when they added the capability of learning dark arts magic. The world should react to our behavior. Kind of like in the original Fable game. If I want to be the next "his name shall not be spoken" type character, let me and let the world react accordingly.
I came to say the same. Over all I didn't feel like it gave us that Hogwarts student experience that everyone wants. You go there for classes, and there's some of the hidden items and puzzles, but other than that, the school was fairly pointless. I saw people saying they wished we got basically Person 5, just HP, and honestly I agree. Even if they had this type of a battle system, keeping it more based around being a student and doing things around the school, it would have been so much better.
More classes to upgrade spells and make them more powerful instead of perks on gear would be great then use perks for health or broom stats and stuff like that would be cool
Tri Wizard Tournament would actually be interesting in a hogwarts legacy sequel Apologies just noticed my phone autocorrected to “Try” instead of “Tri”
I would love some kind of bully structure for hogwarts legacy 2 were you have classes everyday and if you skip classes you can get caught by prefects and lose house points
@@dank6129 so it could be similar to the bully game done by rockstar. There was lots of bullying in the movies and sometimes wizards killing each other. Rather then getting a game that feels like its made overly light hearted like the first hogwarts legacy we should have something where the MC is in a wizard’s college or something. I think with the age of most harry potter fans, we deserve a more serious game made for adults
@@smokeytokegaming3347 "wizard college" is wild, but I could see a more mature Harry Potter game doing well. Like if they made a game where you were an Auror, I'd be all over that. Imagine LA Noire in England as wizards.
Nothing else matters expect: 1.broom improvements 2.Spell slot quick slots (eg. hot key for room of requirements spells) 3. Morality system 4. Classes are a reason for failing (maintain gpa) 5. More dynamic activities 6. House points matter
Features: A morality system, more class time & accompanying spells, e.g. DADA class with a goal of learning the patronus charm, a companion component...pretty much everything listed in the video sounds good to me.
My WISHLIST for Hogwarts Legacy 2 : We need classes to matter. Just attending to unlock a spell is not enough. There should be a challenge for every spell and a grading system for how well that class challenge was completed. If out of 5 stars you only got 3, then your spell won't be as powerful. We need curfew to matter and prefects patrolling the hallways, as well as ghosts - imagine Peeves working like Mr. X from Resident Evil 2. We also need an honor system in and out of school. If you're going down a villain path, shop owners might not even want to trade with you sometimes, and if they do, they charge a lot more for items and give a lot less when buying. Professors might look down on you and even punish you in different ways if word comes to Hogwarts about your extracurricular activities. You should be able to unlock friends (and enemies) by going on the right path or dark path and these friends should come with unique side quests, apart from main ones. Also, the house you choose should come with at least 20 % different quests than any of the other 3, to increase replay value. I personally want more character customization, something like inZOI has for faces and bodies. We should get Qudditch practice sessions. No official school championship. Why ? Because we should absolutely get the TriWizard Tournament as a main aspect of the story, and that tournament should be held at another wizarding school, my choice would be Beauxbatons school. Of course, you would be able to go back to Hogwarts when the TriWizard story arc is complete and when the story is over you could go back to Beauxbatons to further explore the area. Probably the area surrounding the french school should be just as large as the one surrounding Hogwarts. It is a game that comes out in 2027 at the earliest and 2030 at the latest, after all.
i dont even want i super cool story. i want to just start a regular first year and go till 7th year. i want to just be a student. have a time (curfews, classes every day, quidditch, etc) i want to be a hogwarts student. not some hero. i want us to actually have to pay attention in class, study, take owls, and more) i want it to essentially be a school simulation (and i want a two player game so me and my bff can play together)
The upgrade of Hogwarda legacy MUST HAVE: 1. The diagon alley. 2. No meaningless clothes/items. 3. Zero micro transactions. 4. Quidditch, a house points system, night hours and punishment. 5. Closer mechanics to what Ubisoft did with the first games. 6. Usable rare items. 7. Apparition and dissaparition. 8. Ministry of magic + full Gringotts. 9. Aurors. 10. Actual classes. 11. No BS room to get potion ingredients but tasks and places to get them. 12. A companion pet. 13. Kings Cross Station (including the platform 9 3/4. 14. Azkaban. 15. Bank account at Gringotts. 16. Quidditch World Cup. 17. Invisibility cloak and deathly hollows. 18. Timeturner mechanics. 19. Werewolf’s, dementors, boggarts, and all missing creatures. 20. Candy from the books. 21. Train rides, thestrals, etc. 22. HW Legacy missed a lot, as great as it was, can we stay closer to the lore??? Lmk if I missed anything.
They NEED more rpg focus. Most of the point of the game is to fulfil your fantasies of attending Hogwarts yet in the first game it felt like I was just going along for a pre determined ride
In terms of story, I think Sebastian's story needs a proper conclusion. They built this whole thing up with his dying twin sister, and the MC possibly being the one that can help her break the curse, only to leave that entire plot hanging and incomplete. And I think what happens next for Sebastian, should be tied to whether or not you chose to turn him in at the end. That, to me, was one of the most meaningful decisions you'll make in the entire game, and thus should carry some weight going forward. I'd be REALLY disappointed if they just move on without dealing with his story first. Every other companion got a proper ending, accept Sebastian and that was a HUGE disappointment for me at the end of this game. So, I'm hoping it was deliberate and that they're planning on finishing out his story in the sequel.
oh this is a great idea!! the yule ball would be so fun to experience and get ready for, especially if they decide to fully lean into the rpg/persona5 route everyone's been talking about.
If they're gonna do anything remotely online, make it a separate entity (like GTA online) where you can invite a party of online friends to explore around Hogwarts with. Otherwise, avoid. I enjoyed the multi character style of the POA Playstation 2 game, switching between characters to use their exclusive spells ect.
Totally! But I think it should be based on whether you want to play with friends, or not. For example, the same story, but you choose the online option where you can play that specific story with friends, or you choose to play solo, in which case you’d just pick a companion character for quests that require more than one person. If you choose the online option, throw in some missions that require your buddy(s) to be online to complete it with you. And then make an open world online where it’s like gta in the sense that you’re in an open map with strangers. That would be so awesome
@@angryvaultguy valid, but the point I was making was IF this had to happen, what best way to implement it without ruining the single player experience. A separate online mode would be the best compromise.
8:43 1 thing I thought would be cool is that you actually find some spells in the book’s library, I’ll explain better, if you go in a specific part of the library (let’s say for example defensive spells books) you actually have to scroll the book pages and try doing hand signs to learn it and master it, but maybe it’s too deep and too much work, would be hella cool tho imo.
And certain spells should be locked in the restricted section meaning that u first have to sneak in at night without getting caught and then learning it maybe with more steps then basic spells aswell just to make them more difficult to get but more rewarding when u finally learn the spell
@@o1iii906 yes but that goes without saying, if you start doing it for the normal library then it would make no sense to not do it for the restricted section aswell 😺 (I mean the developers working on it)
My guess is Sebastian will want you to learn from Isidora and Isidora would want to teach you how to heal Anne. I think Anne may play a bigger role in the sequel too, with Anne healed it doesn't mean Sebastian is out of the woods yet.
@@haleycarson4129 I hear Avalanche is working on two projects, one short term and one long term. My guess is short term is Hogwarts Legacy Anniversary Edition which comes with a DLC which will be according to rumor about 10-15 hours long. And the long term project is the sequel to Hogwarts Legacy.
Even though it is a minor detail I hope Hogwarts Legacy 2 offers the ability to adjust your character's height when you create them. I also want to see a morality system and more house quest and a quest line involving a character from each house... I still don't get why Ravenclaw got left out on those... (talking about the quests with Nati, Poppy, and Sebastian).
The morality system could tie in with the house point system which could tie in with the curfew system. So if you get enough points you can become a prefect and prefects are allowed to do patrols at night and are allowed up past curfew which could give you an opportunity to not have to sneak around overnight
I want a lot of upgrades from the first game. Better weather, more attacks from enemies, a much longer story, more side missions, more companion stories, more companions in general, and a more immersive world. A larger map too. Map in first game is long but narrow.
As for number two, they already have a great foundation which means they don't have to do all out of the highly detailed work involved in recreating the castle I would like to see them fully implement actual full class days. A curfew system, a morality system and multiple years Possibly a separate in-game system where you just enlist at Hogwarts and are a student for 7 years. No big story or whatever. Just managing to pass all your classes and graduate
They could completely ignore the open world outside of Hogwarts, at most they could add Hogsmead, so they could focus on what really matters, Quidditch, duels, classes, companion system, morality, and interactions with the castle, the school is big enough to make a huge game, even bigger than the first one with that whatever world map.
Things I personally would like in in a successor... - Morality System (Path to go dark Wizard/Witch, Consequences to using forbidden spells or attacking players ) - Online mode akin to GTA Online (Different missions and whatnot, possible seasonal events where you can learn new spells, PvP magic duels, Quidditch matches[Tournaments]) - Better Voice options (The pitch tuner just sounded robotic, even after the patch)
@@Shawnie_sama I meant more of new story lines new characters but like how the EA games kind of were lol I love Harry Potter but yes I too am tired of his story haha
Wild take: HL needs to be "Personafied". Mandatory everyday, but pretty short classes with enough time for post-classes activities - chilling with friends, romance, additional studies, combat, exploration etc.
@@aqualad9601I think that's too graphic for Hogwarts Legacy. Mind you, MC and the other companions are still minors. If they still set this in their 6th year, it would be problematic.
I want minigames for all classes and being able to take on exams (just like the DS games but that way better). Also being able to use a patroness, having Dementors in the game. Being able to become an animagus. And at last going to Diagon Alley and the Ministry of Magic.
I made somewhat long list in Twitter, and I personally want this one thing that most YTbers haven’t really talked about (at least i haven’t seen): More catchable creatures that can be mythical creatures, and Give them to do something to playable character in and out of battle (For an example, niffler collects money and gems from out of battle, and distracts in battle) …. And i want to be able to do a combination (or dual) magic
I wonder how we would learn spells again. We would have to go over all the exposition and classes just to get the same spells again? Would we be able to transfer progress if we have a hogwarts legacy 1 save file? Would we get all new spells?
I hope it will have more life sim/rpg elements, so you actually feel like a student. And can develop relationships with npcs. Just more activity in the castle, but rather than chasing collectibles, working on relationships and schoolwork.
Custom wand from scratch (design, material, color, wood handle like Harry’s or whole wand. (Use elder wand maybe if beaten the first game or something. More spells, areas to explore (ministry of magic ect) relationships and friends, classes ect
I never understood that they didn’t brought some updates to Hogwarts Legacy like a Halloween themed event or Christmas or whatever. Just a little gimmick like fireworks over Hogwarts on New Year’s Eve would have been nice.
- more mounts - less cave quests, cooler locations for quests - new characters or more variety of monsters... it get kind of boring after a while to always fight same old spiders, wolves... - and ending that does not feel rushed
I’m hoping it goes a similar route with Tears of the Kingdom being a direct sequel to Breath of the Wild in terms of save data. Stuff like House, wands, spells, the Room of Requirement, character friendships and choices, etc needs to be transferred over. It’s possible as Nintendo has done, but it’ll be interesting to see if Hogwarts Legacy 2 follows that. You already have the world laid out as a template, so now it’s time to flesh it out more, implementing more things like school schedules, more things with Crossed Wands, possibly a quest line with Natty where you ask her if she could guide you to become an Animagus, possibly more tweaks to the Vivariums, and more customizable options for your shop in Hogsmeade.
I want it to be like where you can transfer your saved character and the choices they made in the previous game transfer to the sequel games That’s a dream come true to be honest. Also bring in quidditch cup
My quess is we move ahead 5 to 7 years and we come back as a professor, just like Isidora, we work for the ministry and the ministry becomes like the map chamber, where everything begins, expanding to new areas and opening new areas of scottish highlands, because they really need to be careful of the been there done that factor.
The second one will not, I repeat, will not have Quidditch. There is no way that they would add a feature that would take away an audience from another Harry Potter game. It just doesn’t make sense
For Hogwarts Legacy 2, one of the improvements I'd suggest is to increase the interaction with regular objects (like Zelda BOTW), and to make the Forbidden Forest more special, adding more creatures and things to do/dangers. There were spiders and other creatures everywhere, so the Forbidden Forest didn't feel any special.
I really hope puzzle will be harder and more complex, and more dungeons. Feels like some of the puzzles are half finished and way too simple. And i want more secrets and think passages or locations that are mention from passing by npc or books that you have to have payed attention to know about. I also want to pick a pet owl to follow me around! Also mini games , like wizards chess! Choices! I want our choice to effect things! Relationships! Yule Ball? Maybe our own ability to design cloaks and witches hats , kinda like animal crossing? Lol but be cool they add embroidery we move, size and rotate on clothing as well at colors.
Good ideas! Minus the Yule Ball, which is specific only towards the tri-wizard tournament, which stopped in 1792 and recommenced in 1994 for that single school year. The puzzles were fairly simple, except (for me at least) the locked doors with the symbols. I couldn’t, for the life of me, figure out how those worked and finally had to resort to looking it up lol.
@@brodygandy5761while the Tri-Wizard tournament was officially banned by the ministry there could be an underground circuit otherwise it would be lore breaking
i would love to see other schools and more creatures all through out the game, more magical creatures you can have as friends, more spells, more classes, companion to choose to run around with, relationships, PVP, more dueling, more mini games like the accio game, going to another school for the tri wizard tournament, or having a tri wizard tournament, makeup options, customized wand handles, and wand color and style choices, better wardrobe or more tansmog options with your gear like shoes - pants - shirts also being separate, better pants for girls, more stuff to put in my house (room of requirement) , maybe my own home after the school year, maybe a career path in the magical world, have dinner and gatherings at the big table with your house, more interactions with your house members, more, more , more etc. I love this universe, i need more of it! so much more. i want to be immersed like i am in this universe when i play. just a few thoughts. i have many more. had so much fun playing this game with my family! we all had a solid nerd out session for months playing this game. it was so fun for all of us! :-)
It would be interesting to see it as an open world to a multiplayer setting, with sections of “battle of Hogwarts” things like that, Goblet of Fire setting for a single player would be good. I’d like to see npc’s that could be interacted with more, even some interaction with Peeves would be nice. I like your idea of use of ancient magic and going to the Ministry, maybe a revisit to Azkaban? Perhaps a visit to other schools like Ivermorny
I only care about two things: 1. Being able to play online with friends 2. That the stories continues where it left off. I love the characters and storyline they’ve created for the first game and I got the feeling they ended it pretty openly in order to be able to continue it in a later game. Especially in regards to Anne and Ominis.
would love to have more wizard on wizard combat, less focus on goblins. Also think there should be a couple spells added (mainly the patronus charm) and incorporate azkaban. We also didn’t get to see the hogwarts express, diagon alley
I don't care about playing quidditch but I would like to go to a match. It would be great if a random match or practice was at the pitch. I would stop what open world task I would be working on to watch for a little bit. Maybe be able to help my house team by doing some tasks that would get them better brooms or up their skills. Playing games in the common rooms would be great too.
I would love a dual/triple story line where you start out by saying you either absorbed the power reserve or you didn’t or you plan to not use the power. And that shares the story as a whole. More real world interaction would be nice.
I would like to see: House Cup, dementors, more Hogwarts, nicer broom flights, implemented quidditch in the story, harder fights and more spells, more interaction with other characters, a human dark wizard as the many antagonist, more complex skill tree, real legendary items that are really hard to get and a little op....
I agree a morality system should be added, I also think that adding games like Wizard Chess, Gobstones and Quiddich would be good just do not make them mandatory parts of the quest count (like they did with Summoners Court in the 1st game) games like that should be a fun distraction not something you are forced to do to achieve a 100% on the quest count, lets face it not every character in the books was on the Quiddich team so why should we as players be forced into it if we don't want to, give us the choice so it feels more natural.
One of my favorite RPG design features is release-to-release player choice/consequence carryover. The Witcher did this really well. If you played the prior release in the series, you could choose to use your save file or tell the game what key decisions you made, and it would impact the world you played the sequel in. I love the idea of a well-fleshed-out morality system that ties into the House Point system. Give players more random opportunities in-game or during cutscenes (maybe some things are a bit like quick time events where you can't dwell on the consequences for too long) that impact the way other characters see them. As they accumulate house points, they can unlock new content with professors, dedicated students, and the living aspects of the school. If they choose to do things that risk losing house points, they can unlock new content with ne'er-do-wells, mischievous students, and the living aspects of areas their professors normally don't advise/allow them to explore. Generally, I'd agree with everything else suggested in the video. Hopefully the Quidditch game we got recently was a systems/design test for Avalanche that they decided to try and make a quick buck off of, and we see Quidditch in the next title.
what hogwarts legacy (1) did not think about, was the outcome of different story endings. they gave us the option to rat out sebastian or to keep what happened to ourselves and let him continue to stay at the school. also the protagonists ending, if we seal the emotion or absorb it, had no outcome to the real ending of us just happily winning the house cup with all of our friends who i didnt really care about. but in the end, it basically means the story of us being good or evil cannot be continued, as it would disregard a whole ending of the first game as if it never happened. if they want to make a hogwarts legacy (2), they would have to include the outcomes of all different scenarios from the first one, which is just not possible. they gave us this whole setup, specifically designed as one game and now the only thing they can reuse is basically the world or... the build assets, but not the characters within it. i have the strong feeling, with the upcoming games, we will jump through other time periods, either MUCH earlier than hogwarts legacy, to explore the earliest stages of ancient magic or long lost secrets which no longer exist, or later than hogwarts legacy, meaning... maybe being a classmate to lily and james, a young professor snape and lupin and we do our thing while learning about their struggles during school. the first option would be a great setup of us being a professor who already knows most of the spells and we have authority to walk freely through the building, while following the main quest. the second option would give us the setup of being a student and whatever house we chose, we meet familiar faces and names but in their youth. a third option could be that we are a squib and we cannot learn any magic spells whatsoever, but through an encounter we get to a wand and find out that we are able to use ancient magic, which could go in a whole lot of different directions.
maybe a timer and schedule to get to your next class on time. the later you are, the more points taken from your house and less time to improve your spell work
You named all those teachers and characters you’d want to find out more about… I know damn well you didn’t leave out *Professor Ronen!!* Throw some respect on his name!! He’s my favorite teacher
I for sure have my own theories on what I want the sequel to be, but admittedly, they are probably a bit unrealistic. My assumption is that the sequel will feel similar to the recent *Zelda* sequel, where it’s essentially the extremely great, definitive version of the game we already know. Now that they have the world built out, they should upgrade to Unreal Engine 5, giving it all the nuance and deep gameplay elements they intended to include the first time. Every village and area should feel extremely interesting. They should add some complex dungeons, more enemies (a la *Dragon’s Dogma 2*), and make the incentives in the world *truly* worth exploring-an elaborate clothing system, expound upon their stunning Room Of Requirement mechanics, etc. If they really, really put the pedal to the metal and make it a game full of deep complexity within the same world, and if we’re lucky (this would *really* make the sequel feel next-level and exciting), they could add a section with Diagon Alley and a small piece of London as a map you could go back and forth between. That would probably be the best-case and most realistic scenario for a sequel. While I’m at it, they could drop a lot of the southern map from the game (and nobody would mind *at all* because we don’t go there, lol) just to focus on the quality, depth, and verticality of the more immediate area around Hogwarts-and like I said, hopefully a London map!
I'd like to be able to swap between combat styles. The first game was largely telekinesis-spell-based. Being able mto swap to a transfiguration-style would be sick
Just an idea. What if the more classes you took, you could upgrade your spells, ancient magic, like an entirely new spell tree just to become even more powerful? Then you could get even more powerful bosses that you could battle.
Triwizard Tournament would be great, it could be a continuing plot line from the first game if you either need to keep your ancient magic a secret during such a public event or how people would react to you being a champion with such an “advantage”
Build it like a offline/online "MMO" with Singleplayer features and groups or Co-Op, repayable missions, trade hubs for students, professions, real lessons to train your casting etc... We start in the first year, with a "theme-Endboss-szenario" and the "life" Update will be second year and so on (Each Year with a "Szenario") till you get to become adult and roam the Open world beyond Hogwarts. With also Updates and PVP/PVE stuff. And every year will be a update or a Addon. It would be freakin awesome!!!
What i really want is just a more dense game, one where you feel like you have an impact in the world and every choice matters, where you have more expression, more outcomes, and more consequences for your actions, a living breathing world, that reacts to everything you do.
I would LOVE curfew, having to sneak around the school at night, hiding from Peeves. I would also love to see there be assignment deadlines and penalties for turning things in late (loss of House Points). Finally, I would LOVE to see there be a requirement that while in the castle you have to wear house robes, and specific uniforms for playing quidditch etc. I'd love to be called out for wearing muggle clothing while in school.
I love the idea of Sebastian being the villain but I think it should be fast forward a decade or so and you should be a PROFESSOR! It would be so thrilling to explore the world as an adult who has a classroom and home base at Hogwarts but can explore into other areas as well!!
I don’t know how they would do this but I would LOVE to have a opinion to become an animagus. They already have the basics. Have a side quest with Natty were she asks if want to become an animagus.
MORE MOUNTS. I would love to be able to take different types of dragons in the wild and not only put them in the vivarium but actually use them as mounts. It was so irritating making and finding Shiny Graphorns and not being able to ride them around the map. The Phoenix as well. Would’ve been a very nice if we could’ve used it as a mount
I completely agree with you!! Nice to see someone else would like this too!! Having dragons that could breath fire, ice, lightning etc while flying on them would be amazing!!
I GOT MY MONEY READY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Had it ready since about an hour or so playing in game of Legacy 1 game!!!!!!!!!! I was like Dang!!!!!!!!!..........Create a series, line these games up............... I will buy and buy baby!!!!!!!!!!!!
I really want hogwarts legacy 2 to be bigger en after release get some dlc aswell hogwarts legacy is in my top 3 favorite games ever but after getting the platinum there is just nothing left to do
First game was great! But it really could’ve been so much more! It definitely felt like the right direction and exactly the kind of content we want in a Wizarding World game, but it just felt playing too safe in some areas. Also cancelling Quidditch season did not help.
I have 3 criticisms to make of the first Hogwarts Legacy. First point they tried to improve the architecture of Hogwarts by making it more colorful, but I think they ruined the perfect atmosphere that there is in the films of a medieval castle with mysterious and gloomy atmospheres. Second point is the absence of the entire arsenal of magic that appears in movies and books (reducto, expecto patronum, levicorpus, ecc...). Third, there is no real difficulty in casting a spell. I am convinced that they should have separated the spells into levels from 1 to 10, with increasing difficulty to perform them. Making even levels 9 and 10 almost impossible to pierce, like an Avadakedavra that is often abused. Then there would be other things, such as that Hogwarts does not behave like Hogwarts, but more of a hotel where you can return and leave whenever you want).
I have a feeling the next big bad will be Harlow/Rookwood (they could use a plot twist that he didn’t actually pass away) and either one is gonna take revenge and possibly find any missing repositories. Finding Anne and curing her could have us traveling to Ilvermorny to collect healing ingredients from the tree that grew from Salazar’s wand. Possible mission to the Gaunt manor, maybe Diagonally, etc. Sebastian ending up in Azkaban might send use back to the prison and reporting whether his sister lives or not. Heck, even a fail tri wizard cup would make for a good story especially if Rookwood tries to infiltrate the castle during a game, that way more story time for professor Black trying to use MC as a way to make himself look better in terms of appearance (he could say that he personally had a hand in the mission to put an end to Ranrok. There could even be a mission introducing Dumbledore since he should be starting around that time. There’s a lot of really good ways the devs could continue the story.
Three things I want and One thing I don’t. 1. Better friend interaction. More than just Sebastian should have any real focus. I went in wanting to be friends with Poppy Sweeting and she has very little focus or development. 2. I want more classes. I want to spend time as a student. 3. I want more House specific content. What I don’t want is a live service game.
I so can't wait for Hogwart 2, I so hope they can dive into maybe 50 years before Harry Potter this time. I would love to see some pre-ideas on Fantastic Beasts maybe right before Harry Potter is born. I would love to save more beast missions maybe and this time have Scamander's briefcase that you can climb inside the keep your vivarium and you can keep double the beast's.
Am I the only one that just wants it to be more like the experience of being a student in a magical school like friendship, bullys, cliques, pranks, quidditch, prefects and detention and each character even yourself has a unique story and style/personality
I would be so hyped for a Tri-Wizard tournament aspect of the game, since my personal favorite part of Hogwarts Legacy was the MC's companions and their stories and personalities. It would be great to meet new characters and could expand the lore outside of the immediate Hogwarts area. I'd also love to get to know more about the other wizarding schools, since that subject is so underdeveloped!
Spells having a deeper skill tree would be neat. Like bombarda-maxima! In the movies. You have regular bombarda and then the maxima or tier 2 if that same spell that causes more damage or alternative damage. and more spells. At least 6-7 per damage type (purple, yellow, red, etc).
If in hogwarts legacy 2 there was the goblet of fire that wouldn't make sense because in Harry Potter or one of the versions or whatever it literally states that in our character's third year there was a Try was a tournament again but that would be in our third year
I honestly wouldn’t mind if there’s absolutely no story and instead a heavy focus on immersion where there are classes you have to take just like school irl and have to make it to classes on time or miss them and worry about sports and house points. A more collection and learning attention to the game would be more enjoyable than silly action shooter.
Maybe I’m in the minority, but I’m want a smaller game world for this game, the best parts of the game were exploring the castle, Hogsmede, or the Forbidden Forest, everything else was generic
That's why he talks of adding depth to the game. Those close by locations were interesting because there was loads of things to do there. If they treat the rest of the world the same way, you'll want a bigger game ;)
It annoys me the amount of people who say tears of the kingdom did nothing new, as if there wasn’t not only a new area to explore in the sky, but also spoiler alert a complete underground area to explore, as well as this time a lot more of a proper story to play through. Also, let’s not forget about all the new gameplay mechanics. The game also did with Zelda games are often known for and took the story in a slightly darker direction in the first. I still don’t understand why so many people are mad these days about sequels being sequels. Yes, it is possible, depending on the franchise to make a sequel that takes the story to an entirely new environment, but that only works with certain types of games and certain types of sequels. Commonly it just makes more sense for the game take place and I’m very almost unchanged environment if it’s a sequel so it’s consistent with the original. Old Zelda sequels of the past we’re always praised for doing that. People loved, for example majora‘s mask since it was a direct sequel to ocarina of time and you could tell that by the way that it reused the same environment pieces with a new story involving a lot of the same characters, and using the same arch style. Now, however, tears of the kingdom does the same thing being a direct sequel to breath of the wild and people are calling it out for that saying it’s fallen short because it didn’t change enough. if they want it to be an entirely new game that’s fine but you can’t have it both ways if you’re wanting a sequel and you’re excited to see what could happen in a sequel to a game that was really good and you need to be able to accept what comes with, and is a part of sequel territory.
omg im so excited. we have project orion for cyberpunk, starfield shattered space and then hogwarts legacy 2 coming out, IM SO EXCITED !!! i just cant wait to see what hogwarts legacy has in store for us (:
If the game is a direct sequel and takes place in our 6th year, I think that means Dumbledore should be in the game in his first year which woukd be quite cool
Hogwarts Legacy is finally confirmed! What features and improvements do you want to see in the next game? Let me know!
I would ADORE a Mass Effect-style branching storyline system where your actions effect the plotlines. Would be so good for this game. I pray they DO NOT make it multiplayer, it would absolutely ruin the gameplay for me.
Sup man, @Hk219Hk for the giveaway
@@Nargon46that kind of system would take a long time to make, and plot wise each choice would have to be thought out.
@@Nargon46 i agree! i don''t think a game like this should be multiplayer, imagine how multiplayer + troll mods would just ruin the gameplay for some...
i hope that the game would a) allow all houses to visit azkaban prison + add more quests & gameplay to it, b) i wanna see a "battle of hogwarts courtyard apocalypse" type thing for the final battle (students, teachers, spiders, etc etc etc), because that would be so cooool omg !!
edit:
ADD MORE GAMEPLAY FOR RAVENCLAW PLEASE - ive seen a lot of people complain on tiktok about how ravenclaw is like, the worse house bc of the limited side quests, but if thats true, i hope they add more for ravenclaw!!
I want a morality system cause I like the roleplay aspect of the game
Yeah, I want to be a bad wizard.
@@CharlesVanexXme too i want to be a bad little wizard just like you!
Yeah, at least then we didnt need to pretend that we are not Poachers even though we are basically doing the same things for the same reasons (Kidnapping creature from there natural habitat for ingredients and or to sell them)
YES THEY SHOULD ADD THAT
That was the major disappointment with the original game. Especially when they added the capability of learning dark arts magic. The world should react to our behavior. Kind of like in the original Fable game. If I want to be the next "his name shall not be spoken" type character, let me and let the world react accordingly.
The second game needs to focus on the castle. We need most of the game in the castle. Morality, curfew, the house cup
I want to see the triwizard tournament
I came to say the same. Over all I didn't feel like it gave us that Hogwarts student experience that everyone wants. You go there for classes, and there's some of the hidden items and puzzles, but other than that, the school was fairly pointless. I saw people saying they wished we got basically Person 5, just HP, and honestly I agree. Even if they had this type of a battle system, keeping it more based around being a student and doing things around the school, it would have been so much better.
More classes to upgrade spells and make them more powerful instead of perks on gear would be great then use perks for health or broom stats and stuff like that would be cool
Real we want a realistic experience at hogwarts
So hogwarts bully edition?
1 - quidditch
2 - explore the black lake underwater...
3 - tri wizzard cup!
4 - broom flight needs to be faster and needs to feel exhilarating
Broom flight needs smoother controls to be honest
You already have quidditch game
@@theraven6133 with Hogwarts legacy graphics? I dont think so... must be part of the games story somehow...
Tri Wizard Tournament would actually be interesting in a hogwarts legacy sequel
Apologies just noticed my phone autocorrected to “Try” instead of “Tri”
The Black Lake idea would be great ❤
I would love some kind of bully structure for hogwarts legacy 2 were you have classes everyday and if you skip classes you can get caught by prefects and lose house points
This is exactly what needs to happen for a second hogwarts legacy. Maybe m rated too
@smokeytokegaming3347 why "M" rated? What's a need of a game in the HP universe to need "M" rated? What "M" rated aspects are you looking for?
Going to class?? That would get very annoying to have to go back to class for points for what? Unless the rewards were VERY beneficial
Nothing else matters expect:
1.broom improvements
2.Spell slot quick slots (eg. hot key for room of requirements spells)
3. Morality system
4. Classes are a reason for failing (maintain gpa)
5. More dynamic activities
6. House points matter
So a lot matters lol. Still much to improve on

Stop requesting a school simulator....
i dont even want i super cool story. i want to just start a regular first year and go till 7th year. i want to just be a student. have a time (curfews, classes every day, quidditch, etc) i want to be a hogwarts student. not some hero. i want us to actually have to pay attention in class, study, take owls, and more)
i want it to essentially be a school simulation
(and i want a two player game so me and my bff can play together)
Absolutely! And I want the possibility for romance with fellow students
And having a day and night cycle
People would love that too

The upgrade of Hogwarda legacy MUST HAVE:
1. The diagon alley.
2. No meaningless clothes/items.
3. Zero micro transactions.
4. Quidditch, a house points system, night hours and punishment.
5. Closer mechanics to what Ubisoft did with the first games.
6. Usable rare items.
7. Apparition and dissaparition.
8. Ministry of magic + full Gringotts.
9. Aurors.
10. Actual classes.
11. No BS room to get potion ingredients but tasks and places to get them.
12. A companion pet.
13. Kings Cross Station (including the platform 9 3/4.
14. Azkaban.
15. Bank account at Gringotts.
16. Quidditch World Cup.

18. Timeturner mechanics.
19. Werewolf’s, dementors, boggarts, and all missing creatures.
20. Candy from the books.

They NEED more rpg focus. Most of the point of the game is to fulfil your fantasies of attending Hogwarts yet in the first game it felt like I was just going along for a pre determined ride
Yeah there was no rp options at all
In terms of story, I think Sebastian's story needs a proper conclusion. So, I'm hoping it was deliberate and that they're planning on finishing out his story in the sequel.
the yule ball would be a good addition
oh this is a great idea!! the yule ball would be so fun to experience and get ready for, especially if they decide to fully lean into the rpg/persona5 route everyone's been talking about.

Agreed!
Nah screw online it should stay a single player experience, you want online play fortnite or call of duty
@@angryvaultguy valid, but the point I was making was IF this had to happen, what best way to implement it without ruining the single player experience. A separate online mode would be the best compromise.
Oh yea I agree
8:43 1 thing I thought would be cool is that you actually find some spells in the book’s library, I’ll explain better, if you go in a specific part of the library (let’s say for example defensive spells books) you actually have to scroll the book pages and try doing hand signs to learn it and master it, but maybe it’s too deep and too much work, would be hella cool tho imo.
Yes but I think it should be harder to learn the spell because your doing it by yourself but not to much harder
And certain spells should be locked in the restricted section meaning that u first have to sneak in at night without getting caught and then learning it maybe with more steps then basic spells aswell just to make them more difficult to get but more rewarding when u finally learn the spell
@@o1iii906 yes but that goes without saying, if you start doing it for the normal library then it would make no sense to not do it for the restricted section aswell 😺 (I mean the developers working on it)
Hand signs?

My guess is Sebastian will want you to learn from Isidora and Isidora would want to teach you how to heal Anne. I think Anne may play a bigger role in the sequel too, with Anne healed it doesn't mean Sebastian is out of the woods yet.
she didn't heal people, she took away emotions and harvested it as a power source
lets hope not, sick of the PC in a hogwarts game. the poaching logic is fucked
YES that storyline was so unfinished. I’m hoping it was intensional
Yeah, I think the only Ravenclaw character was the one that has us stargazing.
true that i want to be able make a hagrid look alike and animagius transformation
@@montymont4192 Yeah, we should be able to be as tall as Hagrid or as short a Flitwick
I'm the Ravenclaw thay completes the 4 house story arc aha
The morality system could tie in with the house point system which could tie in with the curfew system. So if you get enough points you can become a prefect and prefects are allowed to do patrols at night and are allowed up past curfew which could give you an opportunity to not have to sneak around overnight
I want a lot of upgrades from the first game. Better weather, more attacks from enemies, a much longer story, more side missions, more companion stories, more companions in general, and a more immersive world. A larger map too. Map in first game is long but narrow.
As for number two, they already have a great foundation which means they don't have to do all out of the highly detailed work involved in recreating the castle
I would like to see them fully implement actual full class days. A curfew system, a morality system
and multiple years
Possibly a separate in-game system where you just enlist at Hogwarts and are a student for 7 years.
- Morality System (Path to go dark Wizard/Witch, Consequences to using forbidden spells or attacking players )
- Online mode akin to GTA Online (Different missions and whatnot, possible seasonal events where you can learn new spells, PvP magic duels, Quidditch matches[Tournaments])
- Better Voice options (The pitch tuner just sounded robotic, even after the patch)

Also being able to use a patroness, having Dementors in the game.
Being able to become an animagus.
And at last going to Diagon Alley and the Ministry of Magic.
I made somewhat long list in Twitter, and I personally want this one thing that most YTbers haven’t really talked about (at least i haven’t seen):
More catchable creatures that can be mythical creatures, and Give them to do something to playable character in and out of battle
(For an example, niffler collects money and gems from out of battle, and distracts in battle)
….
And i want to be able to do a combination (or dual) magic
That’s interesting, never thought about that. Passive income would be great
We need more of the story to revolve aroud the castle, classes, house points and the room of requirements
I wonder how we would learn spells again. We would have to go over all the exposition and classes just to get the same spells again? Would we be able to transfer progress if we have a hogwarts legacy 1 save file? Would we get all new spells?
tbh i want to feel closer to the characters friendship wise, maybe like a bg3 type of conversation
I hope it will have more life sim/rpg elements, so you actually feel like a student. And can develop relationships with npcs. Just more activity in the castle, but rather than chasing collectibles, working on relationships and schoolwork.
I'd like it to be a sequel and your character can just be transferred over from the first game
Custom wand from scratch (design, material, color, wood handle like Harry’s or whole wand. (Use elder wand maybe if beaten the first game or something. More spells, areas to explore (ministry of magic ect) relationships and friends, classes ect
It would be nice to have some interaction with other characters outside of missions
I never understood that they didn’t brought some updates to Hogwarts Legacy like a Halloween themed event or Christmas or whatever. Just a little gimmick like fireworks over Hogwarts on New Year’s Eve would have been nice.
I hope it’s more narrative driven / more character narrative driven rather than a million random fetch quests
- more mounts
- less cave quests, cooler locations for quests
- new characters or more variety of monsters... it get kind of boring after a while to always fight same old spiders, wolves...
- and ending that does not feel rushed
More mounts 👍 = dragons!!
I want it to be like where you can transfer your saved character and the choices they made in the previous game transfer to the sequel games
That’s a dream come true to be honest. Also bring in quidditch cup
Even the progress of your animals transferring would be insane
My quess is we move ahead 5 to 7 years and we come back as a professor, just like Isidora, we work for the ministry and the ministry becomes like the map chamber, where everything begins, expanding to new areas and opening new areas of scottish highlands, because they really need to be careful of the been there done that factor.
If I can’t become the darkest wizard imaginable, I’m out.
If nothing else, they need more verity. They had 4 different puzzle types and over 100 puzzles to do. That gets tedious.
I only care about two things:
1. Being able to play online with friends
2. That the stories continues where it left off. I love the characters and storyline they’ve created for the first game and I got the feeling they ended it pretty openly in order to be able to continue it in a later game. Especially in regards to Anne and Ominis.
I would love to see more from the support characters. To learn more about them and their backstories. Maybe even the ability to develop relationships
would love to have more wizard on wizard combat, less focus on goblins.
I would love to see the Tri-Wizard Cup be a part of the sequel.
i hope that in the sequel that you can become an Aimagus
Oooh I love you house point idea
Right?
maybe a timer and schedule to get to your next class on time. the later you are, the more points taken from your house and less time to improve your spell work
You named all those teachers and characters you’d want to find out more about… I know damn well you didn’t leave out *Professor Ronen!!* Throw some respect on his name!! He’s my favorite teacher
Where’s my Professor Hecat appreciation
Well said, Garrett!
I'd like to be able to swap between combat styles. The first game was largely telekinesis-spell-based. Being able mto swap to a transfiguration-style would be sick
I want our mc actually reacting to the seasons. Like if you wear smth light in the winter your health will actually go down/ take damage
Deathly Hallows, horcruxes, prophecies, villains.
Had the same thought. It's at least a viable story-path.
awesome news! can't wait.... It would be nice to get the backstory on our main character and other characters.
I agree!!
I don’t know how they would do this but I would LOVE to have a opinion to become an animagus. They already have the basics. Have a side quest with Natty were she asks if want to become an animagus.
The process of becoming an animagus can't be a sidequest....that would be a game in itself
Chamber of secrets @@PraharPratik
@@PraharPratikthey would need to simplify it but it would be interesting to see how many possible forms there could be
I would LOVE that too!!
What about different side quests for each house. More replay ability
I hope they have a character carry over, that would be great.
Would be but that would never happen
I hope that the story will continue moving from year 6 forward
I really want hogwarts legacy 2 to be bigger en after release get some dlc aswell hogwarts legacy is in my top 3 favorite games ever but after getting the platinum there is just nothing left to do
Great video man I really enjoyed it
Thanks so much!
I'd like to turn into an Animagus...🫎🐴🐒🐈🐆🦨🐘
Could even include a mission where after we have learnt the patrons charm we sneak into Azkaban to break Sebastian out
Three things I want and One thing I don’t.
1. Better friend interaction. More than just Sebastian should have any real focus. I went in wanting to be friends with Poppy Sweeting and she has very little focus or development.
2. I want more classes. I want to spend time as a student.
3. I want more House specific content.
What I don’t want is a live service game.
Yes exactly
I’d love to have more in depth quests with our companions - more friendship! Maybe even romance?
A small addition to customization I would like to see is. The ability choose the color of your basic spell cast
I want more and a greater variety of enemies. Scarier ones which you’d hesitate to fight with.
Am I the only Harry Potter fan who thought the game was average? Lw regret paying full price for it lol, it was on sale a few months later
