Everybody I know that gets records got that AWB record. Pretty sure if your a head lookn for samples in the 50cent bin and run across some AWB you gotta bring it home
Jeff Graham I’m in love with my SP. I would have bought a SP1200 if I had more cash. The work flow and speed make the SP one of the fastest and most fun machine to use! Nothing really like it.
I want to start making session videos like this, I've just been using my phone and the quality is terrible. I dont ien a computer or any way to edit video. I do have a badass old sony vx1000 that I think would be cool. Any ideas of how I could upload videos from a camcorder with my phone
Yeah agreed with other comment also theres Ableton. Get you a DAW bro. These boxes are fun but computers give you limitless possibilities. Also you can pull any sample you want from a youtube to mp3 converter
Jeff Graham not even just for the DAW, but editing videos on phone and uploading them is not a nice experience. A computer will give you way more options for what you want to do than a phone
If you have a half decent phone you can use Viva Video app to edit your video. I do most of my edits on my phone and only use the iMovie editor on my computer to sync audio to the video I edited on the phone. The Viva Video app is actually more featured than iMovie as I can put together more than 2 videos , add text to the video as well as other things not possible on iMovie. Using more than one editor to come up with the final product is good if you don't have Final Edit Pro but if you only have a phone you can do a lot with Viva Video
If ur into sp and vintage samplers check out a couple tracks I posted on my page. Like I said the quality sux cuz I'm just recording with my phone. But u can tell it sounds badass . I use sp1200, emu e4k ,eps, dw8000 and a modded mpc snd record on 40 year old reels... I think anyone into old samplers and especially sp1200 will like my sound
@@micknight1462 8 voices but I can't say for sure if all 8 can play at the same time. Will have to find out for myself by sampling a piano sound and seeing if i can play an 8 note chord.
Roberto Torres I usually do but was mad rushing. Was trying to do the quickest beat I could. 18mins a record for me haha. I can spend all day on a beat. I like taking my time. But unfortunately recording/editing videos for TH-cam and my main camera only being able to shoot for like 12 minutes at a time makes the whole process lack luster. Maybe I will try live streaming instead. No close camera angles but at least I can focus more on the beat.
@@Soultron right? ha! Best beat i ever made in my life was a 15 minute beat on an sp1200. Need to get one but will probably go with the IslaInstrument Sp2400 when released.
REGEND I have checked out some of the SP2400 videos and I’m not as excited. I mean if I can get one cheap on the used market I would buy it. I just think that the lower PPQ and analog filters are a must. Also the limitations of the 5-10 seconds of sampling time completely dictates your work flow. I have other samplers with way more sampling time. But I always find myself going back to the simplicity and quickness of my SP12. I’m excited to see people having a go at it though. (Building clones) Hopefully someone will get it right soon 👍🏽
The cam girl in the background is crazy funny & cool. LOL! Nice beat, bro.
5 seconds of dopeness. The Moog bass is phat!
Your workflow is Tuff!! Nice flip of the Ozzy Osbourne track. You really work the SP12 like a pro. Respect
Luke Kage Thanks for the kind words! The SP work flow is fun. Super quick! Nothing like it really. 🕺🏻
It’s hard to flip those metal cuts. He grabbed the hot synth tho and damn.
Nice! I actually heard it differently in my head between all the sounds. Very creative to make the sounds into short stabs.
Finally getting around to watching more of your videos........DOPE STUFF BRUH!!!!!
Cool beat your SP is clean asf! 🎧💉👂🎼🎵🎶💎⛏👀
would enjoy it even more with the above shot on the sp12 too. very cool to watch your process
Thas owsome i love the SP 1200 and the Ozzy sample !! Nice broo !! I enjoy
yo thats an sp12, even more old school 80s less memory and sample time than the 1200
🔥
Very cool! Didn’t like the first sample you picked, but it turned out really great when you chopped it up!
Who's the cam girl in the background? #priorities

Vestax PDX-2300 Mkii Pro. Thanks for watching!
Any SP looks fun to use, is the 12 worth it?

You gotta invest in a decent computer man it will make your life 1000x easier

Is that the SP12 alone or with another sequencer ?
It’s just the SP12
name of drums?

Clean SP. Thanks for this. Would like to put some cuts over it.
So it isn't just me. The SP 12 has lack of polyphony. Unless you output channels to mixer I guess.
This is dope!

One more thing jus a suggestion...cow bells gotta go. Aight I'm done.
Jeff Graham yeah It was off anyway haha
youd have to be pretty ill to own one of those
@AllYouKnowIsWrong Is that the sp2400?
@AllYouKnowIsWrong yh, its still about $950 or something, not cheap!
Напоминает линейный монтаж на тв, как же вам сложно было то а....
Chop them drums bruhhhh

That thing is cleeeeeean but man that beat is the musical equivalent of 9/11. It’s so bad.
It’s not that clean. People like you are the reason I don’t post anymore.
How in the heck can you match tempos on the Sp
Timing it's a skill from theb100% vinyl days
